We have listened to your opinions about permadeath and, following our April's poll results, we have added a new game mode to Song of Horror!
Introducing E.T.A. Hoffmann
Named after the famous gothic author, E.T.A. Hoffmann is a new difficulty option where there is no permadeath. In this mode, players can choose another character or re-start from the last checkpoint when a character dies. The Presence will also have the same difficulty level as MR James.
Now that we are closer than ever to the Final Episode, we feel it's the perfect moment to enjoy Episodes 1 through 4 in E.T.A. Hoffmann, to make sure your favorite characters reach the end!
About Permadeath in Song of Horror
Song of Horror was designed to be a challenging, scary experience where permadeath is essential. We want you to feel the true fear and pressure of losing a character forever, that every action you take has a meaningful impact, that mistakes have real consequences... But also, that these consequences promote changing characters and experiencing Song of Horror from different perspectives.
However, we understand that every player is different. Some of you wanted to enjoy the story and gameplay of Song of Horror without permadeath getting in your way.
We recommend playing Song of Horror with permadeath for the first time... But, if the game was inaccessible to you due to this mechanic, we hope that the E.T.A Hoffmann difficulty will allow you to still enjoy it!

Progress
Ok, what's the current progress of the game? In about 1 month + - we will have a playable Alpha ready to go. After that, fast Q&A and we'll set up a Kickstarter campaign. It will also be the moment when you gonna have a chance to get access to the cheaper version of the game & Alpha Keys.

Based on feedback from our community, instead of charging 74.99 USD for all the Episodes, it was determined it was best to drop the price to 14.99 USD during Early Access, for only Episode 1, as the success of EP1 will determine if there will be future episodes.
This is more of a pre-alpha Pilot episode, and with the help of the community, we can make it really rock, and continue to release and support future episodic content, and eventually PVP and MMO(This price may change in the future)

[Character Controller] - Adding the "HoloBoard", go faster while traveling using a unique holographic hoverboard! - Changing the Moveset of Two Handed Weapons and Knifes.
[IA & Bosses] - Adding a new IA. The Corrupted Samurais. An armored Sakana knight working for Night Knight. They stole swords from the Sakana Guard and they don't want to let you alive. - Adding Glitsch Fight trigger. - Batsu Amusement Park isn't finish, but you will be able to fight Glitsch if you complete the challenges that are already in the scene.
[Night Knight] - Improving NightKnight's Den, adding IA and improving effects when hacking some computers. - Adding Supreme fight before NightKnight V2 in order to get the last relica. (It can't be earned yet)
In one of the Zone places the Hunters discovered a large cluster of mutants, which will soon pose a huge threat to the hunter camp in the Tunguska swamps. Requests for help were sent to all stalkers of the Zone.
31.05.2020, from 15:00 to 17:00 (by Moscow time), clear the Zone from the usual (not rare, not "killers") mutant jellies. Any help is appreciated anywhere in the Zone, however, the hunters report that they saw jellies at the Tunguska location, D4 square, and the near swamps.
To get points you need to hunt mutants, whose killing brings you more than 5 EXP.
To win shoot most jelly mutants in the allotted time.
Rewards:
1 place: Vepr-12 Shotgun 2 place: Cynologist Suit (S-Camo) (without timer) 3 place: Box of Humanitarian Aid - 10 pcs.
Any stalker from main servers (RU, PvP, PvE), who get into top-30 and defeat more than 10 jellies, will receive 20 A-Zone pins.
