  • Added support for overriding right click tool-tip. When you have windows open the right click on items in the inventory can now override it's default behavior. This is currently added to vendors,trade and crafting. So if you want to add crafting materials simply right click the material to add it to the first empty slot.
  • Added support for trading with other players.
  • A few emotes have been added for initial testing. Type /emote in local chat to list them.
  • Added a VERY experimental DLSS support for NVidia cards that support this feature. Currently this will sometimes show a watermark on the screen we have checked with NVidia and they are OK with us using this DLL for the alpha test for testing purposes.
  • Added Poleswords to weapon crafting.

Changes:

  • Weapon crafting balance updates.
  • The player is now allowed to attack again directly after a successful hit, without waiting for the whole animation to finish.
  • Attacks now have four stages instead of three. Previously [charge, hold, release]. Now [charge, hold, release, recovery].
  • The player is now allowed to attack again when entering the recovery stage.
  • All weapon animations updated to support new melee combat setup, resulting in a slight change in feel.
  • Added longer blend times between attacks to improve fluidity.
  • Daggers no longer have handle Tracing.
  • Crafting buttons are now held until one item is created then released and held again for the next item.
  • Logout timers will now cancel upon taking damage.
  • Updated a bunch of tool-tips.
  • Splitting stacks are now a bit prettier.
  • Increased the high latency kick threshold.
  • Improved lighting setup in paperdoll.
  • Improved lighting in login screen to remove green tint.
  • Improved loading screen transitions.
  • Updated light intensity at night.
  • Cloud light intensity updated.
  • Updated the moon texture.
  • High quality models and textures are now forced in the crafting preview.
  • Stacking items now correctly add to the stack you drop on instead of the one your are holding.
  • Removed the swing animation turn slowdown, it's now just affected by the normal turn cap.

Fixes:

  • Fixed landscape "wires into the sky" that could sometimes be visible at certain angles.
  • Fixed lots of random landscape issues! (Please keep reporting them)
  • Crafting now more correctly decides what items goes into what slot.
  • Fixed a rare crash on the server.
  • Fixed a couple of rare client crash.
  • Enabled temporal anti-aliasing in paperdoll if it is enabled in settings.
  • Fixed wonky walking animations.
  • Players no longer occasionally sink into the ground after jumping.
  • Spear no longer attaches to a hip-harness instead of a torso-harness when naked.
  • Paperdoll no longer renders on begin play, reducing performance without being visible.
  • Meshes no longer flicker or disappear in the crafting window.
  • Weapon no longer stays in character creation after deleting the previous character.
  • Paperdoll no longer gets out of sync with the player appearance. (some parts would not show properly)
  • Hair no longer casts shadow while hidden under helmet in the paperdoll.
  • Animation now re-targets properly on females in resurrection sequence.
  • Cancel animation (when feinting) now plays at its proper speed. (it was previously too slow)
  • The idle sequence for first person is fixed again. It had regressed to the third person variant with too much camera sway.
  • Loading screen now covers the whole screen. (a thin border of the background was previously visible)
  • Game no longer crashes randomly when returning to main menu after logout.
  • Possible fix for issues with sound being set to 0 upon login.
  • Durability on items should now correctly update in the tool-tips.

We are going to restart the servers to implements our hotfix.
This includes bugfixes and improvement related to the Patch 3.8

  • Changed the backpack slots for all variants in Survival.
  • Fixed the destroyed vehicle model of the Racer.

  • Fixed a crash related to the vehicle system.
  • Added more protection against right and left-peak character animations.
  • Fixed a UI crash.
  • Fixed a UI bug on the playerlist.
  • Reworked the Wood Shield Barricade.

A Game of Humans - ScionStudios
The first major patch for a A Game of Humans is finally here. A big thank you goes out to all those of you who have participated. Your feedback has been invaluable.


Game log
The game log displays messages for the player in the lower right part of the screen. This is used for everything from announcements to tutorial messages.


Floating text
A system has been added that allows for the displaying of information above characters. This is used liberally to display what is going on in your citizens lives such.


Women
The ruggedness of the male settlers appear to have attracted females.


Opinions
Characters form a limited amount of relationships with others. Extroverts will have more relationships that introverts (relationship as is knows of, not the romantic version). How well they get along depends on their personalities.


Political views
Based on their personalities people will believe in different things and vote accordingly.


Townhall
Once a townhall plot has been placed and a building has been constructed on it you can hold elections by placing a ballot box in the townhall.


Mayor
The Mayor forms the backbone of the administration, settings laws and hiring tax collectors.


Elections
People discuss and vote for their favorite candidates. When deciding they care about their opinion of the candidate, the candidates popularity, similarity of political views (laws) and people are less likely to vote for the current Mayor if they are unhappy.


Laws
The Mayor sets the laws and there are currently two of them; Working hours law (labor laws) and tax rates. The Mayor sets them according to his/her political views.


Taxes
Taxes are wealth based. At most once per day, a tax collector can and will collect taxes from each person, taking x% of the persons coins. The percentage is decided by the tax rate. All tax collectors will keep part of the taxes for themselves. Less honest tax collectors might keep more.


Distance popups
When selecting plots, various distance information is now shown.
If you select a home somebody owns, shows the distance to that person work.
If you select a workplace somebody owns, shows the distance to that persons home.
If you select a home nobody owns, shows the distance to all non occupied work plots.
If you select a workplace nobody owns, shows the distance to all non occupied home plots.
The text turns red if it is too far away to be eligible.


Stability
Going public in June was equal parts exciting and terrifying. Some things went well and some not so well. All should now be well in the realm.

Rebalanced values of items, plots and objects
With the upcoming tax collector the player will make money by taxing their citizens. Such a change prompted a rebalance, generally lowering numbers.

Reliefs The Time of the Lemures - Calepin Studio


Hello everyone!

I had a lot of feedback from the players who had some tutorial and gameplay issues. (Too difficult, some game systems very complex, ...)
So I decided to change my work priority, the version 0.3.10 will therefore be delayed (end of the tutorial area and the level 1).
I will be working on version 0.3.02 of the game in order to fix many of these issues.
This version will be available at the end of this month.



Gameplay :
- The wall jumping system will be simplified and a lot of restrictions will be removed.
For example, you no longer have to obtain a certain speed to jump on a wall.

- The climbing system will also be simplified. The player will no longer have to jump from ledge to ledge to climb.
You will simply move with the directional keys in order to climb, go left or right and go down.

- The character's collision will be reviewed in order to prevent the character from blocking into walls.

- The torch and the spear will be easier to interchange, you will no longer have to put away one to take out the other.


Tutorial :
- Simplification of the tutorial, the texts will be changed by the icons of the keys when is possible and the size of the texts will be more larger.

- The tutorial area will be completely redone in order to more easily support the player in learning the game and to make the tutorial less difficult.


Miscellaneous :
- Significant modification of graphics, smoothing of vegetation, parallax map for many textures, modification of colors, ....

- Added new high definition rock to make the cliffs more realistic.

- Addition or modification of many other objects in order to simplify the tutorial and increase the performance of the game.


This intermediate update will be important and will greatly improve the quality of the game.

Note that the challenge has multiple parts - what you are seeing right now above is the first part of the challenge. By achieving the tiers described above you will make sure that the reward linked to the tier will be unlocked but also you will receive additional tiers of the challenge making it possible to reach even better rewards!





The challenge is starting right now and it will last until the game is released in Early Access - 4th November. The results will be given on the very next day!
