Alongside its Aftermath expansion next week, Mortal Kombat 11 is getting something a lot snugglier. Friendships are koming back to offset all the killing by way of selfies, xylophones, sand castles, and motorcycles. You know, friend stuff. The friendship finishers are coming as a free update for MK11 next week but NetherRealm are showing off a peek at them in a new trailer today.

Rainbow Six Siege

‘s year 5 plans are marching along. Season 2 for the year is officially titled Operation Steel Wave and as promised it’s bringing two new operators and a rework for the House map. Ubisoft gave a look at Ace the medic and Melusi the tracker and their new gadgets during a reveal livestream today. Both are joining the roster with Steel Wave on the test servers tomorrow.

Good news for anyone on the lookout for a new 240Hz gaming screen, as monitor maker AOC have announced they’ve got five of them coming out over the next couple of months. There’s a mix of curved and flat monitors to be found in AOC’s new batch of super high refresh rate gaming monitors, as well as screen sizes ranging from 24in all the way up to 32in, so there should be something for pretty much everyone. The only problem is that their confusing new naming conventions mean at least one person is almost certainly going to order the wrong screen unless they double and triple check they’ve bought the right one – or, indeed, read this handy explainer.

Whenever I return to Red Dead Redemption 2, I find myself wanting to be released from the shackles of Rockstar’s design. Much like the Van der Linde gang, I’m looking for a place of my own, one that’s free from the concerns and constraints imposed by The Man. So I turn to mods, where I can make the west wild again.

Disney Interactive shut down the kiddie MMO back in 2017 but fan clones have lived on. The unofficial Club Penguin Online is now going offline after it was found to be full of explicit messages ranging from racism to “e-sex” as reported by the BBC.
