Dear Players, Following up on our previous announcement, we would like to inform you of the details of the new content that will be released this month, an open beta test and a free DEMO version.
The new arena mode will be called the “Ascension Mode.”
About the Ascension Mode
In this mode, you will first be presented with two characters from which you will choose one to be your challenger to aim for the top of the tower.
The challenger will start out with basic attributes and no equipment, from which you will be strengthening, using the rewards received for each victory at the battle floors. You will be presented three rewards from which you will be choosing one.
Further, at certain floors there will be an Ascension Market at which you can use Ascension Coins to buy items and equipment. Ascension coins will be allotted at the beginning and for each victory.
In this mode, you will be given a great amount of freedom on how to strengthen your challenger, including the choice of the character itself, the equipment, and what to buy with your Ascension coins. Each decision you make will greatly affect the outcome of battle, and how far up you will be able to ascend, more so than the strategy during the battle itself.
Open Beta Test
As a bit of an experiment, we have decided to conduct an open beta test of the Ascension Mode. This beta build will be available as of this announcement, to those who are already playing ARIA CHRONICLE. Please understand that the beta build will only include the Ascension Mode. Follow the steps below if you wish to join in the beta test.
Procedure to opt-into the beta test: 1. In the library page of ARIA CHRONICLE, click Manage (the gear icon) on the top right corner and click Properties. In the Properties, open the BETAS tab. 2. By default, the beta to opt into will be “NONE - Opt out of all beta programs.” Select “Ascension Mode Beta for Testing” from the dropdown menu. 3. Return to the library page and open the game by clicking the blue update button. 4. Enjoy the Ascension Mode! 5. If you wish to resume game play of the main story of ARIA CHRONICLE, please follow the steps above to return the beta setting to “NONE - Opt out of all beta programs.”

Every day Arks have something to celebrate, whether it be the eradication of an enemy or the fulfillment of a Client Order. Ultimately these tasks are about helping – or protecting – others, and that theme is featured strongly in the holiday season as well! ARKS HQ has wrapped quite a present for you this holiday season, so read on and we’ll unwrap it together!
QUNA’S HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Quna is feeling merry so she’s putting on performances of Eternal Encore with a holiday twist to them! Be sure to catch this special concert in the Shopping Plaza so you can experience the wintry magic with your fellow ARKS Operatives!
The trees have been lit, and piles of snow abound in the Shopping Plaza. You know what to do, Arks! That’s right, build a snowman! The stockings have even been hung in the Gate Area! With so much festive cheer, you’re bound to get in the holiday spirit!
In the snowy and normally silent Tundra area of Naverius, things are beginning to stir. Decorations have been placed, lights have been lit, and all await the pending festivities with glee. However, there are others that have also been attracted by the hubbub, and they are not on the guest list. Falspawn and other enemies are circling, attracted by the lights and music, and sadly they are not your average opponents. Resonant and other enhanced enemies have been spotted, and it’s up to you, ARKS Operatives, to ensure that our Holiday Venue remains safe for guests.
In groups of 12, you’ll have just 10 minutes to clear the rabble from the Venue, and Quest Points will be allotted to those who make the largest dent in the number of invaders. Naturally, as more enemies are defeated, the more intelligent and ferocious enemies will assume the defenders to have flagging spirits and will make their move; so be on your guard as your time nears its end.
Fortunately, these enemies appear to have quite the collection of rare weapons and equipment on them, so their extermination may be to your personal benefit as well.
Xia’s got a problem, or rather, problems, and she needs your help! The holiday event venue in the Naverius Tundra is infested with Falspawn and it’s up to you to clear it! She’s got some goodies to hand out, of course. Hopefully you like the featured rewards below, and a few Rising Weapons Badge 5!
After a few instances of mistaken identity during the Thanksgiving Day Event, Rappy has wisened up and instead of pulling out his holiday ham costume, he’s chosen to go with a Santa Rappy look! Keep a look out for his snowy white feathers! Umbra has also been inspired, and is ready to give you his holiday gift and other goodies!

We hope you brought your skis or a snowboard, Arks! Or maybe an inner tube and an outfit that’s semi-waterproof at least. Franca’s Café is on point with a wintry theme; complete with giant snow-rappys and sledding runs! The rustic chalet theme of the café gives way to a patio that looks out upon a wintry horizon – and seating is ideal to watch operatives and civilians enjoying themselves on the slopes! For any celebrations that may be occurring, a snowy amphitheater has been set up, complete with benches and stage! So if you wish to hold a festive costume contest, surely this is the ideal place!
