The Academy of Fire graduation went out of control. After receiving the coveted diplomas, Students and Pyromancers have summoned hordes of Infernals. They burn crops and rob people. One should give these presumptuous young wizards a lesson. For this the King appointed a worthy reward.
The battle of elves and orcs over the Eternal Forest is continuing. Having repelled several massive attacks, the elves have faced a new disaster. Goblin brewmasters have prepared a miracle potion and gave it to the distraught orcs, whose strength got doubled. It's high time to help elves. Forest defenders will not be indebted. Every hero will get a valuable gift.
Elves' victory was so close when Orc leaders sent heavy reinforcements to the Eternal Forest approaches. Hordes of distraught ancient trees and ogres push elven army remnants to a cliff. The elf prince is asking for urgent help from his allies.
An ancient forest protector awoke in the woods. Ent restores his health every turn and can cause a lot of trouble to your enemies during the final battle. He will join your army if you are lucky.
We're pleased to announce that we have another update ready to test for you all. This update reworks our little friends, the seagulls!
We noticed from all the feedback that seagulls weren't that helpful yet and decided to change that. Starting this update seagulls aren't an alternative drifter anymore. Instead they now are little helpers that will collect resources for you, if you decide to take care of them.
Freeing them from the landmarks on which they are in distress will have them join your community. Building a Birdhouse and filling it with raw fish will motivate them to automatically collect flotsam for you, freeing up your drifters for other tasks.
We invite you all to test this update and find any issues before we upload it to the main branch.

This patch is still in development and can be tested on the experimental branch to give feedback.
This is how you can enable the experimental branch of Flotsam. This will only work when you're not in a game: 1. Open Steam Library 2. Right click Flotsam 3. Select Properties 4. Go to tab 'Betas' at the top. 5. Select 'Experimental' in the drop-down.

I am still putting all of the finishing touches on survivor mode over the next couple of weeks but I thought I would share a little video of the work in progress for the mountain bike that I am working on adding to The Coin Game.
It's a full suspension mountain bike. Its not as fast as the golf cart but it is free from Uncle Phil. Its has some more audio and physics tweaks to go on it but I thought it was to a point that I was comfortable sharing.
In the coming update you will be able to ride wheelies, bunny hops, front wheel stoppies/endo's and even ghost ride it into things around the island. I actually built this bike a year ago and have been saving it on a old dusty hard drive just for this day. I think adding it worked out really well and I am working as fast as I can to bring it all to you very soon.

Its easy to ride with a keyboard WASD setup and even more fun to ride with a Dual Stick controller. I spent way too many hours cruising around the island when I should have been testing. lol.
Survivor Mode is the next update coming to The Coin Game. In this new mode users will be challenged to earn their own money (instead of rich Uncle Phil spoiling you on your birthday) by working odd jobs around the island and being creative to earn money.
Today at 19:00 MSK the following changes will take place to the new servers:
The number of rounds required to win in TDS mode has been reduced from 7 to 5
The time to deactivate the beacon in TDS mode has been increased from 45 to 60 seconds on all maps, and from 60 to 70 seconds on the Depot map.
In DM, TE, TDS modes, the time of respawn after death is reduced
