Test your wits, skills and strategies in a brand new competition being organised by La Taverne des Casus and Itachi on the EU West 1 server.
Commencing Friday 15th May, the Conqueror’s Blade Lockdown Tournament will gather 50 brave warriors, all hoping to beat the isolation blues by being the last one standing.
The rules are simple: create a new character on the EU West 1 server, select Maoyang as your starting region, reach level 20 and prepare yourself for a series of intense one-on-one duels. There are no restrictions on class or equipment, but if you exceed level 20, you will not be able to take part.
To enter:
Reach out to Alexandrosse#4931 or Itachi#6396 on our official Discord channel to register your interest. Entries will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the 50-player limit is reached.
Create a character on the EU West 1 server, select the Maoyang region, go to Anliang (the regional capital) and be sure not to go beyond level 20. If you do, you will not be able to participate.
Competitors are forbidden from using the healing skill (by default, the H key). Any player seen using this ability during a fight will be disqualified.
Basic rules of fair play and decency apply: no foul language, insults, provocations or otherwise toxic behaviour will be tolerated and may result in a forfeit and further sanctions.
The prizes:
1st place: Dark Reaper Collector’s Pack
2nd place: Desert Master Collector’s Pack
3rd place: 2200 Sovereigns
For those that can’t participate but still wish to experience the thrill of the fight, both La Taverne des Casus and Itachi will be streaming the whole tournament. You can also watch from the sidelines in-game, but spectators must refrain from disrupting proceedings!
Be aware that the Lockdown Tournament is not being organised or administered by MY.GAMES. Any queries or concerns in relation to participation and adjudication should be directed at the organisers, who have kindly offered their time to ensure a fun and fair time for all.
Causa, Voices of the Dusk - Causa, Voices of the Dusk
Hey! We’re glad to announce our strategy-packed collectible card game Causa, Voices of the Dusk will be released on Steam Early Access on May 26th. Here's the Early Access Launch Trailer:
With the Early Access release, we enter a phase of development that is meant to intensely cooperate with the players. The Early Access version includes almost all major features that will be in the full release version, but as with every multiplayer game with live-ops, there’s much balancing, refining and polishing yet to be done.
We have created the game so far with only our love for the genre as a guidance. We’re a small team – now we need you to take the next step. Only together we can tap the full potential of Causa!
While waiting for May 26th, be sure to subscribe on the official Causa website. Subscribers will be offered special discounts and promo codes.
In case you’re a media representative or content creator interested in previewing the game before it goes live, you may find the complete press kit HERE, and also contact us directly, or via Keymailer or Woovit to request keys. We’d be happy to assist you!
Gamedec is currently showcased at Digital Dragons Indie Celebration! An event organized on Steam by Kraków Technology Park, Valve, and Walkabout Games!
We're encouraging you to enter the Community Vote and make sure Gamedec gets its share. 😉
The aim of this event is to support smaller studios from around the world, which during the pandemic, lost the opportunity to present their games at trade fairs and stationary events for gamers.
Indie Celebration starts on May 13th at 15.00 CEST. The event lasts until Friday, at 19.00 CEST.
Over 150 indie games from all over the world have entered the competition. The jury consisting of foreign journalists and Polish developers, selected 50 gems that qualified for the event. Gamedec is one of those games. What's more, we've been highlighted as DIGITAL DRAGONS CHOICE and have a chance to win the Community Vote prize!
COMMUNITY VOTE
For three days of the event, a Community Vote is held. Viewers and Steam users can vote for their favorite game from the final 50.
The vote lasts until May 15th until 17:00. Show your support and vote for Gamedec! Thank you!
If you'd like to talk with our team members, want to ask a question to the Author of the Gamedecverse (Marcin S. Przybyłek) or chat with enthusiasts like you - join our Discord channel.
Deep Rock Galactic - Soren - Captain of Ghost Ship
Hello Miners!
It’s fantastic to finally be welcoming you all to Deep Rock Galactic 1.0!
This marks the end of more than two years of Early Access development and It has been an amazing journey! We could not have asked for a better community to have along for the ride. And, if you are a new player, rest assured that hard work in the mines awaits you, alongside high adventure, big guns, fancy beards, alien monsters ... and of course - all your fellow dwarven miners!
We are super, super excited to leave Early Access and seeing where the game will go from here. And fear not...we are far from done adding to DRG!
Rock And Stone!
With Love, The Ghost Ship Crew
--- 1.0 PATCH NOTES ---
SOUNDTRACK VOL. II
For the last year we have been working on a Vol. II of the soundtrack for DRG - and it is finally here - allowing you to mine, fight and groove to 14 completely new tracks of synthy, bassy goodness! Deep Rock Galactic needs to invest in some bigger speakers… NOW!
NEW PROMOTION TIERS
Believe it or not but now there are 3 more Tiers above Gold, for when you are promoting your dwarves: PLATINUM, DIAMOND, LEGENDARY! This is mainly a show-off thing for super veteran players who have been investing blood, sweat and a lot of time in Deep Rock Galactic. We salute you!
PRESTIGE ASSIGNMENTS
As you increase your Player Rank, you will get access to special Prestige Assignments. Completing them will reward you with full sets of Pickaxe parts, Armor skins and new Helmets. Prestige Assignments are unlocked at Player Rank 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 100.
A couple of months ago we were toying around with awarding you vanity on the promotion itself (some of you might have tested it on the Experimental build), but we were not totally happy with the system and have instead gone for an approach with unlocking Prestige Assignments based on your Player Rank.
BIOMES
Crystalline Caverns have gotten more crystal variations. It’s now crystal clear why it is called by that name!
