Weapons
New Weapon: Zapper (Secondary)
  • Fires a bouncing ball which zaps nearby enemies up to 20 times. Slows down while within zap range of enemies. Replaces Ball Lightning.
New Weapon: Chainsaw (Primary)
  • Hovering sawblade which attaches to an enemy and saws it until dead.
Homing missiles
  • Lock-on angle reduced
Energy costs
  • Energy-resource removed from the game.
  • Energy pickups changed to smaller ammo pickups.
Lasers:
  • Sound and visuals updated a bit
  • Quadual laser bullet speed increased to match other laser weapons, added small move speed reduction while firing.


Player
Level-up rewards:
  • Max energy bonuses replaced with some ammo/hp bonuses
  • Added new weapons as rewards.
Controls:
  • Movement controls in the outside map view now match regular move controls much closer.
  • Added a bit of roll/bank while rotating sideways. Weapons roll slightly more for effect.
  • Added separate configurable axis for continuous roll.
  • Added setting to toggle auto-leveling (aligning ship with nearby walls)
  • Added compass orb which describes your current orientation. Can be toggled from settings.
Resources:
  • Shield & ammo pickup sounds changed.
  • Resources can no longer get reduced after changing level.
  • Health is also fully restored on level change.
HUD
  • Crosshair updated
  • Resource bars updated
  • Weapon texts moved to right corner
  • Distance text removed
  • Added option to hide HUD overlay lines thing


Levels
Rising Heat (New level): Escape a flood of rising lava while fighting waves of enemies.

Edges: Modified model for more bulky glowy edges, especially in the white areas. Also reduced brightness of some glowy materials.

Redball: Added red energy tubes from the red area. Minor other changes.

Guide paths: The moving thingy is now colored when player has key and gray otherwise. Also slightly updated textures.

Path mesh: Fixed a couple of issues with 3D path mesh UV mapping. Some of them look slightly different.


Enemies
Hit/death effects
  • Enemies now have a red flash effect on hit. More damage equals stronger effect.
  • Removed the little fiery effect on hit.
  • Updated death sequence effects.
Melee Plasma Exploder: Added a short-range dodge/spin behaviour + changed movement trails

Blue Homer: Added a dodge behaviour where they spin 360. Also changed trail to 2 continuous lines.

Scouts
  • Green scout movement behaviour is now more like the weaker scouts, so they move around more.
  • Adjusted behaviors so they turn differently during long moves.
  • Changed movement trails to use continuous lines instead of particles.
  • Green scout area light reduced


Bugfixes
Fixed map creation issue where some objects were duplicated.

Fixed issue where enemy AI would try to move to positions out of LoS

Fixed issue where the map sonar ping looked janky if player rotated while it was expanding.

Fixed issue with some enemy weapons if going out of sight after they started firing charge-up.

Small reactor turret: missing weapon rotation limit direction fixed

Game wise the games center island works/spawns in the main game and i am now modifing it to work with the AI and set up spawners etc for it.

Once done this will be the main world for now until i can hire performance people to make it run smoother and add more.

We are glad to present you Chiappa Triple Threat - a new weapon for Medics that will appear in Warface after the next update. It is the first three-barrelled gun in the game; and it isn't the only surprising feature the Chiappa Triple Threat has. High damage and excellent rate of fire, good hip fire accuracy and decent effective range will definitely interest the choosiest Meds!

CHIAPPA TRIPLE THREAT

The Chiappa Triple Threat is a break-action arm presented by the Italian manufacturer Chiappa Firearms in 2012. The producer chose an unusual way to increase the fire power of a classic double-barrelled shotgun by mounting a third barrel on top of two horizontally positioned ones. The barrels are 470 mm long and form an almost equilateral triangle when cut.



The Chiappa Triple Threat has yet another remarkable feature — a removable wooden buttstock, thanks to which in one easy motion you can turn it into a legal sawn-off shotgun. A super-compact size and mind-blowing firepower make the Chiappa Triple Threat an ideal weapon for self-defense in confined spaces.

WEAPON IN GAME

The Chiappa Triple Threat is a new semi-automatic Medic weapon that offers high damage, excellent rate of fire, good hip fire accuracy and decent effective range. Moreover, the gun deals equal damage to the body and to the extremeties. However, since it is a break-action shotgun, you can fire it only three times before having to reload it. In terms of gameplay, the Chiappa Triple Threat resembles the so much favoured Christmas Gingerbread Gun.



Apart from a sleek aspect, the golden version of the weapon will boast increased effective range.

The unusual barrel configuration makes it impossible to use standard barrel attachments. That’s why the Triple Threat comes equipped with a unique flame suppressor that reduces the damage drop but increases spread. Thus, you will be able to decide what weapon specs are most essential and useful for you in each combat situation.

- Stun Hit's additional attack input timing has been moved to the point the attack finishes hitting
- Dash Attack's launch angle will now be the same regardless of when the attack registers as a hit

- Fixed the bug with dash automatically activating if you hold down your direction key after evading
- Dash Attack and LMB + LMB + RMB attack's Chase Attack will now activate at the 1st hit instead of 2nd hit

Revamp
• Basic Control Revamp

- Blow System
o Sword Taliah, Blazing Fist, Dual Soul, Sacred Guardian, and Ruler of Darkness will now be able to utilize this system.
o Ground and Aerial LMB combo's last hit will now apply the Blow status to the attacked enemy. This system will make it easier to follow up on your combo after your final LMB hit.

- Pause Commands Input Method removed
o Pause Commands for Sword Taliah, Dance of Wind, Diabolic Witch, Blazing Fist, Dual Soul and Sacred Guardian will no longer require the pause. You can now simply hold down LMB to execute these commands

- Command Attacks will no longer consume stamina

- Combo Limit Gauge function added
o When you are attacked continuously in a combo, your combo limit gauge will start to increase and once it fills up 100%, emergency dodge will be activated. Emergency Dodge will let you escape from a combo by knocking you out of it.

- Accumulated Combo Damage Reduction function added
o When the combo damage accumulates to a certain number, damage that is delivered after that point will be decreased.

• Rage Skill Revamp
- Rage Skill's animation is simplified and revamped

Improvement
• Deathmatch Mode Improvement
- As players were getting higher in rank, more players were participating in playing passive and doing a hit and run.
- Deathmatch will no longer have a countdown for match end and instead a team must reach a certain kill count in order to win
- Deathmatch's objective score increased from 5 to 10
- A forcefield will be added to deathmatch that will slowly decrease in size as time passes.
This will stop most players from playing passively until time runs out and Breakers will become more useful.

• Conquest & Capture The Flag Mode Improvement
- Conquest and CTF will now provide scores for slaying your enemy, meaning the role of Slayers will matter a bit more in these two modes.
Which should also deter away from teams having the same score and making the match longer.
- Conquest & CTF will now provide score for slaying enemies
o CTF: Score Objective - 500 (30 Pts per Kill | 100 Pts per Flag Capture)
o Conquest: Score Objective - 500 (30 Pts per Kill | 1 Pts per 1 Sec of Capture)

• Improving Penalty for Canceling Matchmaking (Force Shutdown)
- Force Closing the game while in the ready phase of choosing Karma will be considered Match Canceling
- Match canceling multiple times will now apply matchmaking penalty and decrease in ratings
