Bum Simulator - Ragged Games
Bum Simulator will enter Early Access soon!

We still have a lot of things that we would like to add to the project, but it is pretty obvious that you're tired of waiting.

That's why we finished a big standalone segment of the game and sent it out to our QA team for final testing. We still have to fix whatever they report, but as soon as we know how many bugs we are dealing with, we will announce the release date!

What will you get in the early access?
  • 90% of the functionality in place,
  • Complete Bumsville map to explore,
  • A big chunk of the main storyline,
  • Alcohol Alchemy with multiple craftable potions to aid you on your quest,
  • Multiple Pigeon Skills to wreak havoc on poor civilians and your rival bum gang,

  • Lots of trash to rummage through in the search for food and drink.

Creating such a big and complex project was a huge challenge for our small team, but we are more than happy with the result, and we are sure that you will enjoy it as well!

Here's a complete list of all the new keyboard controls:
  • Page up or mouse scroll wheel up: raises the price in a negotiation (= blue button with arrow up)
  • Page down or mouse scroll wheel down: lowers the price in a negotiation (= blue button with arrow down)
  • Enter: confirms the negotiation (= green "confirm deal" button)
  • Delete: rejects the negotiation (= red "no deal" button)
  • Esc or Right Mouse Button: closes last opened window or notebook

- Fixed "Invite or join party" text that was displaying on top of group members
- Floor mod display value should always report the current value for everyone

The Coeval Magazine posts the Interview with game designer of Sanatorium "Anthropocene Retreat" Mikhail Maksimov.

How would you silhouette or summarise this project and the concept behind it?

- Consolation, care, inevitability.

Can you outline the game plot for us?

- Yes, sure. The SAR game examines the development of anti-anthropocentric philosophical concepts from the perspective of the classical «vergilian» road movie. The key utopian concepts of antihumanism, posthumanism, transhumanism, and technological singularity as well as the doctrines of Haraway, Latour, and Land are introduced in a magical fantasy performance where the protagonist undergoes a sequence of transformations resulting from his interactions with the other main characters. The gameplay is based on the fluid identity of the protagonist. His settings are not defined and are subject to change in function of the interactions with non-player characters. Incidentally, the game, through the temporality of the storyline, determines an answer to a vital question of the last decade: what is the exact date of the beginning of Anthropocene? That is, the epoch of significant human impact on Earth. The dating is highly speculative.

Here's a full list of the things, that will work better from now:

  • Safety Zone fixes at all maps
  • Fixed various bugs with elevator in Crash Zone level.
  • Fix for the blocker occurring when player load game in the beginning of Crash Zone level.
  • Fixed ability to exploit basketball machine by moving ball up and down while holding it.
  • Fixed issue with the teleporter on UFO that made screen go black.
  • Fixed axe and shovel not displaying properly after switching between those tools
  • Making BackPack widget move when you collect security cards, so you can read the subtitles
  • Fixed issue of tools not displaying after loading the game on Bid Wars map
  • Checked, if player already didn't finished the achievements for those who finished them before the achievement fixes.

CUSTOMIZER CONTEST HIGHLIGHTS
We've concluded the ninth Bioroid Customizer Contest and we have a newcomer in the podium spots! ecoclone  is our repeating champion once again with another unique modded bioroid in the Phaedric series. This time with Phaedra-style mecha grenade launcher "PaedraticGrenadier" in first place. Newcomer Straylight took second and third place spots with Soviet soldier "Boris" and one of  the Beatles own, "Ringo". Congrats to all the winners!

The race has begun once again! Be sure to share your submissions on social media to collect as many votes as possible and to win a 3D print of your own bioroid!





HEROGRINDER DESIGN: THE LAB
Our goal is to feature as many types of arenas and styles in our level designs as possible to create great variety. We are designing 3D models of all our assets - walls, tiles, and objects. All assets can be damaged and destroyed, used as cover, most can be moved around and some can be switched on and off for an effect. The objective was to create objects that not only fit into the cyberpunk aesthetic of the game but offer a tactical element as well. 

We have added the lab arena style (samples pictured below) to the base arena style sets and have started working on yet another style - the Wasteland.

The base arena styles are now:

Singular Networks expands to 12 new territories



The officially licensed media platform of the Church of Singularity soon expands into new terroritories, including the Pan-European Union, the Pacific Rim and the Russian Transcontinental Federation on the NHM Network. The television's top show "prA.I.se" skyrocketed last year, when telereverend Father Gabriel raised 109 million GU in under an hour. Father Gabriel promised to provide a safe place for the followers' consciousness in an event of the Singularity Rapture which is certainly approaching. The Singular TV subscription fees are yet to be determined for these new territories.

What is behind the alarming future? The crater of the Great Old Ones, an ominous void, readjustment of senses in favour of today’s stars, electronic extensions of human functions or the good old ancient Logos, no less terrible for that? 👺

Sanatorium Anthropocene Retreat tackles all of these questions, and Nikolay Smirnov, curator and geographer, is going to offer his take on the answers during the public Let’s Play event.

July 2020 Build Challenge

For July 2020 the new Build Challenge is to build a Safari Ride!
This is one of the new rides from the Taste of Adventure expansion, but everyone is able to participate in this build challenge, whether you own the expansion or not.
The top submissions get included in the next game update as default blueprints, and additionally the winners will also receive a key for Taste of Adventure!
