Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG - Stormtrooper
Welcome, our Employees and first settlers! CRONUS Weekly is with you again.
This week we expose vandalism, talk about new residential modules interior design options, and also share the details of the international conference in which CRONUS took part.
Best Interior Design Poll
The cooperation of designers and engineers of the corporation allows us to constantly improve the quality of life and work under the Dome. Our workspaces have already undergone sufficient change, and now it is time for residential compartments.
We seek to make the Dome your new home. Therefore, it is up to you to decide on how the living quarters and recreation areas will look. So right now you can cast your vote for a favorite option using your working terminal.
Corporate executives are concerned with the increasing incidence of vandalism. The perpetrators mutilated corporate posters by obscene and offensive inscriptions. The damaged canvas adorned the area and created a pleasant working and recreational atmosphere. An opinion on propaganda component of this decor is erroneous and far-fetched.
The corporation management is forced to refute any speculations about class discrimination. Even an Orange has equal rights with the manager from the Silver Wing or the military from the Black one.
Note: from now on, Black Wing employees are allowed to use weapons and conduct searches without warning, if there’s any suspicion of a crime or of a threat to the safety of CRONUS property.
CRONUS Took Part in the Digital Dragons International Exhibition
Attracting new employees is the most important goal of CRONUS public campaign. Right now, our best specialists are taking part in the Digital Dragons international exhibition. We strive not only to attract the most qualified personnel, but also to win The Best Company of the Festival award. CRONUS has repeatedly proved that research conducted under the Dome should be a priority for all of mankind. This is the only way we can build a bright future for everyone. Supporting the corporation is every employee’s duty – for the benefit of humanity.
Encased community is the most important for us - we are going to follow up those closely for your feedback on the game.

Battle of Alesia - the last mission of the first Act in campaign
Enemy AI battle logic was improved
Defenders now choose a position better
Now you can hire defenders on any flag (not only in castles)
Gold Per Minute (GPM) of flags now are shown on the map
Team Upgrades were rebalanced
Auras of standards were rebalanced
Testudo bug was fixed (player was running while missile weapon is active instead of slow moving)
Another fix for "not ending" matches. The match does not end if there is one enemy unit stuck somewhere on the map. So there is a new system of finding and killing these bad units
Empty text alert was fixed
Greek swordsman (upgraded unit) gets only good helmet now
The important thing of this update is about hiring defenders on any flags (not only in castles). It affects AI logic and possible strategies for the player. So matches will become different.
I want to test this feature and decide if it is good for the game. So I need your feedback. What do you think about this change?
I believe I fixed the issue with game saves as mentioned in the previous post. For some transparency, it seems that the game would save at the end of the loading process but before the data would be initialized. This save would also happen right after the start of the in-game day causing it to save the new day number. This would explain why every time you loaded your save, it would be the next day. For example it's day 5, you exit then you load and it's now day 6, you load again and now it's day 7. Hopefully this was the issue. I did many many MANY test to try and replicate the issue but it seems to work correctly each time. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that your save will still load if the information had been saved over. You can try and load the game, but I do apologize if there are any errors. But a new game save should not run into these problems. If there are any more issues, please let me know in the forums.
Removing Nibiru: Prologue from the Steam store. We are removing Nibiru: Prologue from the Steam store. Those who already have the game on their account, it will remain. You can find it at any time in your library.
first of all we would like to apologize for the lack of communication. We did not handle the situation very well. We (neal and i) made village feud as a fun project, with no prior experience of developing real games. we finished the project in 6 months of on and off developing and when everything was as good as we could make it our friends and family told us to share it on steam. not thinking anything of it we uploaded it to steam and we tought maybe 10 people would even see it.
The first night we had 9 sales (including friends and family), hooray, that was way more then we expected. most liked the game how it was and some had suggestions. We tried to fulfill every suggestion. but the suggestions came faster then we could fix things. the suggestions were also all about game features, but after a solid 2 weeks of trying to add things we came to the conclusion that we promised to much.. next to that prettymuch every thing in the game was made verry inafficient and to fix that we would pretty much do the entire game over. So we promised to much new features while the entire game shouldve been fixed first. we got kind of scared because we werent able to deliver what we promised. the discord made us really anxious. So this game started out as a fun project which developed into a unfinished game, but we were still really proud and everyone encouraged us to put it on steam. after finishing the game we didnt have any motivation left, after all we tought it was done. but then suggestions came rolling in and we didnt want to dissapoint.
As you might have guessed were not continuing to develop this game (since we'll have to start from scratch). 2 months ago we found new motivation to develop again, but as of now it wont be village feud 2. In the furture we will probably make a more improved version of our original idea but we havent started yet.
thanks a lot for trying our game, if you have any questions please ask them in our discord.

When still working on a larger update that comes with many new amazing tools for election campaigning, including election districts and gerrymandering, we wanted to add the game already one new feature that was originally developed for the larger update. That feature is a whole-new election system, namely the first-past-the-post!
This new election system broadens the selection of different election systems and therefore gives you even more choices for your games! We hope you like it.
