Cyberpunk 2077 screenshot showing the character Johnny Cyberhand in a diner with his feet propped up on the table

The latest footage of shiny swearing simulator Cyberpunk 2077 is taken from the new Xboxes, but that hardly matters to an enlightened PC audience, does it?

Wait, come back! Keanu is in it a little bit! Phew. Thanks for returning. Yes, in this Night City Wire Special, Keanu Reeves reprises his classic role of ‘Keanu Reeves’ from the Keanu Reeves Hexalogy. There are no spoilers, as it’s more concerned with showing off the differences between the Xbox One X and the Xbox Series X. That might be to allay fears about the current generation of consoles after a recent investor call revealed that the latest delay was primarily down to the current gen builds needing additional development time.

A photo of the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card

AMD have been on a real winning streak this month with the recent launch of their Ryzen 5000 CPUs, and now they’re hoping to follow it up with the launch of their first set of ray tracing-enabled [cms-block] graphics cards, the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT. Utilising AMD’s new RDNA 2 architecture, the RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT are both aiming for Nvidia’s equally new [cms-block] and [cms-block] GPUs, offering 4K 60fps performance in today’s biggest blockbuster games, and well in excess in that at 1440p and below to make the most of the ever-swelling ranks of high refresh rate displays.

However, despite coming out strong with their Ryzen 5000 CPUs, I can’t help but feel like AMD’s first batch of Big Navi cards could have done with a little more time in the oven, especially when it comes to that increasingly important graphics battleground of 2020: ray tracing.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Siege - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Imogen Beckhelling)

Rainbow Six Siege's Tachanka surrounded by flames holding a beefy LMG..

Yesterday, Rainbow Six Siege operator Tachanka threw his turret out the window, picked up an LMG and started running around blowing holes in walls and doors, all while yelling with a completely different voice. The Russian defender hasn’t gone mad mind you, he’s just had a major rework and come out the other side a new man – literally, because as well as new weapons and abilities, he’s got a new voice actor, too.

A photo of the Samsung C27RG gaming monitor.

Samsung’s 240Hz Odyssey monitors were some of the big ticket items of this year’s Amazon Prime Day, and it looks like they’ll be reprising their similarly big discounts for this year’s [cms-block] sales, too. Today, it’s the turn of Samsung’s C27RG (or to use its annoyingly chaotic full name, the LC27RG50FQUXEN), which has shed 23% off its usual price to hit a new all-time low of just £230.

Key art of the main character from Call Of The Sea.

Exploring a gorgeous remote tropical island is exactly the sort of thing I’d like to do after this long, long year. While I certainly won’t be jetting off to do this in person any time soon, at least I’ll have Call Of The Sea to let me live that fantasy when it comes out on December 8th.

You’ll have to wait a little bit longer if you want to go cave diving with your online BFFs and/or frenemies. Blitworks had hoped to have Spelunky 2’s online multiplayer working by now, but the connection problems that caused the mode to be removed from the game before launch have proven to be a tricky fix. They’ve just announced that they’re on track for a December release.

Best Cold War loadout & class guide

What is the best Call Of Duty: Cold War loadout? These sorts of questions are very hard to answer in games like Cold War, where not only do you have a wide variety of weapons, but each weapon can also be customised with five or eight out of several dozen attachments. The right weapon loadout can completely change the nature of a weapon, and it can be pretty daunting to try and figure out the best attachment combinations yourself. But fear not! Our Best Cold war loadout guide will walk you through some of the most powerful class setups for various top-tier weapons in Black Ops: Cold War so you can try them out for yourself.

I am simply a normal human. Wriggling on my belly, dragging my sole brain cell through the dirt in search of food while snakes watch with scientific curiosity. Soon, I will have many thoughts, but I’ve many sandwiches to eat and plenty of goblins to grow before that day comes. So goes Biodome II, the first of six bizarre short experiments released this week by LA indie collective Glitch City in a bundle full of human pinball, fire trains and massively multiplayer online cubes.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

finally lets our Guardians touch the darkness. But perhaps it shouldn’t have, because it’s gone and corrupted the game’s space wizards with the power to completely break any encounter Bungie throws at them. Ahead of the expansion’s first raid opening later this month, Warlocks have figured out how to use their stasis powers to instantly evaporate Destiny’s deadliest baddies.
