Wow, what an amazing two weeks we've had! Thank you so much to everyone who has been chatting with us, playing the game, listening to the soundtrack, streaming, drawing fan art... it's been an amazing and incredibly humbling experience!
Yes, Your Grace has been so close to our hearts for so long, it's been SO great seeing it finally in the hands of players and watching them be wonderful and terrible dads! We've enjoyed watching countless videos, listening to podcasts, reading reviews and were stunned to see even some fan art pop up! Thank you for all your kind words and especially your patience while we fixed up some bugs around the release - you were unendingly helpful!
The work definitely doesn't end here, as there are still a few things left to sort out for you all - resolution issues and translations are top of our lists for sure. We know some of the translations are less than great, so we're working with some new people to fix those up! We're also looking at adding some of the languages you've been asking for, so keep your eyes peeled for those!
Brave at Night have also been thinking about what comes next, be it more Yes, Your Grace story or something entirely new, and we'd love to hear what you think! What would YOU like to see?
Before we head off, thank you massively to everyone who wishlisted, told friends, reviewed the game and helped out in the forums - we could not have anticipated how many people have played and got in touch since the release and we absolutely couldn't have done it without you all!
Here's to (hopefully) more stories from Davern and beyond,
These are strange times. We don't have to tell you why, you watch the news, and are hearing enough about the big events taking place.
But there also is a lot of good stuff out there, with partners spending more time together, parents having more quality time with their children, and a lot of people taking that extra mile to help what way they can.
We want to do the same. As a gaming company, we can do that best by making our games more easily accessible. Because as it turns out, Woven is a great game to play together with friends or families.
So this is why we are giving out a 50% discount on steam for the next two weeks. Do you know anyone that can use a little escapism and care-free puzzling as a family? Tip them off. Share a link to the game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/504690
Take heart These are hectic times, but we wish everyone the best wishes possible. We hope you have the chance to enjoy the extra time with eachother. We hope our message will help you do that.
We'll be on Discord: http://discord.gg/playhanako starting at 10PM EST for about 2 hours playing against players across all of our maps and modes (even some unfinished test maps).
First time participants will receive a free key to bring a friend for partaking in a few matches, we will DM them to you on Discord.
Evaluating the state of the patch at the moment, we've decided to postpone it to next week. Progress has been slowed as the entire office has transitioned to remote. Sorry for the delay, thanks for your patience, and take care of yourselves everyone.
Spire of Sorcery (Limited Early Access) - Sergei Klimov
At the moment, Spire of Sorcery is already in the period of Limited Early Access. You can find more details about accessing that version of the game on the dedicated forum of the project. The general Early Access release at this time is expected in H1 2020.
Every week on Wednesdays, we broadcast development streams where we show the latest version of the game and explain which content and features, we currently work on. Our goal is to be completely transparent with you about the state of the project, as well as to get any feedback that you may give us after seeing us play the current version of the game.
We broadcast every Wednesday around 22:00 Tokyo time / 21:00 Beijing time / 15:00 Berlin time through Charlie Oscar's account on the following platforms:
Hello everyone! Sorry for taking so long with a new patch, but I've been working on the translations, along with some of the nicest people I have ever had the privileged of working with!
But a few bug fixes did find their way into this patch too! Here's everything that was changed:
v1.25
Added Russian language
Added Chinese language (Still needs some work, but it’s already better than nothing!)
Fixed background and fading issues with some cutscenes
Fixed the cutscene where only your nose was showing
Fixed an issue wtih the “sauna challenge” not activating as it should
Tried another little fix for the butterflies staying on till the next day
Fixed a problem with transitioning from the southern beach area to the town area that allowed you to travel out of map bounds
Escaping BumBum through lake should not lower your popularity anymore
We are also showcasing how Twitch features work in Legend of Keepers. It can be a bit troubling and we’re still working out how to improve the system. Basically, you have to enable it in Custom Mode, then have 3 integrations for now:
People can vote on sending you difficult or easy heroes
People can send you buffs or debuffs for your current fight
We're glad you're all on board for launch day. Here is what you can do to support us: - Tell your favorite influencers about the game - Share the free Prologue to your broke friends - Review, like, comment, give feedback - Send us a bug report when you see one at support@goblinzstudio.com Even the smallest actions can have a big impact for an indie game!
We just deployed a hotfix including the following.
Hotfix notes
Fixed problems with (Mark 5) 7-inch guns of USA/Britain ships.
Fixed a german funnel that had no name text.
Fixed hull issue of new Italian Battleship that did not had enough space for some secondary towers.
Repaired hull issues of Italian Heavy Cruiser III.
Battlecruisers hull limitations tuned so that they cannot exceed easily the 40 knots speed.
Minor costs rebalance (fixes some issues in several missions of too few funds, making auto-design to not find enough funds to add necessary guns or speed).
Resize of some early small guns to fit better on battleship hulls (according to feedback).
Auto-Design should build more powerful ships often, with multiple and heavier guns.
Fixed bug when choosing to start custom battle only with transports.
