I made some further adjustments to the way that the UI scaling works. These new changes should make things better for those with larger resolutions trying to read small text. I have also updated the layout and scaling with the Sandbox options, allowing for a less cluttered layout and easier to read descriptions of the available options.
I have added some error catching and reporting features into the game which will make it much easier for me to track down any of those pesky hard to find bugs. Not only will the game alert you that something went wrong, it will now create a small text file log that can be emailed to me (or posted on the forums) to allow for quick fixes. I wish I had done this much sooner.
I have completely revamped the drone stats, and they are no longer as weak as they were before. In addition to the drone balancing, I have also tweaked all the carriers to make use of the new DRONE ship specials. This makes carriers very special when it comes to drones. There are currently 6 bonus attributes that can be accessed when building new carrier ships.
A few small QoL enhancements, the most notable being the mouse over of the stat icons to show the actual values of your shields, armor, etc...

I spent a LOT of time on the AI this week, I wanted to bring it to a point where you could actualy fight it.
Mechanics:
AI based changes: The AI can now: -manage it's happieness and taxes -manage it's market -recruit worker units if they die -recruit military units (it has a defender army and an attacker army) -use the blacksmith -open and close gates -spawn and use its king (only for attacking for now) -If the AIs king dies he respawns at the graveyard if there is one -If the AIs king dies and he has no graveyard, the AI will be destroyed -The AI has now skills (like the player) depending on the difficulty -The player can no longer see the resources needed from the AI
-The AI's information is now saved as an json file for easy modding
Other changes: -The camera in the angled view will now rotate by 90° when pressing ctrl
Bugfixes:
-The player could not pause when an AI was in the battle -If you had no villagers the plague could not go away -The player was not able to "jump" with the camera to his position in the angled view -Builders have now a second way to detect if they got stuck
Next week I will update the lobby with some UI that you can select the AI and the difficulty of that AI. As well as some more improving of the AI: -AI attacking spawners if in the same team as the player, at the moment it will only try to attack the player -Making the AI attack units that are inside of its castle -making the AI rotate its castle towards the player -Test with multiple AIs -Test with multiple players -Making the AI able to upgrade houses and removing builders -Fixing some bugs tha AI has

Latency Variation : Your latency is fluctuating inconsistently, which will cause intermittent lag (see High Latency)
High Latency : The time it takes for data to travel between you and the server is high. Also referred to as a high "ping", and results in lag.
Packet Loss : Higher packet loss means more data is being lost between you and the server.
BATTLEMODE Balance Changes
Note from the Devs: Another week of awesome matches in BATTLEMODE. We are hard at work on an upcoming patch that covers a wider scope of features and performance updates – more on that in a later post.
This week’s balance update looks to address some balance issues for demons with Shield abilities with a continued focus on consoles.
Starting with the Marauder, this is one of our most popular demons and we are proud of that fact, clearly he’s working well in the mode. BATTLEMODE is all about “tactical aggression”, it’s not a game of “pushing” all the time but knowing when to push, utilizing a combination of your attacks as a demon to trap and burn down the more agile and powerful Slayer. The Marauder’s current kit doesn’t really emphasize the “tactical” part of the experience as much it could. He is a pressure unit by design but there is not as much strategy behind when to pressure the Slayer currently. We hope the mitigation to his shield values related to his Wolf attack will encourage players to think more before they push the Slayer in battle. This will vary the pacing in the experience for everyone and bring more strategy to this pressure unit’s kit. (Details below)
As always, we will be tracking the results of these changes as they come in and respond accordingly. BATTLEMODE is all about DRAMA/PACING/STRATEGY – these weekly balance changes are meant to reinforce these core design principals and address any exploits across all platforms.
Thank you again for playing and providing us with your feedback. See you in the ARENA.
-Hugo Martin, Game Director

First of all, many thanks to everyone who bought the game today! This is just the beginning of over a year of planned additions and updates to the game, and I'm grateful that there's been such an impressive show of interest in the Steam release.
Based on testing and feedback from players today I've just pushed version 4.0.2 to Steam. I released 4.0.1 sneakily earlier in the day, just to fix some obvious and easy display bugs, and to enable a small bootlog that is exported to the ArmCom2 directory in your user folder.

As we mentioned before, we will be focusing on models and animation previews and sneak peaks going forward as we work towards the 0.9 Game Update for Day of Dragons.
In the video below, we share a sneak peak of the "First Five" Beawesome Games-made models which will all be appearing in Game Update 0.9. The models seen in the video are their rough proxy versions which are being used to make the rigs and animation cycles, the actual LOD's of the models will be shown later along with their UV's and Textures. A two meter tall mannequin is used for scale reference. The old Fire Wyvern Marketplace Dragon is also shown for scale reference. All of the current marketplace dragons (Fire Wyvern, Fire Dragon, Plasma Dragon, Buff Dragon) will be removed from the game as of the upcoming 0.9 Game Update.
Cell to Singularity - Evolution Never Ends - lunch
Hi Cellular Cadets,
We are rolling out a new patch. The big feature is cross platform transfer. For a while players have been requesting the ability to transfer there steam game to their phones and vice versa. This was no simple feature as it required a bit of complicated server programming, but we did it!
At the moment you can create an account on your steam game, unfortunately you'll have to join one of the phone beta to also access that feature on your phone, so it's a bit complicated to test at the moment.
1.-Game Transfer: -Create an Account and upload your game data to the cloud. -Try to Recover your game data back from the cloud and if you are playing in another device try log in with you account info and download the data from the cloud. -If you are playing in another language besides english, Please check if there is any missing text on any dialogue boxes. -If you are playing on STEAM, please make sure that when typing your account information, you do not trigger any dev hotkeys. (If this happens, please let me know)
2.-Universe Reboots -If you can, please perform at least 2 reboots and check if you are able to track your metabits countdown. Recently we fixed an issue where the metabits weren't properly shown on the Simulation Statistics
3.-International Space Station: This used to auto buy the moment you bough 100 Information Ages.
4.-Background Music: -Recently we lowered the music volume on android by 20%. Is still too loud? Please let us know. If you have questions, suggestions or you encounter a problem, feel free to leave a message to
- Cross play transfer system in the options. Note you need to - Ammonideas Trait cards effect discription change to relate to "Fossil Tap" and not "All dinosours" - T-Rex cutscene rerecored audio fixed wireframe shader not working correctly in scene. - More icons updated in the main tree. - To avoid confusion Warm Climate card no longer display the card count and states "Prestige"
Leave any feed back as a commit or you can post it on the #beta in our discord channel.
