Alpha 8 comes as a smaller update focused on the Build Menu. We've spent a few weeks improving it and making it easier to use, easier to find facilities and utilizing different resolutions in a better way. It might take a little time to get accustomed to the new build menu, but once that happens you should notice it is great to use and allows for some quick building! =)



We've also worked hard on improving the translations, and we are starting to be confident they are shaping up very well. We will of course improve these with time as players spot issues and strings that are hard to understand.



We are preparing for the official Early Access release. We do not have a date yet, as we need to sort out some tasks and find a good window for the release all things considered, it could be before summer but it might end up being after the summer in fall as well. Once we are certain of a date we will announce it, so stay tuned for news on that =)

It's time to officially start the Truck World Cup 2020 in collaboration with Renault Trucks! After receiving more than 3100 entries to the competition inbox, select members from the SCS Software and Renault Trucks teams took on the daunting task of picking 32 entries to proceed into the next round.



This was by no means an easy task, as we sorted through thousands of different variations of Renault Trucks in accessorized with different custom paint jobs, modifications, and much more. We were overwhelmed by the staggering amount customizations made possible by talented modders from around the world.

So, who are the 32 participants, and what happens next? You can check the competition board, on which all these lucky players are already sorted into groups. Can you see your name/nickname there? Congratulations if you do! Want to see what screenshots were selected? Check out the video posted on our Instagram profile, Renault Trucks Instagram profile, or the dedicated Facebook page!



Every single participant will have to match against everyone in his base group, then two best of each group moves into 1/8 final rounds, from where winners move to 1/4 final rounds, then again winners gets to 1/2 final rounds and then, the grand final match between the two most successful participants will take place.

When these matches are going to happen? When you should be ready to vote for your favorite, or for yourself? See the full schedules of base groups matches below! Let’s have a look at some development progress in our game. This time we would like to show you one of our stadiums - City Park Stadium.



We thought about the place, where we can connect both city areas and some green space
That’s why we decided to put the stadium in City park.



What about the stadium size? It’s not the biggest object which you can find in game, however there might be a lot of work to do ( good luck Renovators! ). You can find there light reflectors and almost 8000 chairs to modify! (Chill, you can clean them faster than you expect).



We’re still working on one of the most interesting mechanics in the game - stadium machines. On screenshots you can find the mower - the vehicle you’ll use the most. Stadium Renovator offers you different upgrades to your vehicles depending on which one you need at the moment. We’ll get back to that one in next dev logs.



Stadium Renovator let us modify the area around the stadium. It is possible for us to move the ticket office to a different place. You can decide to locate it on the stadium or alternatively - on the parking space. Customization process is only limited by your imagination. Change stadium chairs and logos as you want to!

Dear players!

The world is now going through a really tough and challenging period of time. However, as you know, the online entertainment industry is booming. We are extremely proud and glad that our work can make your staying at home more pleasant. In the framework of the #PlayAtHomeStandUnited campaign, we have activated lots of bonuses and carried out numerous activities on various platforms. Meanwhile, the development team continued their unceasing work on many interesting events such as the Battle Pass “Gorgon”, the new “TOP GUN” season that will kick off in the near future, different competitions, heaps of activities in social networks and much more.

Today, we would like to tell you more about the work of our team and share with you difficulties and challenges we encountered when we started our work from home. In addition, we will take a quick peek at the game development plans we are currently implementing.

The first and the most predictable challenge is a cozy homely atmosphere that hardly has the right vibe for a concentrated work process. No doubt, many of you are housebound with your family members walking in pajamas, while you are making a video call, children who require constant attention, and pets - cats galloping across all kind of surfaces, dogs laying their cuddly paws on your lap or parrots stealing keyboard keys. We can easily relate to all of you. We also miss our friends and colleagues more than ever. However, we have successfully coped with distractions, managed to quickly streamline the workflow and got it up and running.

Technical issues posed the second challenge. Their fix was often beyond our reach since it did not depend on us; for example, increased Internet load, as lots of housebound people went online all at once causing technical problems to local Internet service providers. Our support team, in their turn, received increased amount of complaints dealing with high ping, connection and packet losses. If you have faced any technical issues, be sure to contact our support. They will thoroughly study the problem and help you fix it if it is possible.

We have already published the development roadmap for 2020 and a digest of an interview with the franchise producer that provided a more detailed overview of many points. We also try to issue a monthly game update as usual. By the way, the April update will soon go live!

One of the key mechanics the update will bring is a brand new crafting system. We have put together a separate article featuring answers to the most frequent questions on the topic. Be sure to check it out! We will carefully analyze your feedback on the new feature and once you get acquainted with the way it works, we will offer you a survey in order to gather your comments and suggestions. It will be extremely important for us. Your feedback will help us make crafting better and more convenient for you!

Apart from that, one of the upcoming updates will feature something really impressive and mind-blowing, though we cannot reveal the details yet. Keep your finger on the pulse of in-game activities – we will be dropping hints.

The development team goes on with their work with the synchronization and movement system. We will keep you updated and will inform you as soon as it is finished.

As we have already mentioned, you are in for yet another “TOP GUN” season. Moreover, various competitions will be held in social networks. Be sure to subscribe to our social platforms, so you do not miss anything.

It's the time of year where the Daru need help caring for this year's batch of eggs! Tend to your own egg and keep it content by sensing what it's in need of. Eggwarden Dolbu will certainly reward you for your assistance helping them during such a busy and important time!

After maintenance on April 30th, Ahnimar will be granted a Festival Period lasting until May 14th at 1 AM UTC where anyone Level 30+ can participate in daily quests for the Daru Festival. To get to Ahnimar, take the World Gate in Diamond Shores, Marianople, or Austera!

First, meet with Tarini in the Community Center to begin your task of assisting with the Daru's precious eggs in the Lotus Song Garden! After speaking with the Eggwarden Dolbu, take your Daru Egg Cradle for a spin through the Incubator, and tend to its every need in the Hatchery. A happy egg will take a 10-minute nap after which it can be returned to Dolbu where you will be rewarded with Daru Festival Coins to exchange for various goods in Mirage Isle! Neglectful egg-sitters beware: after 10 hours, these Egg Cradles will expire.

And there's plenty more to do after you've nurtured your egg! Assist the Daru further by constructing more incubators, protect the eggs from the Skyfins who are threatening to crash the festival, and search for treasure 3x per day for Ian!

Doing your part and assisting the Daru can contribute to 16 event-related achievements. If you're lucky enough to get an Astra-Blessed Egg, you'll be rewarded with an Astra-Blessed Crate, a shiny new title, and a Mini Egg Cradle for your house.
