Sound Effects volume slider not updating orb collection volume
Volume sliders do not affect certain character SFX
Camera shoulder setting doesn't work
Windowed fullscreen doesn't work. Looks like normal fullscreen.
Changing the quality settings and hitting apply sometimes doesn't save the settings
Escape doesn't take you back a step in the in-match menu.
In the settings menu. When Quality is not set to Custom, the individual Quality settings are greyed out. This is confusing some players who try to change the individual settings and not being able to do so.
When using the lowest resolution value, texts on the loadout menu become off-centered and the matchmaking menu is almost unusable.
Infinite running when pressing ESC during a match
CTF mode; the Flag stays in water in Resort
If you enter matchmaking and choose the Overstep Classic game mode. You sometimes get client-side flags that can't be interacted with.
Weapons with splash damage do double damage
Dead characters have no ragdoll behavior at all. The game still has the old dying animation.
In the settings menu, using ‘reset to default’ reverts all settings to default, except for the resolution setting.
Pressing F2 in Trials mode breaks it
In the main menu, you can click on the friends and settings icons but only on the very top edge of their icons.
Parties permanently block Trials mode, until restarting the game
In the main menu, the platform meshes that the robots stand on have a gap between the top and the sides, allowing you to see a bit of the background through the platform.
Heat mode doesn’t register kills/deaths count
Blank widget avatar when not party host
CTF flags are present in other game modes in the resort map
Fixed inconsistency of skin rarity color between skins shop list and skin purchase popup
Colored the skin labels by rarity on the store.
Skin store sorts skins by rarity, corporation then, and finally name.
Solved issue with the flag in robot's back not being replicated if players are too far from each other
One of the party members doesn't travel to lobby upon successful match found
Just in time for the weekend it's time for the next patch. Have fun with it!
Changelog
The attachment of the suspended cabs has been completely revised, so the trams finally don't deform anymore! However, we know that the solution is not yet 100% perfect (in terms of distances between cabs), we are still working on it!
Full controller support has now been implemented. Please check if the axis for acceleration and deceleration is correctly assigned after the update and reassign it if necessary
Field of view (FOV) can now be adjusted for driver's perspective. This is especially useful when using very wide resolutions (e.g. when the game is spanned over 2 or 3 displays using NVIDIA Surround)
Station announcement not switching to Rathausplatz, Burgtheater (after Schottentor station in the direction of Stefan-Fadinger-Platz) correctly was fixed
Door check lamps are now working correctly and only switch off when all doors are closed
Cars now stop correctly at red traffic light at Mayerhofgasse station in the direction of Stefan-Fadinger-Platz
Bugfix for SteamVR compatible headsets (e.g. HTC Vive). Therefore the VR mode also works for HTC Vive now
Tooltips added in the settings menu
Fixed some minor bugs in the UI (menu)
Fixed sometimes hard to click buttons at the top of the in-game pause menu
Right indicator at last cab now switches off correctly
Added collision for door 6 of Flexity so entering and exiting is not possible anymore while the door is closed
Map updates:
Stop point adjusted at Volkstheater station in the direction of Stefan-Fadinger-Platz
Stop point adjusted at Parlament station in the direction of Prater
Added AI road traffic between Julius-Raab-Platz and Prater
Notice: TramSim now starts in non-VR mode by default. If you want to start TramSim in VR mode please use the "play" button in Steam where you can choose to launch in VR mode.
The update this week unlocks the Multiplayer feature. Players can now Host & Join games in using The First World War game lobby. We’ll soon be adding Editor and Steam Workshop support. These two features are best left for the final stages since game changes can easily break mods. That means we are getting closer to a final release. But there is still quite a bit to do before we can say it’s done.
Besides MP, this release has a number of bug fixes. One area we spent time on was trying to improve the historical flow to The Balkan War scenario. A lot of players have seen repetitive non-historical play from some AI nations, namely Bulgaria, Italy and to some degree France. As some here understand, the event code is quite dense and it’s very difficult to trackdown where things might be going wrong. On top of that there are two competing systems at work, the generic AI and the customized, nation specific AI. This forces us to be cautious about making really big changes that are difficult to test. I think we’ve made improvements but even if we fix all the obvious bugs, there are still subjective issues involving balance and how much weight we give to non-historical outcomes.
The recently added mechanism to penalize over taxing has been adjusted. We’ve reduced the ruse of Corruption penalties and added the potential for regional riots. This was our initial plan and we are interested in whether players prefer this method.
Work continues on the next scenario, The Russian Revolution. We are spending a lot of effort dealing with the breakup of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Right now it feels more complex than even the Balkan Wars and significantly more in depth than The Red Army DLC for Making History: the Great War. There’s a chance the new scenario might be made available in the next update. That is the goal.
Again, thanks for giving us feedback and pointing out the bugs.
Update #6 Release Notes:
Turned On Multiplayer feature
Added Defensive strength to Armored Train unit
Increased width of text area for Submarine Range to prevent property display clipping
Revised Mobilization data for nation at game start
Added ability to read Non-Aggression & Neutrality Pacts at game start rather than just events
Added Player condition test to Break Triple Alliance - may have prevented Assassination event from firing
Updated Game Map to fix a few borders not displaying in some regions
Fixed Animation bug in French Heavy Siege Guns
Fixed AirUnit Group Selection UI Graphic that was slightly offset
Modified AI Recruitment Template to reduce building of Armored Trains
Fixed Mountain Infantry Terrain Penalties error
Reduced Over Taxation Penalty and increased chance of revolts if taxes are too high
Unfortunately Victoria has left Kitfox, but the team continues developing new and more beautiful weapons every day even so. PLUS Kitfox released Lucifer Within Us last month... if murder mysteries are your thing, maybe check it out, especially as sales and discounts are likely around the corner...
Anyhow, we'll post a fuller big update in a couple of weeks when we have a new community manager to announce, but for now, check out these lovely attacks:
We got some chain lightning going on, forked from Lasersaber:
And if you click below you can check out a little video of the purrfect pawprints that trail behind you when you're pouncing on enemies with Brass Knuckles:
Plus we picked a few Kickstarter backers to take a stab at the game (heh) in a very closed beta test and questionnaire. We will open up to more testers in the coming weeks on the Discord, so do join us there if you're interested, but in the meantime I thought you might be interested to see the dungeoneering feedback in particular:
Gotta do some slicing and dicing and canoodling, but we'll be back to update you again soon!
It's been 3 weeks since we released our first playable alpha demo in the form of a Halloween Special. During this time we kept working on the game, improving, polishing, addressing feedback and fixing bugs.
Today we uploaded a new version and we also updated the trailer video showcasing the changes, here is a list of some of the things we've done:
New tiles design.
Updated backgrounds (moon, clouds, fog, lampposts and more).
New snakes and jellyfish enemies.
New spiders design.
Updated player's controls.
Updated blood particles and animations, it's even bloodier this time.
Improved underwater attacks.
Updated level design.
Bugs fixes and more...
We are still working on the official demo for the game, but that might take a while, in the meantime we are cooking another special release for Xmas, stay tuned for more updates, coming soon!
These “Terminal Cut” editions feature enhancements such as 4k gameplay, upscaled cinematics, better lighting, 4x anti-aliasing, and more. BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut are available for $14.99 USD, at a substantial discount during launch week, and are free for current owners of the original games on Steam and GOG.com.
“We were blown away by the fan response to the new Terminal Editions. Even after all these years, the BloodRayne community is still an incredibly vibrant group of fans, and we’re going to do everything we can to make them proud. Thank you,” said Wade Rosen, President of Ziggurat Interactive.
Both Terminal Cut editions feature:
Goodbye Jaggies: Thanks to improved rendering, these versions of BloodRayne run with up to 4x anti-aliasing
Modern Resolution: The enhanced editions of BloodRayne support display resolutions up to 4K / 3840x2160
Improved Environmental Effects: Enjoy more immersive environments thanks to improved effects like reflections, water, fog, and shadows
Use Your Elite Controller: Modern controllers are now supported, thanks to the addition of XInput controller support.
New Language Support: Accessibility is important, and actually understanding the dialogue in a game does wonders for immersion. New localizations include: BloodRayne: Terminal Cut: Fully voiced with localized interfaces in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut: Fully voiced in English and Russian, plus localized interface and subtitles for French, German, Italian, and Spanish
...and Much More: Upscaled cinematic videos, lighting improvements, support for uncompressed original textures, and Windows 10 optimization ensure that these are the absolute best versions of both titles.
Originally released in 2002, BloodRayne follows the red-headed half-vampire, Rayne, as she travels around the world hunting Nazis. Players wield a variety of vampiric powers — and the infamous Twin Arm Blades — in thrilling, third-person combat. The sequel, BloodRayne 2, found the hungry heroine hunting down a vampiric cult set on world domination, using an expanded arsenal of weapons and abilities. The games spawned a theatrical film and a comic book series detailing Rayne’s life and exploits.
