Hey, here is a report of how Flea Madness development is going :)

But first let us remind you about our our free testing which we hold from time to time. That is a great opurtunity to try the game and help to make this game awesome :) Link to discord will be at the end of this article, you will find all info about the test there.

So let's start:

General:

- Basic optimisation for levels.
- More valuable effect for damage receiving.
- Effect for successfu killing of enemy.
- Map rotation, now 2 maps are active on test.
- Huge balance fix. Now characters are more powerfull but need more food. In a nut shell your size and interation is harder to get and more veluable.
- News about next test in the main menu.

Art:

- Second map "Ufo Arean night" is added and has got a new lighting style.

- We are working on second character class "Tentacula", its model and texturing are ready. Now we are working on their animation. So they will be implemented in-game soon.

- Improved visual effects for characters and level.

Programming:

- Amazon gamelift integration.
- Several bugs fixes.
- Reducing of a Physics unstability.

Did you know that unlike people, the Trollz are born as adult specimens?

The ultimate goal of each Yotun is to defeat Jormund, the great serpent. To achieve this, Yotunz descend underground, kill monsters who harm Yggr, heal the Father Tree’s roots and mine veri to please the gods and improve Yggr.


Ready to start the adventure?

Since defeating Jormund and mining veri are matters of survival, Yotunz have genetically adapted to fulfill those functions as effectively as possible. Their right arms are adjusted to fuse with Symbionts, while their left arms can mutate.

Symbionts are used to fight. A Yotun fuses with them to gain a weapon which will prepare him for Durnar. New Symbionts can be found underground and, with time, Yotunz learn to produce their own. They influence the gameplay as each weapon type comes with a different fighting style. Here are some examples of Symbionts that appear early in the game:

• Yotunz Scythe - this sharp blade will cut through enemies with quick and precise attacks
  
• Yotunz Axe - enemies will fall like leaves under this weapon’s deadly, efficient blows
  
• Yotunz Sword - perfect for fighting groups of enemies, its attacks are powerful and wide, unstoppable as nature itself

The deeper you descend, the more powerful weapons you’ll find. If you’re lucky, you can find one enhanced with the power of one of three elements: fire, ice, or bio.


Rock paper scissors, elemental edition.


Your weapon is an extension of your hand, literally.

Every Yotun learns how to mutate his left arm. Mutations are meant to help the Yotun in combat. On the top of that, Yotunz can absorb essence, which charges the mutations. This comes in handy when they face more and more dangerous monsters. Yotunz can find various Mutations in the dungeons of Durnar, such as:

• Shockwave Mutation - enhances the sheer power of Yotunz left arms and is used to create powerful explosions at the point of impact
  
• Shield Mutation - protects Yotunz from the dangers of the Durnar
  
• Teleport Mutation - allows Yotunz to disappear and reappear in a different place by shifting their mass into a form of a goo

Mutation abilities come with Basic and Alternative versions. Performing them costs mana. Mana regenerates over time, but the smartest Yotunz preserve it for the toughest fights.


Coming back ‘on the shield’ was never an option.

Arrival into the world

Now, each new character will be shown on the world map with a special marker. The marker will be active until the character lands in the docking port of the capital.
Sorharon is an artefact of the Guardians that moves nomads between worlds.
It enables you to use:

• Glide - to increase airspeed.
  
• Chain lightning - to damage dragons, enemy ships or strekolets.
  
• Arcane repairs - to restore strength.
  
• Leap - to transfer to a random direction.

During your trip, enjoy the views and get comfortable with the controls and skills.
After landing, the city will provide you with a ship and equipment.

Market

• Added the opportunity to trade "Piece of the Inside Out" and "Long leap".

The Gates to Voras, the Skyfeather Kingdom are closed, the Demonslayers of Ausgyth must work together to open the sealed gates that confines us!
 
Upon the launch of the Skyward World update, players from each server will need to work together by collecting Skyfeather Crystal Fragments which drop from the Temple of the Twelve Dungeon. Once players have collected some Skyfeather Crystal Fragments, they should head to Mira Armstrong at the Skyfeather Camp of Eltmere Ravine and hand them over to her to help progress the seal break.



Upon gathering a good amount of Skyfeather Crystal Fragments, the Imperial Society will be able to break the seal, and a Zodiac will announce his descent to Ausgyth. Zodiacs will only descend to Ausgyth at 19:00 CET on Saturdays, and if the Zodiac is not defeated, they will return the following Saturday. The Zodiacs will appear in an order, cycling through from the Rat all the way up until the Pig, once they have all been defeated, the gates will open, and players will be able to ascend to Voras.
 

Skyfeather Crystal Fragments are dropped from the Temple of the Twelve dungeon. Based on the hall’s difficulty, you will receive a different amount of Skyfeather Crystal Fragments:

• Front Hall: 1 to 4 Skyfeather Crystal Fragments
• Center Hall: 3 to 5 Skyfeather Crystal Fragments
• Rear Hall: 6 to 8 Skyfeather Crystal Fragments

The average players who does every hall each week will receive a minimum of 40 Fragments.
 
Collect Fragments and submit them to Mira Armstrong to directly obtain a series of rewards!
 

• Synergy Horns
• Big Synergy Horn Pack (Contains 300 Synergy Horns)
• Common Battle Companion Scroll I (Astera, Calia, Qorian, Hyphaean Princess, Mantou, etc.)
• Rare Battle Companion Scroll I (Ren, Yue Zhang)

Even when the seal has been broken, Mira Armstrong will still gladly accept your Skyfeather Crystal Fragments and reward you for doing so. Don’t hesitate to turn them in!
 

With sufficient Skyfeather Crystal Fragments, a Zodiac will descend upon Ausgyth. Players must work together to defeat the Zodiac, once the Zodiac has been defeated, players will be rewarded based on their ranking. (Slayer mode and Battle Companions will not function in this area).



Players will be ranked according to their level, class, and based on the amount of fealty they earned during the event. The top 20 ranked players can get ranking rewards. You must damage the Zodiac or heal your allies to obtain fealty.

Caution: It is recommended to keep the Zodiac in place, as going out of range will despawn it for a short period of time! Although the respawned zodiac will keep its depleted HP status as before, players need to attack the Zodiac once again to be eligible for rewards.
 
The top player of each Zodiac slain in the server Fealty Rankings will each obtain a unique permanent title:

• Astuteness of the First
• Resilience of the Second
• Righteousness of the Third
• Loyalty of the Fourth
• Judgement of the Fifth
• Tranquility of the Sixth
• Devotion of the Eighth
• Vivaciousness of the Ninth
• Discernment of the Tenth
• Prudence of the Eleventh
• Innocence of the Twelfth

They will also have an exclusive statue of their character erected in the Skyfeather Camp!

Ahead of the Steam release I wanted to introduce you to some of our beautiful ladies!
Let's start with our 2 sexy roommates:



Bree is one of Mike's new roommates and one of the first characters he can interact with. She is a cute, excitable blonde girl who is into video games and geekery in general.
Bree has some of the most content in the game.



Sasha is a smaller chested brunette goth girl who is one of the new roommates too. She is a snarky bisexual metalhead, and the bass player in the "Deathless Harpies" an all girl metal band.
Deep down, and even if she hides it behind jokes, Sasha is a bit insecure and willing to change a lot for the right man.



Samantha used to be Mike’s roommate, but moved out so she could be with her boyfriend Ryan. Mike used to have a crush on Samantha (and still does).
If he makes the right choices he might be able to snatch her back from Ryan.



Aletta is Mike’s boss at the office, she's 10 years older than him and a bit dominant. Mike can break her shell and bring her to see him as more than just an employee.



Audrey is Mike's flirty coworker, up until now he always thought she was joking around but lately he is starting to reconsider...
Audrey hates Aletta with a passion.

A client, data and server patch and a restart of the game server are planned on March 19th, 2020 in order to implement the following changes, additions and fixes:

– Icons on the right of the Ranger NPCs' name scaled to 24x24;
– Mission Booklet now accessible by shift+E and with a link to the Encyclopedia.

– A bug blocking a mission if an NPC is politely asked a question about rumors during the dialogue about it;
– Some NPCs responding "You are too far away" when asked;
– Scroll bar losing position when group window is minimized;
– Issues resulting from the addition of icons in the drop-down menus.

– The nation merchants that accept Elyps now offer coloured generic raw materials (purple, green, turquoise, red, blue);
– Added confirmation request for the removing of landmarks.

Update
Verdun has received a number of improvements this March. Among these are floating weapon shadows, setting issues and animation related trickery.
We’ve also increased the AFK (=time to get yourself some drinks and snacks) in private and public matches, ensured certain matchups are more historically accurate in Attrition mode, added a potential fix for game crashes occurring after sound outage and stuttering and that’s not all!
