The tenth patch for Trials Rising is upon us and we’re kind of excited about this one. This patch includes some new features or improvements that have long been on our wishlist. Some bigger, some smaller, all frequently requested by players. Let’s jump right in and see what’s new in Trials Rising’s April Patch, expected to release Wednesday, April 8th.
BIKE LEADERBOARDS
Are you an apex Alpaca rider? Maybe you dominate on the Donkey. With the release of this patch, bike curious players will be able to compete across Trials Rising’s world of tracks on any available bike and save their time to bike-specific leaderboards. Bike leaderboards will be available on in-game Trials Tracks, Stadium Finals & Ninja Tracks for any bike that is available to ride. Bike leaderboards are accessed from track leaderboards under the BIKE tab. Bike leaderboards will only start to record entries after the patch is released, times made on different bikes prior to the patch will not appear on bike leaderboards.
DISABLE GHOSTS
The thrill of competition is a big part of Trials Rising but sometimes you might just want to have some alone time on the track. With the new Disable Ghost option found in the Game Options menu, you can remove most ghosts from the single-player experience of Trials Rising. No ghosts on tracks, in loading screens or the results screens. There are a few exceptions: ghosts will still appear when playing Challengers, completing Contracts that require beating a ghost and in Stadium Finals.
SKIP IT: SKIP HEAT & SKIP SONG
Sometimes you’re just not feeling it and want to move on to the next. If we’re talking about tracks in private multiplayer or songs on the soundtrack we’ve got two new options for you. In Private Multiplayer matches the host can skip the current track with the restart button and move on to the next track in the playlist.
At nearly any point in the game it’s also now possible to skip the current song playing. This can be done with a push of a button or through the pause menu. This feature also includes a new UI element that displays the name of the current song in the upper right corner of the screen. This element appears briefly when a new song starts and when first loading a new track.
GIGACRATE
The collection of bike & rider gear available in Gear Crates is getting a lot larger. Up until now, Gear Crates have included around 25-30 customization items. The new gigafied Gear Crates have 167 different items to potentially pull from when opened.

Hi, lead dev and programmer of Xenogunner here. We just released a small bugfix patch. It only fixes one bug for now, the one that I felt most important to fix out of the ones people have reported so far. I plan to work on a larger patch in the coming days based on any issues that people find, but for now, this should fix an important one at least.
PATCH NOTES:
Fixed a bug where two songs would play at once during the the last boss of episode 1 in Delta's story. (...this is what I get for forgetting to playtest both stories after making a last-second change in which songs play where...)
It has been a while and we would like to thank you for your continued support over these past few years.
Today we are rolling out support for the Oculus Rift S along with a few more neat changes to the in game keyboards, wagon wheels, scorecards, a speed challenge mode and a bunch of smaller bug fixes.
We have also added a shortcut to change your position and rotation settings on the pitch, you can access this by pressing CTRL + M, press it once for right handed settings, twice for left handed and three times to toggle it off again. This function will be more accessible via in game settings in the next update.
We will be posting a thread on the discussions page shortly where we will list some of our ideas for the next content update and we would love to see your ideas and suggestions.
We have prepared a fantastic update for you! It was difficult, it took time, but we succeeded. You can now create very tightly connected objects while retaining all physical properties. We have achieved unique functionality by devising and programming a new way of interconnection. So far it has not been in any virtual reality game. You have a great occasion to try it right now.
You will also find in game new free blocks and and change gravity.
This update adds landmark buildings, continous building key, new shortcuts for gamespeed, various minor improvements and more. Details here:
New landmark buildings
There are now new landmark buildings to decorate your cities with: - Statue of Liberty - Eiffel Tower - Arc de Triomphe
You can download these as mods in the game under Settings -> Mods -> Download.
Continous Building key
For most larger buildings such as schools, churches or structures such as bridges, you usually need to click again onto the toolset palette if you want to build more than one building. If you want to continue to place more buildings of the same kind, you can now just hold down SHIFT while clicking, and then build more.
New shortcuts for gamespeed
There are now a few keyboard shortcuts for setting the game speed: - Pause: Pauses and un-pauses the game - F6: Normal Speed - F7: Fast Speed - F8: Very Fast Speed
There is now a "disable autosave" mod available in the mod dialog. This is useful if you don't like your harddrive to do things every 3 minutes. The game still is being auto-saved then, but only if you switch from the game to the main menu.
The firetruck wasn't sometimes audible when driving to a fire. This has been fixed now.
Nicer seeded random number generator when creating a new patch of land when starting a new game.
Various minor improvements here and there
Please note that updates are currently a bit slowed down due to the COVID-19 lockdown, so this update doesn't include everything we planned for the first one. But we thought better release the updates in tiny steps than in slower ones. Hope you like this update anyway!
Thanks for all the feedback so far, further feedback is welcome as always!
Due to Covid-19 I have decided to offer everyone a chance to test the Visualizer for free before buying. Take this opportunity to buy it for a 20% lower price as well.
The free weekend will be available until April 5th at 22:00 PST and the discount will last until April 7th at 22:00 PST.

After some time during a campaign, some lords were remaining without troops in their party because of financial problems and constantly being harassed by bandits. This was one reason for the snowball effect in the campaign, with kingdoms being eliminated too easily.
