The Witcher® 3: Wild Hunt - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alan Martin)

If you haven’t finally cracked into The Witcher 3 after three months of lockdown, perhaps you never will. Still, this latest offer from GOG might make you rethink, as from now until June 23rd, they’re giving away free GOG copies of the game to anybody who’s bought it on other platforms, such as Steam, Epic Games Store and Origin – even PS4 and Xbox One copies are eligible. Best of all, your save file and achievements will transfer over, too.

Valorant ReviewValorant

is great, but it’s sorely lacking a mode where you get to make a number go up. Riot’s guns ‘n’ wizards FPS launched two weeks ago, but the developers have held off on adding a ranked mode until non-beta players had a chance to find their feet. Not for much longer, though – Valorant game director Joe Ziegler has announced that ranked mode will “likely be out some time next week”.

Samsung 860 Evo - Best gaming SSD

SSD prices have largely remained the same this week, although sadly the uniform price cut for one of last week’s top SSD deals, the WD Black SN750, has reverted to its old price again. There are a couple of exceptions (it’s a good time to buy a 1TB model in the US), but WD SSD deals hunters will be mostly disappointed this week. Still, there are plenty of other great SSD deals around, making it the perfect time to upgrade your PC with one of our best [cms-block] recommendations.

This week in SSD deals land, the main pick is for UK buyers looking for a 250GB or 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, which both get a decent discount via that excellent Currys Ebay voucher doing the rounds. That’s not all, though. Below, you’ll also find a range of SSD deals in all sorts of size capacities and form factors. Whether you’re looking for the best SATA SSD deals or the biggest savings on today’s super fast NVMe SSDs and portable SSDs, here are the cheapest SSD deals of the week.

I somehow missed the fact that Treachery In Beatdown City has its own full length theme, and it is the greatest thing that has ever happened.

Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Colm Ahern)

There aren’t enough heist-focused video games. You’d think the ludicrous success of Grand Theft Auto V would’ve led to more Ocean’s inspired capers, but no. Where are all my Nespresso-drinking, salt and pepper hair-having protagonists? At least the spirit of Clooney and Friends can be found in Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine.

As one bundle ends, another begins. Humble Bundle today launched their Fight For Racial Justice Bundle, raising money for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward, and The Bail Project. For $30 you can get 50-ish games including Spelunky, Kerbal Space Program, Baba Is You, Jackbox Party Pack 4, Hyper Light Drifter, NBA 2K20, and Football Manager 2020. It’s impressive. Humble’s publishing arm also today revealed more of their plans for The Black Game Developer Fund, aiming to spend $1 million a year supporting Black devs.

Desperados III - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

The rootin’, tootin’, squad-based tactical shooting that is Desperados 3 finally launched today, reviving the Commandos-esque noughties series created by Spellbound Entertainment. It’s been placed in great hands: Minimi, the makers of Shadow Tactics, and our Desperados 3 review from Commandos devotee Tim Stone declares Desperados 3 “every bit as brilliant” as Shadow Tactics. So, that’s good. It has a demo too.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Siege - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

Two new Operators arrived in Rainbow Six Siege today, the wall-busting attacker Ace and enemy-slowing defender Melusi. The latest update, Operation Steel Wave is go go go and brings a rework of the House map too. One of the new Operators uses water gadget to punch holes in walls, and the other has machines that’ll shout at your enemies. Come meet them.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

Of all the reasons not to release a new game during this busy notE3 period, surely the greatest is that I simply do not have time to play Hardspace: Shipbreaker right now. Launched into early access today by Homeworld 3 developers Blackbird Interactive, it’s a first-person sim about carefully cutting up spaceships to sell salvage. Blackbird, do you have any idea how many showcase streams I need to watch for work this week? Outrageous. But you, reader dear, maybe you have the time to blast off.
