Coming soon to NosTale – we’re switching our client to a new multilingual version. Learn the most important details about the new game client below.
Changes
Instead of having nine different game clients, one for each language, NosTale’s adventurers can all launch their favourite game from the same common client!
This multilingual version will include all NosTale languages. While it makes for a slightly larger download, this is outweighed by the benefits it brings.
Benefits
Players who play multiple language versions now only need one game client. Gone are the days of having to update each individual version separately: simply switch between game languages in the Gameforge Client or the Steam settings.
But that’s not all! We’re working on even more improvements:
Introducing a multilingual game client is only the first step. In future it will be possible to play on all servers in all languages with the new client – with the same account!
We also want to make it possible to merge the different versions into an international server. The client should also make it possible to play international events.
As you can see, we’ve got a lot up our sleeves and we can’t wait to roll out the next updates. As ever, we’ll keep you posted on the latest developments in our news.

The NosTale Team
FAQ: Multilingual Client
Here you can learn more about the multilingual client.
Why is NosTale getting a multilingual client?
The multilingual client is the first step towards international server merges.
What will happen to my accounts and characters?
Don’t worry, nothing will change about your accounts and characters.
Can I use the multilingual client to play on a different server than my chosen language (e.g. on a Polish server in English)?
In future we certainly plan to make it possible to play on other servers than your chosen language, however this isn’t possible at the moment. The language chosen in the Gameforge Client determines which servers you can join. For example, if your Gameforge Client is set to English, you can only play on UK/US servers.More details regarding these changes will be announced once we’re closer to releasing them.
Do I need to select the server and language every time I log in?
No, there will be no change here. The language chosen and saved in the Gameforge Client still determines which server you play on.
How much space does the multilingual game client require?
The installation size will increase from 4.8 GB to around 5.8 GB, however the download is smaller as the files are compressed during transfer.

We'd like to thank you all for the continued support through our projects! We'd like to announce that The Test 2 is nearly finished and releasing this month on April 27th, 2020! We've read each and every single comment and review left for us and we've incorporated your feedback into the making of The Test 2, known as, "The Test: Hypothesis Rising."
We've also begun developing multiple other projects, including The Horoscope 2 and a few others, which will all lead into something major that we have planned, (And also the main usage and purpose of everyone's secret words.)
We like the conspiracy theories behind the usage of the secret words we use in our games, but so far no one has figured out what we're doing with them, which adds an element of fun for us as everyone attempts to decipher what's going on! All we can say is, we want to make sure that those who participate are GLAD they took the leap of faith and participated, and those who missed out will feel really foolish. That's our goal, to make FEELINGS happen. That's why we at Randumb studios don't create games... We create experiences! 😊
At the minimum so far, what we've done is added in thousands of names into our credits for those who have participated thus far, and those who continue to participate up until the release of The Test: Hypothesis rising, though any who participate in the future will also have their names in the credits of future games and current projects we're working on. We feel like this is the LEAST we can do to show our appreciation for your support and make sure that no matter how big or small of a role that each individual plays, each person individually gets recognition for making the effort, forever!
Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for following us on this journey and making everything happen! We're excited to work on the final part of The Test trilogy with a third and final installment, and ultimate reveal, as time goes on.
We have some exciting news to share with you! Read about our plans below.
First and foremost we would like to thank you for continued support and amazing feedback we receive from you, especially on our Discord server. For those who weren’t following the development too closely - we want to assure you that Occupy Mars: The Game is in active development, and every day we are getting closer to the release.
As stated in the previous devlog 3 weeks ago, due to Coronavirus situation, we had to adjust to a new reality and switch to remote work. We will continue to work in this distributed mode for the foreseeable future until the global situation resolves. The virus mixed up our plans and development schedule but we believe the health of our team is more important.
Since the computers in our office are now not used we decided to join the fight and installed Folding@Home on many office machines to help find the cure for the Virus while we work from the safety of our homes. We’ve also created a Pyramid Games Folding Team so you can follow our progress here.
We are slowly ramping up the development again and we will use this additional time to make the game even better. We are currently focussing on improving the game’s performance, improving the UI and tutorial missions, adding translations and fixing bugs.
We know you can’t wait for Occupy Mars and we want to give it to you as fast as possible, especially due to the fact that most of you are stuck at home. That’s why we’ve decided to prepare a Free Demo / Beta version of Occupy Mars allowing you to test game mechanics and help us catch bugs before the reveal of our big game. Your feedback will help us polish the game and also test our recently finished dedicated Workshop Bugerporting System (WBS).
Let’s put out some fires in the beta version together ːsteamhappyː
The Free Demo / Beta version of Occupy Mars will be available as soon as we get approval from our Publisher and Steamworks. The beta will release first to our most active Discord members and then slowly to more and more people. We don’t want to announce exact days anymore as there are too many variables at play in these difficult times.
Stay safe, stay strong and help us make Occupy Mars the best Mars game possible!

P.S. also remember to follow Rover Mechanic Simulator if you haven't already, as our second team is working on the Curiosity Update which will add the big rover and many additional hours of gameplay.
Taking advantage of today's International Day of the Opposition to GMO's we would like to invite everyone for a discussion about Human Farm - we want to talk about matters of great importance as well as the more trivial ones called "pleasant".
After revealing the Human Farm teaser trailer, we have noticed that it evoked extreme emotions. Many people who watched the presented trailer, found in it elements of vegan "propaganda", references to Orwell's work and such films as "Matrix", "Animal Farm", "1984", "They Live" and several others.
At this time developers of the game do not want to reveal the whole intention of creating such a game.
Only for this moment, we can say that some problems in the game will be presented literally, while others will be treated metaphorically, and still, others will be very ambiguous. Only the player, his interest, perceptiveness, and intelligence will determine whether he will find and understand them all.
Without a doubt, the game will address very important matters and many elements of our present life.
The whole story line up will be an important part of the game. With this in mind, however, we cannot forget that it will be a GAME, and the games are mainly created for players.
We would like to know not only the opinions of people not related to the games but the players themselves. From the beginning, we planned to work closely with our fans. So we would like to ask you - the gamers - what would you like to see in Human Farm? How do you think the game should look like, what do you want us to avoid and what must be included in the game.
Every opinion matters to us, as the game is about the humankind itself.
We released the game a week ago. Since then we've constantly been monitoring your feedback in an attempt to address any issues as fast as possible. Keep reporting if you see anything problematic. Our goal is to try to stay on top of any issue, big or small.
