Shady Lewd Kart - Shades
Hey peeps wanted to touch base as we are at the end of the month! Don't forget if you want your rewards, demos and tier gifts make sure you keep your Patreon pledge details up to date.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting us. It has been scary to get this far as now we are growing every day. And with the release of Shady Lewd Kart I was able to at long last cut myself a paycheck. Yeah...Ive never paid myself so it felt nice to at long last get paid for the work we have been doing.

We are implementing in the Detour Driving School Mechanic. Been working on it all week. Just needs voice work and rewards system and you are all good to go to test it out! Its honestly very exciting that Kart keeps growing. The in game events really showed us we need to keep doing these to drum up more hype and eyes on people.

New videos are coming. I filmed over 15 new reviews and sketches and have over 30 interviews to put out. I know this year has been tough with content but hang tight. Working as fast as we can. The hardest part has been moving office. Getting settled in. And trying new things with videos. So I hope your ready for them!

NEW GAMES?
I have been for a while working on a few other games. Lewd Kart really took my full attention but now I can get back to things like Dirty Laundry and trying to do something with Okonomiyaki. Both projects went on hold for the powerhouse that is Kart. Meanwhile I have a B Team working on finishing up a new demo for a game we are working on. Something you wouldnt expect to be lewd. Its a cute little side projects and very keen to share it with you!

AND OF COURSE ME (Shades)
Ive been doing okay. Very burnt out. I decided this week while the team works I would take some time for myself. Not just to settle in but to enjoy my games room and life a little. Taking my time has never been a thing for me but health comes first. So I have cut a lot from my plate in order to relax more. Enjoy the content I make and the games Im making.

T-62M with Labor Day Items


The T-62M is an upgraded version of the Soviet T-62 Medium Tank. The main improvements include an applique armor kit with a typical turret-mounted “Illyich’s Eyebrows” composite strip, significantly improving the vehicle’s protection against HEAT projectiles and guided missiles. The T-62M could also fire guided missiles of its own, making it a truly deadly opponent. Despite being built as an upgrade to face modern western MBTs in Europe, the T-62M has seen active service only recently – in Syria. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.



In Armored Warfare, the T-62M is a Tier 4 Premium Main Battle Tank. Significantly tougher than the Tier 3 progression T-62, the T-62M can shrug off most hits from vehicles of the same Tier and aiming at weakspots is the only chance to penetrate it. On the other hand, the extra armor is quite heavy, reducing the tank’s mobility.

This tank is available in a Labor Day bundle that contains:
  • T-62M Tier 4 Premium MBT
  • 7 days of Premium Time
  • Labor Day 2020 decal
  • Crimson base paint

Altay


The Altay is the result of a Turkish program to build a true indigenous MBT. After a decade of development with hundreds of millions of dollars spent, Turkey finally achieved its goal and built a tank that is roughly on par in performance with decades-old Leopard 2 variants while it still uses many foreign components, including some of its most critical systems. Nevertheless, future Altay variants are expected to feature some cutting edge components.



In Armored Warfare, the Altay is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank based on the current prototypes, but also upgraded by various hypothetical aftermarket components of the future to surpass its current capabilities and to match its assigned Tier in power. The basic tank is – gameplay-wise – a mobile sniper, much like the Leopard 2 series, relying on its mobility and the penetration of its shells rather than on its armor. There are two key features to this tank: Adjustable Suspension (tilting forward and to the side) and Hybrid Engine with its distinctive electric sound, giving the vehicle excellent mobility and agility.

The Altay MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.






Sabre


The Sabre is an interesting British recon vehicle, assembled together from older Scorpion hulls and Fox turrets after both parts were brought to zero hour state (completely overhauled) by a company called Alvis. The resulting vehicle from the early 1990s was called Sabre and, considering it was made of decades old components, it worked fairly well as a scouting vehicle, participating in the Iraq War as well as in several peacekeeping missions. In Armored Warfare, the Tier 6 Sabre Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle is one of the deadliest vehicles on the battlefield thanks to its rather unique upward-aimed Swingfire missile launcher that allows it to fire over obstacles or while hidden, for example behind uneven terrain. While being quite difficult to master, this ability makes it a potent ambusher, especially in skilled hands.






Magach 7A


The Magach 7A is an early M60 series American tank, upgraded by the Israelis to meet the requirements of the 1990s battlefield, especially to combat the threat of anti-tank guided missiles that had started to find their way into the hands of various terrorist groups in the late 1980s. The most distinctive upgrade is its box-shaped extra turret armor. While well-protected, the tank was quite lethargic when it came to its mobility due to the use of its old engine, a shortcoming that was only corrected in the final evolution step of the Magach series, the Magach 7C. You can read more about it in a dedicated article.



In Armored Warfare, the Magach 7A is a Tier 6 Premium Main Battle Tank. With its excellent gun accuracy and aiming time values, the Magach 7A is a good sniper for its class and is perfectly suitable for those players, who want to experience long-range combat but who also want to keep some level of protection and survivability instead of completely relying on mobility and camouflage. It’s a rather sluggish vehicle, but more than a match for anything that it encounters on the battlefield.






M1134


The M1134 is an advanced missile Tank Destroyer based on the Stryker chassis, used in the U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams to enhance the unit’s firepower against enemy armor. While only lightly protected, its main strength light in the advanced model of the BGM-71 TOW missile launcher, allowing it to knock out practically every armored target it encounters on the battlefield.



In Armored Warfare, the M1134 is a Tier 8 Tank Destroyer. Its main and only weapon is the dual-shot missile launcher. As such, the vehicle is mostly defenseless at close ranges, but can take out any enemy it encounters at long distances thanks to its powerful guided missiles. Mastering it requires patient gameplay and clever use of cover, making it more suitable for experienced players.

Game Settings are in, tested and uploaded, Steam Achievements are almost ready, Files for Localization are being prepared, it looks like we're sticking to the roadmap and it's time to summarize a bit how it did go these first 3 months of Early Access.
First of all, we're still delighted that our Reviews rating is stable at 100% positives. We know, it will change at some point, it's unavoidable, but we got quite some shivers by reading very positive reviews of our work.



We've been working a lot on our feedback (and your bug reports too), and what we did focus the most is how to make sure all the parts of the game are fully enjoyable.
We think we found some minor weaknesses on the main campaign loop, and even though we already addressed them in several ways, that's what we wanna do next.



Recurring Riots.
Some of you told us that for the way they play, they would love to have a way to completely avoid an upcoming riot.
Even if to achieve that it might take more work than fighting the riot itself.
To address this, we are designing a system to negotiate and/or bribe a way out of a recurring riot. It won't be neither easy nor cheap, but it will provide you one more option on the table to better fit your gameplay.



Recurring Tributes.
In order to help balancing out resources in a flavorful way, we will be adding recurring Tributes to the Crown Prince. These will be large sums of gold and resources that need to be reached by a given turn. If you do reach them, they will be subtracted from your total, but you will receive a solid bonus in terms of morale of your troops, relations with the Crown and efficiency of your province assets. Failing to achieve the request, will leave you without resources left, with a very low morale and a drop in efficiency of your provinces (but hey, the Rebels will appreciate you more for that).
Failing to fullfill a certain number of tribute (we are still brainstorming on the amount, but 5 might be the target), will cause you to lose the game, while fullfilling them all continuously might provide cumulative bonuses.



The two above were not planned as features, and have been originated from your input and feedback. The other big ones coming, that were already in the roadmap, but that people di ask fairly often, are worth being remembered and are the following ones:
  • We are adding an instant-buy system with resources for province assets. It will be quite expensive, quite a few times it will be priceless to have it accessible!
  • We are adding a research queue. We know you want it, we know it's needed, we are gonna get it there so that you don't have to go back and forth from the research screen.
  • We're working on a HOMM-like province view and building screen with ALL the province assets, each with its three levels of upgrades. A delight for the eyes (check the preview pic)
  • Sandbox is getting a slow but large redesign, that will be adding some more sense of progression and some more tasks and objectives. We can't spoil more yet, and it will still take some time, but you will love it!

  • Increased the amount of reduced rebellious activity in case of high authority and high happiness

  • Now feedback reports (not just Bugs) provide us with more information and save files
  • Reduced by 20% the cost of Tier 1 technologies
  • Fixed a minor bug with pause (the game didn't unpause by clicking '>' )

  • In the latest key rebinding update, the Down and Right pan keys had been swapped. Now it's fixed.

0489.02.4
  • Default keys setup was mistankingly set to invert A and S for newly created settings files. Fixed. (Next update we will make them swappable without unassigning first)
  • Default windowed mode was set to True also while false for newly created settings files. Fixed.
  • Old settings file should now update the resolution correctly (only applied to settings files created before the 0489.02 update.

0849.02.5
  • Fixed a bug in which punishing the rebels after a riot applied to the wrong province (Life's not fair, you know)
  • Slightly increased the impact of Authority and Happines in the control of province Rebellious values
  • Increased the impact of Battle Modifiers (due to the difference between player Attack and Enemy defense) both positively and negatively
  • Slightly decreased the maximum increase in Rebellious activity per turn
  • Lowered the impact of night turns on Rebellious activity

本日「新規キャラクターを生成しようとすると、間欠的にエラーメッセージが出力してキャラクター生成ができない問題」に関する不具合が確認されましたので、ご案内いたします。問題を解決するために、下記の手順に従っていただきますようお願い申し上げます。


問題解決方法
1. ゲームファイルの整合性を確認
(1) Steamのライブラリで「Tree of Savior(Japanese Ver.)」のプロパティをクリック
(2)「Tree of Savior(Japanese Ver.)」のプロパティにあるローカルファイルで「ゲームファイルの整合性を確認...」をクリック
(3) 整合性を確認完了
※必ずSteamでの[自動アップデート]設定を”常にこのゲームを最新にする”と設定してください。
そうではない場合は、上記のようなバージョンが不一致になる現象が現れる主な原因となります。



また、上記の方法でも問題解決ができていない時の解決方法としては、クライアントを完全に削除したうえで再インストールを行ってください。

単にSteamでゲーム削除のみを行う場合は、一部のファイルが完全に削除されないことがありますので、以下の方法をお勧めいたします。
・クライアント完全削除方法
- Steamでゲーム削除を実施します。
- ゲームのインストール先フォルダから実際のファイルが完全に削除されたことを確認します。
もし、残っているなら、削除を実行してください。
- Steamの基本インストール先はProgram Files(x86)-Steam-steamapps-common-Tree of Savior(Japanese Ver.)であり、個人設定を変更していましたら、異なることがあります。
- 完全削除をしたら、ゲームを再インストールします。



このたび、同じ現象を経験された方は、上記の手順に従ってクライアントをアップデートしてから再度ご確認お願いいたします。もし、バージョンが一致しても問題が解決しない場合は、お問い合わせを通じて情報提供をお願いいたします。また、上記の手順を従ってもバージョンが一致しないのであれば、現在のクライアントバージョン情報を正確に記載してお送りいただければ、迅速な処理に役立ちます。

Hi folks,

Crazy, it's been a year since we released MarZ. A good occasion to let you hear from us again and to say THANK YOU!

MarZ Anniversary
How time flies. Our game has been available on Steam for over one year now. As you can imagine, the 4th of April 2019 was a super exciting day for us. We had worked towards this moment for over four years and really hoped if it would pay off. Today we can say we were rewarded.
The game did pretty well, especially for a small indie studio without any publisher. (Some of you might know that we run a two person family business, working as husband and wife team, - we should probably say two and a half as our little daughter was born this year.)
Since the release MarZ was featured several times on Steam and it was in the top 20 best selling games on Steam April 2019. This was of course achieved thanks to all of you who have supported us. You can’t imagine how nice it is to see that you people are enjoying the game we made. Thank you so much. We are really overjoyed to have you players on board.
If you want to make us even happier tell your friends. We are sure there are many others out there who don’t know MarZ and would love to play it.

We may have been a little quieter lately, but of course we weren't idle. As a big THANK YOU and to celebrate it's one year anniversary we've created this new and free update which introduces the survival mode.

Survival Mode
The survival mode is a new mode which is available in the skirmish game menu.
This new game mode let you fight against endless waves of enemies. The best thing about it, it also supports Steam leaderboards. So you can compare your high-scores globally or against your friends. Moreover leaderboards also works with custom workshop maps.
Beside of the new game mode we also did some bugfixes and performance optimizations.

Again, in this way we want to thank everyone who plays our game and supports our small two (and a half) person indie studio. Thank you so much!

AppGameKit Classic: Easy Game Development - Rick
Today we are releasing a new version of AppGameKit Classic with lots of updates and some new commands!

Here are the details of this all-new build:

3D
  • Fixed SetShadowCascades not applying the given values
  • Added FixCameraToObject command
  • Added GetCameraWorldX/Y/Z commands to get the world coordinates of cameras attached to objects
  • Fixed SetObjectReceiveShadow being set to 0 still overwriting object texture stages with shadow maps
2D Spriter support
  • Fixed a crash when running a Spriter animation that had a different number of keyframes per varying value
  • Spriter image pivots can now be animated
  • Spriter animations now support negative scales
  • Spriter files no longer need to have the same bone structure across all their animations
  • Numerous other small fixes to improve Spriter support
Networking
  • Fixed CopyNetworkMessage failing to copy messages that were not fully read

  • Updated Chartboost SDK to version 8.1.0 on iOS
  • Updated AmazonAds SDK to version 3.0.0 on iOS
  • Updated Firebase SDK to version 6.22.0 on iOS
Android
  • Updated Android to target API 29 as required by Google
  • Android apps resuming from background will now resume faster
Linux
  • Added clipboard support to the Linux version
Misc
  • Increase max local notifications to 100
  • Added an error if the Mod command is used with a divisor of 0 to avoid a crash
  • Added SetSoundDeviceMode for iOS to choose between exclusive audio allowing audio from background apps to continue
The AppGameKit Player app on the iOS and Google Play stores is now using the AppGameKit Studio version of the player. This new version is backwards compatible with AppGameKit Classic and we have no plans to introduce any changes that will break this compatibility. However, this does mean that apps broadcast to these players may behave slightly differently to apps which you export from the AppGameKit Classic IDE. Firstly, apps running on the new iOS player will be running on Metal instead of OpenGL ES, so performance may be different between exported and broadcast apps. There may also be differences in app behaviour if one version has bugs that aren't present in the other.
