Sea of Thieves: 2024 Edition - MrJordanAP

Ahoy, Steam users! We wanted to address some questions that we have seen asked since we announced in April that Sea of Thieves will soon be coming to Steam. While we don’t have a locked-down release date to announce just yet, we hope you’ll find this useful in answering some of your other burning questions in the meantime!

Do I need an Xbox Live account to play?

To be able to play this game, users will need to sign in when prompted with an Xbox Live account. If you already play on Xbox Live or Windows 10, simply sign in with the account linked to your Xbox gamertag! If you need to set up an Xbox Live account, head over to https://www.xbox.com/live, click ‘Create an Account’ and follow the instructions. Please note that it is free to create an Xbox Live account, and playing Sea of Thieves on Steam will not require an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Do I have to be running Windows 10 to play?

Yes. For this game to work, users must be running the Windows 10 operating system.

Is the Steam version included in cross play?

Yes! Players will be able to crew up and play together regardless of which platform they’re on, so those already playing on Xbox One and Windows 10 will be able to play with friends on Steam.

Will game progress carry over to Steam?

Yes! Your ranks, cosmetics and currency will all be there after you sign into your Xbox Live account, meaning you’ll be able to pick up exactly where you left off. Previously earned achievements will automatically unlock on Steam too.

Will this game be locked to 30 frames per second?

No. FPS will be uncapped.

Do I get the game for free on Steam if I already own it?

No. Players on Xbox One and Windows 10 will not receive an entitlement to a free Steam copy. However, cross play breaks down barriers by enabling new Steam players to crew up easily with existing players on Xbox One and Windows 10.

Where do I activate in-game cosmetic/item codes?

To enter a code for an in-game cosmetic or other reward, go to https://redeem.microsoft.com, log in with your Microsoft account and type in the 25-digit code as instructed. Note that it’ll be unlocked on this account only, so make sure this is the same account you use to sign in to Sea of Thieves!

Will Sea of Thieves be available in my country/region?

This game will be purchasable in all countries where the Steam store is available, and the list of supported languages is being expanded for the Steam release. However, if your language is not supported, the game will default to English.

May 15th - Sakura Bonsho

Have you heard of the demon bell in the sakura garden? East wind whispers an ancient tale about its life-stealing tower. Time to enter the secret sakura garden and put it into good use. Open arena is back. So get your devil pass and join the fray to prove your killing skillz!

As you probably could have guess, we had to delay the third dungeon to next week since we wasted a lot of time optimising the server and doing many behind-the-door work. Good news is, there should be no more hic-hup which should reduce lag time by considerable amount. Anyhow we also add new yukata set to the event shop as an apology. They are really cool and hope you like it.

ps. Another important note is the new money type a.k.a.-'SILVER'. This will replace all copper money which will only be used in Arena to avoid confusion.

Patch Note v.645

- Added new free-for-all open arena, "Sakura Bonsho" which can be accessed from Steve in DemonSlum. (requires devil pass.)

- Added new arena reward sakura box. (You get one additional box every 4 kills.)

- Added Mini Koi pet as a sakura box special reward. (Add 15%wind-water protection and 7% evasion.)

- Added new yukata set to Event Shop. (It can be equipped by all demons.)

- Add new money type: 'silver' and replace all non-arena gui with it.

- Added new dedicate cpu thread to handle server network.

- Added new asset loader on client to reduce start-up loading time.

- Updated Iaron run-attack and jump-attack effect and sounds.

- Added new fog system which will replace most fogs in next patch.

Invasion Zero Major Update 1.09 Released!

Greetings Players,

We are proud to finally present our latest features and bug fixes free of charge, as usual.
Keep playing and reporting problems so we may fix them.

Please take note that we are a very small development team and take longer to produce fixes and create more features than larger game development studios.

You may notice a few issues with the voice chat, which will be fixed within the next few updates.
We are also planning on expanding our kill streak options to a canine attack dog.

Potions!

Castle Clamber - Mostly Hairless µC

The latest update for Castle Clamber is now live! Here's a summary of what's included:

New features:

New potion power ups with a variety of effects, each with its own advantage or disadvantage in different situations
More achievements
Updated background artwork
Revamped menus with full controller support
Analogue controller input now affects player movement
Multi-threaded map loader for buttery smooth transitions

Fixes:

Removed bbcode from news ticker
Prevent showing incorrect level time if no personal best found
Fix players sticking to crates when pushing them off the edge of a platform
Fix players falling through more than one floor when dropping through a platform and touching a wall
Fix being able to infinitely farm the Magic Hat for points
Game is paused automatically when opening the steam overlay
Game is paused automatically if a controller is disconnected
Game starts in full screen mode when running steam in big picture

The most notable addition is the new potions - these drop at random from defeated enemies or broken crates. Collect one by running over it, and it'll cast its spell for a limited time. Each colour potion has a different effect which can help (or hinder!) the player in a given situation. Keep an eye on the duration icon at the bottom of the screen to see when it runs out.

Also in this update is full controller support for Xbox controllers and direct input devices, thanks to the updated navigation control for the menus. Now you can easily enjoy Castle Clamber from the couch in big picture mode in Steam!
