We've changed the name of our game to better reflect the game mechanics! Our soviet-era rocket builder is now called Soyuz Constructors! 🚀
Now let's move on to our recent progress! We are constantly working on game improvements. In this month we've been focusing on testing core mechanics in previously prepared internal pre-alpha build, mainly building a rocket and assembling.
In order to test building and assembling, we've added this giant rocket to the main construction hangar! We've also added more tools and devices!
What is more, we are still working on the new UI. Our UI designer prepared really nice concepts, and we're checking which of them will be the best!
Keep in mind that the game is still in development, and we’re sharing with you work in progress. There will be a lot of changes visible soon! Stay tuned for updates and feel free to share your suggestions on Steam Forum, or on our Discord server.
After a few days with beta 4 out on the default branch we're back with another stabilizing update, beta 4.2-0, as a result of the most common issues you've been reporting. This update takes care of several boarding issues, an issue where some passengers would randomly halt, multiple ATC related stalls and various other improvements.
] - Job task distribution system does not take transfer point into account when selecting nearest available employee causing, for example, poor selection of ramp agents to remote stands
] - Tutorial mode incorrectly shows all introduction steps if checklist button is pressed before starting the actual tutorial thus overflowing the panel (and will stay unusable if time is paused)
This week’s post is a bit shorter than usual, since we aren’t adding a feature that’s easy to show through video/GIFs.
Iron maps will start spawning once this update is live.

BALANCE
-Decreased Flotilla trade tax to 2% from 5%.

-Added a grid overlay to the local map. -Tweaks to Graphics Settings UI, all options should show up normally now.

Remember to join our Discord if you haven't yet! You'll find a link in #announcements where you can send in your questions for the devs. Check out our {LINK REMOVED}Living FAQ to see what we've answered in the past!
Q: Are there any walker mechanics you would like to expand upon in the future? Ex, replacing wings with torque batteries (making a walker function like the Silurs), leg variants that do different things like higher traction/speed. A: While the more broad and accurate answer is yes, specifics are obviously harder to be... specific about. One of the systems we're improving now and planning on working on in the near future, is Walker Modules. It's something the players interact with pretty much every day, something they make use of for the majority of the Walkers they utilize, so it's only logical that we improve it.
Q: Have you considered making job specific clans? For example Pirate clans, for people who like pvping, Merchant clans, for people who like selling. A: We wouldn’t want to make it a forced selection and instead expand the game in directions that allow more specialized clans. Even right now, we’re seeing that there are some clans that prioritize trading or territory control, raiding, and so on.
Q: Will there be a “creative mode” of sorts that wouldn’t be restricted to just private servers? Unlimited materials, unlimited health etc. A: It’s not out of the question, but we don’t have any specific plans for that. We’re definitely planning on expanding admin possibilities on private servers as well as allowing hosting your own servers, so it will definitely become closer to reality in the future.
Q: Are you planning to rebalance the cost of weapons, so other weapons beside the bonespike are affordable? A: You can definitely expect multiple rebalances before the game is out of Early Access. Some take more or less time to get right, some get their balance changed because of new feature additions, and so on. That goes for costs, damages, and everything else.
Q: Why are the tiles with caps all over the place and not in a row? A: The tile spawning system is automatic and decides which tiles to spawn based on many things like the number of players in a region, what kind of map types there are around, and so on. We might be tweaking the values here and there based on the feedback though, so changes to the system can be expected over time.
Q: Where did the grass go?????? A: Phemke infestation. Working on a fix.
Q: Will you change the clan cap from 50 to something else anytime soon? A: Not before Season 3, which should happen some time next year. We’ll be assessing all the feedback and other information from Season 2 closer to its end and will decide in what direction to go with clan caps.
We’re back with a couple of surprises for you guys so hang on tight and let’s get this update started with:
Avatars & props retexturing: replace your avatar’s colors/skin with whatever texture you want. The possibilities of customizations are endless. Check out the textures tab in the customization window to check it out!
Live2D import adjustments: fixed some bugs related to the Live2D Import option
Added the ability to reimport live2D avatars through the import menu
Manage Subscriptions UI Upgrade: We've redesigned the manage subscriptions UI to make navigation easier and clearer
New props included: Personalize your avatar with our newly released props: an army helmet, a mohawk steampunk hat, an axe hat, a shark hat, and hippie glasses
Downloadable props update: Moving forward, we'll be able to add props without requiring a binary update for Animaze
Added a copy-paste functionality to text boxes: you can now use the copy and paste functionality in most in-app text boxes
Added a reset panel layout button for windows for avatars, props, and more.
Fixed animations panel sizing issue
Physics scaling fixes
Several other fixes and adjustments
If you are having any other issues with the Animaze PC app please email us at support[@]animaze.us and we will do our best to resolve in our next updates!
PS: here are some example of how you can use the retexturing tool:
Absolutely! But don't expect Christmas carols, ginger cookies, and a regular Christmas tree with baubles. Our Christmas tree is scary, the teddy bear is straight out from a horror movie, and gifts? Gifts will want to EAT you!
The frosty atmosphere will bring scary creatures, which will make your work behind the bar more difficult! A thief bat, ugly cockroaches, and a voracious spider are new residents in the Horror Bar.
We don't want to brag around too much but we fixed some small issues and probably create new ones. Stay tuned. We are still in the Early Access period and we are constantly developing new features!
- DEFUSE MODE [BETA] Added to Game. - Rifles and Pistols can now be Dropped (Applies to All Game Modes). - Some Bugs Fixed. - Game Version has become v0.4.
A new Skarback support class, the Equalizer, enters the Dreadlands! Using Energy Drain debuffs on his enemies to charge up and unleash powerful Energy Boosts on his own allies!
Other Highlights from the patch
Fix for fungal salve and tinker skills
Fix for issue when overwatch shooting reinforcements
