Okay, this took longer than I wished, but I needed a couple of weeks of just painting backgrounds to recover from the burnout that was releasing the 2020 DEMO.

After seeing some people struggling to get through the second part of the demo, I thought it would be a good idea to take back the old demo's hint system and adapt it into the new one.

So how does the system work?

I don’t like boring hint systems that outright tell what the solution is, so this one has little tweak:

If you choose to enable the HINTS in the menu, you’ll find a very special item in your inventory: An overpowered Fortune Cookie (1st half of the demo)… or a Hint Phone (2nd Half).

Every time you use it, a clue in the form of a vague cryptic prediction will appear inside.



Hint Phone

Every time you use it, you'll make a call to your mysterious partner. He'll tell you about his whereabouts and what he's up to while he waits for you… which are of course subtle hints about what you should do to solve a puzzle.





(So yeah… you’ll have to use you brain in order to advance anyway!)
If you have many fronts open, it’s possible that the same hint will be repeated once or twice. If that happens, just keep insisting until you see a different one.

But please try to play without hints unless you get too stuck, okay…? That’s kind of the fun.

TOSS!🍌 - Agera Games
The bananas are loose!
  • Scattered across the TOSS!🍌 Closed Alpha levels are ten (10) hidden bananas.
  • Your objective is to work together as a community to find each and every one of them.
  • However, only one banana is visible at a time. You can't find all of them right away.
  • It's not until someone in the community has screenshoted/recorded and posted footage of the currently visible banana to Twitter using the hashtag #TossVR that the next banana will unlock.

Steam Broadcast
Joining us to broadcast the event is our good friend LarveyOfficial. Watch it live through Steam Broadcast, Twitch and in the #toss-livestream channel on Discord. Larvey will start streaming half an hour before the event and keep going for as long as he feels like!

How do we play?
  1. Get on the Discord server and start strategizing (optional but fun)
  2. Wait until the event begins, then update your game to make sure you're on the 🍌-version. Can't see the update? Try restarting Steam!
  3. Start exploring! The bananas could be just about anywhere, but they do follow two simple rules: they're never inside of a wall and they don't require any sort of glitching to get to.
  4. If you do find a banana, go take a screenshot or record a video of it and post it to Twitter using the hashtag #TossVR
  5. Well done, you just unlocked the next banana for the whole community!
  6. Wait for the devs to publish a new 🍌-version of the game, then update the game again to be able to see the next banana
  7. Keep going bananas! 🍌
The easiest way to stay updated on the event progress is through our Discord server, which you're very welcome to join. We're super friendly!

What do we get?
If the TOSS!🍌 community manages to find all of the hidden bananas, we will unlock an extra level for the rest of the Closed Alpha Weekend (which ends at the same time as this event does).

The level we've chosen (as seen below) has been requested a lot on our Discord server, and you will find it at the end of the EXPERIMENTAL chapter if you manage to unlock it. And don't worry, the speedrunning timer will still only be active from The First One to The Twisting One so this doesn't affect the speedrunning leaderboards. ⏲🐵

More importantly, you get to have a lot of fun playing and interacting with the TOSS!🍌 community!

- Improve Now the Third Person Reload animations time (that take play the whole animation) match with the First Person weapons reload time

Dead of Night - Blowfelt
It's been a while...

A lot has been happening in the world these past few months, and fortunately having a little time off has let me have a proper look at Dead of Night in ages.

There's a huge bug relating to the sword that was a left over from before the second town was added, which can lead to issues with completing the game and receiving achievements. If you stick to the quest of getting your sword back and dont travel across the river there should be no issues with unlocking achievements and completing the game properly. But still, this needs fixed.

The main game is getting an update that combines the two towns into one map. The HUD is also getting a remodel to open up the playfield a lot more. The time limit with every night is going to be adjusted (longer). Re-jig the script and combine the gold and the sword stories and also have the ability to have different languages. And other little quality of life improvements in a lot of other ways.






Work has started, but there's still plenty to do so I have no time frame as to when it will be finished.

The mini game however...







During lock down, i thought it would be a good idea to get into a small game that would help me get back into coding again, so i thought about remaking Eat-Em-Up mode as a free stand alone game!

The graphics have been given a huge re-vamp with the help of Jonathan Temples; graphic designer, artists for such c64 games as CJ's Elephant Antics and Nobby the Aardvark, and overall bloody good guy!

Still a bit to do, so stay tuned!
