A brand new quest awaits. Our path to forge the future lies in discovering things from the past, by unearthing ancient relics.

All level 85 characters that finished the main quest can start receiving the new task. Start the new line of quests by 'Kundun' in his abode in Ohrdor Commercial District.





Level cap has been adjusted to 86.


Check out the Abyssal Dungeon - Ancient Relics, where you will encounter random dungeon challenges. Go to Crescent Moon Island in Noria and find the portal to Ancient Relics.

Acquire corresponding tickets to enter the Relic Dungeon. Form a party with your friends, and fight through the challenges together.





New NPC will allow trading new items using "Relic's Token" that can acquire in the new dungeon.


New equipment gear sets have been added for each class. Equipment will drop on the new dungeon challenge.


*Sample Level 86 Equipment for Black Phantom, You can discover the other equipment inside the game.


New items have been on the Legend Shop.







Enchantment Inherit/transfer feature has been added. This is applicable on certain gear only. Check out the Enchant Furnace on Ohrdor City for more information.

The LiveWire Series is back with its second instalment and this time the competition is guaranteed to be more intense as users have now begun to discover some crazy new tricks and master the game's physics and controls!

As promised, we will be giving out Steam gift cards of $5 to each of the players who make it to the top three in positions of the leaderboard and they will also be featured in the game for the entire duration of the next LiveWire competition!



The current round of the LiveWire competition is on till January 08, 2021 so there's plenty of time to explore new ways to improve your times and check out all the other new features that we are regularly adding to the DLC.



In other news, the Speedrun community is growing at a steady pace and the dedicated Discord server for Ball at Work Speedruns is a cool place to hang out, discuss the game and compete with other users. We will be adding an in-game Autosplitter for speedrunning VERY soon!!

Alright, so before I start talking about the new art/pictures, please keep the following in mind:
I have to draw art with my mouse and keyboard....

I have a wacom drawing tablet, but its the old one where you draw and look at the screen, not the new expensive fancy one where you actually see what you draw. I tried... but can't get used to it. My lines look like trash. It's actually far more efficient, and clean to draw with the pen tool in photoshop. It's a great tool! The 3 drawings of the dead guy, prisoner and chemist were done this way... but first... it's slow... like really slow and second, it still looks like sh*t.

I had to make a decision today. Either continue to draw mediocre art with the pen tool and waste maybe 1 week per art piece, or use real photos that I have edited to look in the art style that I am going for.

So I decided to go with option B and use my time to actually make new gameplay elements for the game, making the game more fleshed out and fun. I can revisit the art at a later stage if necessary. But honestly, I think it look pretty rad right now. Let me know what you think. Love it or hate it?

It's far faster to do it this way and besides, it's a free game and I am 1 guy doing everything. I want awesome hand drawn art, but I am also realistic and make the best of what I can and have.

So... the pictures are actually real pictures. I informed myself about fair use and copyright stuff and all that cr*p and I think I am in the clear since I am not selling the art itself and since I modified it extremely to represent almost something completely unique and different. Time will tell... if I get a copyright strike or not lol.

I like the new art because I wanted minimalistic art that is at the same time realistic looking. I want the game to look grim and dark not cartoony.

We wanted to make the game JUST a bit less dark, but still appropriately twisted, so we went for a more cartoony look. We're also hoping to release the game on Switch, so a clearer image will help make sense of the action even on a smaller screen.
