Developers ClockStone and publishers Headup Games revealed Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead today at Gamescom Opening Night Live, with a live-action teaser trailer and so little else that the Steam store page just has screenshots from the production of that teaser trailer. Cliff notes are: it has bridge construction, it has zombies, and those zombies are the same ones that have been troubling Andrew Lincoln and his son Coral for all these years.

Medal Of Honor: Above And Beyond

got a new story trailer at tonight’s Gamescom Opening Night Live and despite the gritty WW2 subject matter, it looks pretty fun. Coming from Respawn Entertainment, the makers of Apex Legends, Above And Beyond will revive EA’s shooter series in VR. It’ll place players into the boots of an Office of Strategic Services agent who’s dropped behind German lines to do some cool sneaky things. Check out the trailer below, which has some crafty secret passageways, and whomping a Gestapo officer on the head with a bust.

For all the fancy shooting and whimsical adventures offered up during tonight’s Opening Night Live showcase, Teardown‘s appearance reminds us that sometimes it’s just fun to take a hammer to a brick wall. Launching later this year, the smash ‘n’ grab heist game from Tuxedo Labs has returned with a new trailer. It might only be a minute and a half long, but blimey, I could watch these buildings crumble for hours.

Bungie today revealed more of the new elemental powers we will get to wield in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Stasis (it’s ice). Thanks to us getting chummy with the forces of Darkness, every class will get a new Stasis subclass in the expansion, with brand new abilities. Yup, some chill. Sure, some freeze. And oh heck yes, some shatter.

To war, once again. Following beta skirmishes earlier this year, Age Of Empires 3: Definitive Edition is almost ready to roll into battle. Firing a new trailer into tonight’s Opening Night Live showcase, the spruced-up strategy showed off the new modes, new factions and touched-up battlefields that we’ll be marching through come October 15th.

Remember that time loop game 12 Minutes? It’s the one where a couple are hanging out in their dimly-lit apartment, reliving a rather unpleasant home invasion over and over again. Cheery game. Well, it turns out that home invader is played by none other than Willem Dafoe, the wife is played by Daisy Ridley, and the husband is played by James McAvoy. What a cast! Developers Mediatonic today gave a small peek at what’s to come and yeah, it looks like more Fall Guys – which the main thing Fall Guys needs, really, just more of itself.

The newest game pack for The Sims 4 has been officially revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live, and it is the Star War. The Sims 4 Star Wars (TM): Journey To Batuu is coming out on September 8th, just over a week from today, and will allow your Sims to just, like, go to a Star Wars planet and see the Millennium Falcon and everything.

There’s a fairly extensive look at all this in the new trailer, which also appears to show someone getting arrested for asking a Stormtrooper out on a date. Play stupid games, as they say. Importantly, it is confirmed that you can create both your own lightsaber and droid.

A new trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons is coming in hotter than a tauntaun’s guts, fresh out of Gamescom Opening Night Live. It shows more of the story campaign, which’ll have us playing on flying for both the Empire and New Republic, seeing two sides of a weird time in Star Wars history. That ‘weird time’ being before shortly after Palpatine died but a good few years before they discovered actually he was fine and his clones were sewing their wild oats across the galaxy and… welp. Here, watch the new Squadrons trailer and I promise it will remind you of none of that.
