We continue to implement your ideas into the game. For now, we want to release a small patch that should improve loading times on HDD drives. We're adding a few other things as well, hopefully it will improve your prologue experience;).
Game Settings: Run In Background switch added. While loading, the app has Run In Background active on default, so it's still loading when minimized. You can change this option whenever you want.
Better loading times - we've found out what caused the game to load so slowly and we've fixed it. Our work is not yet done here, but the improvements are big. In the nearest future the loading times will get even quicker.
Items description now shown in each turn - this is our experimental feature, to deepen the immersion. Tell us what you think about it.

The upcoming full release of r5.25 introduces first pass of modding; Custom character patterns and skins, and character mods ^^
What this means in a nutshell is that people can create mods that allow players to download character packs with custom painted patterns, or players to paint their characters and use custom skins for the characters. Do note that creating a mod is a bit more involved process than just setting colors on a character in the editor!
We’ve written a modding booklet that helps you get started on making custom skins for the game; It has a lot of JSON samples and examples on how things can be done and it teaches some basics of Substance Painter which we use to paint skins for characters.

Do note that it is not possible to add mods in-game itself before the r5.25 is released (soon, tm), but you can start building your mods even prior with help of the guide. We’ve tested several types of mods quite extensively and the pattern/skin structure is identical to what we use in-game, so anything you do prior release is definitely going to be usable in-game too! ^^
When r5.25 releases we have a few mods for players too, namely a custom skins pack, and a mod that adds Kizan as a prey on Skiia (they’re not native to the island, so you can definitely make a kizan and play one, but they won’t spawn on Skiia itself without the mod). Installing a mod will be really simple though! ^^
And you can start discovering the joyous world of custom skins straight away! <3

That's right! After an all-nighter, I've fixed the issue where it pops up with a message saying there is a missing executable! Or at least I think I have... I have re-installed the game and it works with the new update from my end but I don't know about yours. Please reply to this post telling me if it works or not, thanks!

The Inertial Drift OST is a collaboration between UK broken beat legend Kaidi Tatham and NI electronic artist Kab Driver. Inspired by cult 90s arcade racers but spun out with contemporary production techniques and a distinct jazzy soul.

Winter is here but battles in Warface are as heated as ever before. And this is great! On winter evenings, you will be kept warm by satisfying memories of the victories gained in the old year and, of course, by themed new items that we have prepared for you. "Xmas Hangar", a festive gun series, a special weapon charm and lots of achievements - soon in Warface!
Xmas Hangar
Is this what you expected? We have updated the Christmas version of one of the most popular maps in the game. Snowball shootouts or Candy Knife battles will provide the right kind of a festive vibe. The Hangar is a great place to enjoy the usual dynamic gameplay and misbehave a bit.
Your task is invariably simple: destroy as many opponents as possible using any available means. Hide a mine behind a nice gift, make your enemies really happy with the surprise! But be on the alert - watch out and look under your feet. Rumor has it that iced containers are very slippery!
In addition, upon completing a match on this map, you will see a festive background on the statistics screen decorated with gifts and a Christmas tree. Naturally, wins on this map will be rewarded with special achievements. Collect the festive set and decorate your profile!
"Glacier" Series
There can be no festivities without cool arms. In the next update, Warface will offer a festive weapon series "Glacier", which you can earn right now in a special event. The guns boast original looks and a colourful frosty animation. Beware, the arms are ice-cold, do not forget to put on gloves!
Killing blows made with these weapons will grant you sleek achievements!
Weapon Charm
You've probably noticed many little ducklings in various locations in Warface. And this is not for nothing! Ducks are cute little Easter eggs in the game. And now one of them will appear among the weapon charms. By mounting it on a gun, you will receive +100 to the holiday mood and +100 to luck in battles.

Festive Achievements
A special set of achievements awaits true fans of Warface and winter holidays lovers. These distinctions will help you keep the memory of cool events for a long time. We will tell you how to get the entire coat of arms later.
Safe House
Not only game maps will be filled with Christmas spirit. A very important place for every soldier - the Safe House - will also change for the winter holidays. Christmas wreaths, gift boxes, festive decorations, snowballs, fairy lights, a snowman and even reindeer images will be added to its decor.
