Alt254 - Santo

Hello, everyone!

It’s been a while since we last spoke but we’ve had a good reason: we’ve been hard at work on a new update to improve some aspects of Alt254’s gameplay as well as adding a series of quality-of-life improvements, like map annotations -- check out how cool they look:

We’ve been working with one goal in mind: to make the game as accessible as possible, so you can enjoy the minimalistic journey of Alt 254. So, without further ado, here’s a list of the new features that you will find in this new update, available tomorrow:

Map annotations: you can now put marks on the map to signal what you encounter along the way.
You can check what ground level you are in when the map shows up.
The UI has been revamped to give you visual cues when there's a secret passage nearby. We don't want to spoil the surprise -- but you'll notice when you see it!
Combat has received a general overhaul to make it fairer.
Also, you will be rewarded with HP when you defeat an enemy.
Enemies now only respawn after you die. They won’t do it when you reach a checkpoint.
A new system to evaluate the player’s needs has been implemented: now the Oracle shows more coherent and useful clues.
Some puzzles have been tweaked.
Several bugs have been fixed.

We are the Warcave

Black Legend - Warcave

Black Legend is developed by the talented and diverse team of Warcave, located in the charming city of Geel in Belgium.

When it comes to games, we search for only the most passionate individuals. Black Legend was born from such passion, where we aspired to share the historical and folkloric culture of our country with the world through beautiful, immersive gameplay.

To do so, we took this challenge very seriously, diving deep in all manners of resources, from visiting some of the most amazing historical locations right here in Belgium, to exploring museums in the Netherlands as well as jumping straight down the rabbit hole of 17th Century science, trade and arts.

As we continue to work on our project, we wish to leave you with a word of thanks for your continued support and interest in the game.

New Hangars

War Thunder - TheShaolinMonk

In the War Thunder “New Power” update you will meet new hangars for all vehicle types.

Let us take a closer look at them!

Ground vehicle hangar

War Thunder ground vehicles have moved from a tight repair workshop to a spacious military base located in a mountain valley. There is a lot of life here - mechanics have just finished work on preparing the vehicle for the battle, army trucks rush around elsewhere, free crews participate in training honing their shooting skills, overhead aircraft fly over. In closed hangars vehicles from your collection wait their turn. On the flatbed of a military transporter an armoured vehicle that has just arrived at the location waits for you to click on it to learn more about the novelty.

Aircraft hangar

Not too far from the ground forces there is a lot of activity for aircraft and helicopters. Mechanics discuss some technical issues, the weaponsmith checks the bombs in the warehouse and on the apron other player’s aircraft are parked.

Naval hangar

Player warships are located in the water of a wide bay near the military base. From here you can clearly see the bridge and cargo port of the seaside town. In addition to the currently selected naval vessel you will also see several other warships already researched by you as well as one of the premium ships that can be viewed in detail by clicking the mouse on them. Hydroplanes and flying boats will also be displayed here in the port area before battle.

Development news and new content

Valheim - IronLisa

Long time no see! We have sent out more BETA-keys, and the feedback we have received have been invaluable. Seeing how much our players enjoy Valheim so far motivates us to work even harder! Many new items have been added to the game, and exciting things are happening on the development front. Two of these exciting things are that we are working with a sound designer and a musician to elevate the experience of the game.

Halloween, or Harvest fest as vikings would call it, is upon us and to celebrate it we are testing your knowledge through riddles on twitter. The first 50 people who pleases Odin by giving correct answers to all three riddles will receive one BETA-key each. New features and content

New armor: Padded armor

Protect yourself from enemies in this full padded armor (try to not get distracted by how cool you look).

New armor: Lox cape

Winter is nearing and it’s getting colder. This lox cape gives you cold resistance, and is perfect for cold and harsh weather.

Armor update: Added Linen colours

More colours have been added to the linen cape we revealed last month.

New Hairstyles and beards

With this hair-raising update we have increased the customization options with several beards and hairstyles.

New boss: Yagluth

We have created a whole new boss for you to fight if you feel brave enough. To save you from nightmares we won’t show a picture of him, but here is his guardian stone, consider it a sneak peek.

New enemy: Deathsquito

The only thing scarier than a mosquito is a deathsquito. You will definitely hear it coming, but are you fast enough to see it before it strikes?

New enemy: Fuling shaman

Fulings now have shamans roaming in their villages. They will charge at you with spells, so watch out!

New food: Fishwraps, Barley wine, Lox meat pie & Blood pudding

These new foodstuffs will all keep your stomach full, and although not all of them look very appetizing, they all come with their own pros.

New material: Needle

Looted from deathsquitos and big enough to use for weapon crafting.

New material: Black metal

A brutal material for brutal DIY crafts.

New Weapons: Black metal atgeir, black metal axe, black metal sword and black metal knife

What better way is there to signal that you are fearless than wielding these black metal weapons as you slay your enemies.

New weapon: Porcupine mace

This mace is made using deathsquito needles, talk about weaponizing your worst fears.

Miscellaneous Updates

Valkyrie overhaul

We gave the valkyrie a fresh new look by updating her model and textures. What do you think?

Hugin and Munin overhaul

Of course we couldn’t neglect Odin’s companions, they’ve received updated looks as well.

Sunken crypts overhaul

Not only birds deserve overhauls, so do crypts! We pretty much remade our sunken crypts from scratch, doesn’t it look creepy?

Darker skin

Darker shades for skin colour have now been added to the character creation.

Dream text

Your character will now dream when sleeping. But do you think a viking dreams about?

・Information about the "Fatigued State" has been added to TIPS.

・The entry for the "Retry Gauge" has been updated. (Japanese, Chinese (Traditional), and Korean only)

[Bug Fixes]

・An issue with the "status effect received" sound effect when equipping an item with a permanent status has been fixed.

・An issue where, when in lower Medius and while equipped with a permanent status item, the effect for Lv 2 and up Cure Ailment would not display correctly has been fixed.

・An issue with the Poison Bandit where, when changing weapons after locking on to an enemy, the stats of the previous weapon would still be applied to lock-on attacks has been fixed.

・An issue where, when equipping items at the inn, the sort order of White Candy + was incorrect has been fixed.
