The Future
Lootbox Lyfe has been out for over half a month now, and we've already got 2 patches under our belt! In terms of what's coming next, I'll have a patch with a few more tweaks and more keyboard layouts coming out in a couple of days. Additionally, the big 1.1.0 patch containing a new questline, and new NPCs will be coming in April. I hope you're excited for that! If you've been enjoying Lootbox Lyfe, I would really appreciate it if you left a review, those really make all the difference in terms of discoverability. Also, if you want to talk to other like-minded people, you can join the games Discord Server! Hope to see you there!
The Viking takes one of the well burnt log from a fire. Moving slowly he set another poles with dismembered viking heads on fire.
- Ozur… Beiner... Thialfi… Eid... Kollsvein... Geri... Finn... Agnar… March proudly through the gardens of Valhalla, because your bravery and fortitude were equal to none! March proudly, you invincible warriors, to the heavenly Asgard to feast among the gods! Your story will not be forgotten…
Heil!
The area of attack has been abandoned already, when Ragnald reached its destination. He needs to find a trail in which direction the kingdom of women had left. That new territory is harsh, covered by rocky mountains full with treacherous paths. In that unknown ground our heroic viking finds a way through lost temple filled with deadly traps. When he manage to get through it he spot a sinister view over newly found valley.
Ragnald has already walked quite a significant distance, but there’s still more to travel to accomplish his mission.
Currently we are working on: - interactions with the created world - equipment and crafting - balancing movement controller
Following increased and overwhelming concerns regarding the novel coronavirus, we have had to adjust to the new situation.
As of today, all employees of SCS Software's Prague studio have switched to home office. Last week on Wednesday, we trialed a one-day test with the whole company working from home to test the waters; and on Thursday and Friday, we were already packing up computers, hardware and assisting our teams in moving them to their homes if help was required.
We are doing this to protect the health of our staff, but we also see this as our social responsibility. The fewer people there are using public transportation, the fewer opportunities will the virus have available to spread further. We all need to do our part to contain and mitigate it.
This will inevitably affect our productivity, and we have yet to understand what kind of impact it makes on our production schedules. We need to learn a lot of new skills for team communication and planning; there are a lot of junior designers in the teams who will now require training and assistance remotely, putting strain on our seniors.
These worries are, of course, trivial compared to the massive problems that the whole of mankind will be facing in coming weeks and months. We will all need to brace for hard times. But we do understand that our fanbase expects honest communication from us, and any news we can provide on improvements and new features and content we are working on.
Our blog and our social media channels will remain our primary communication platforms, and we will do our best to keep the flow of the news regular, informative and entertaining.
We would also like to provide you with up to date information regarding our attendance of upcoming events.
Owing to the extraordinary circumstances and challenges posed by the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Mid-American Trucking Show has been cancelled; you can find more information on their homepage. Twitchcon EU has also recently released a statement, in which they announced the cancellation of their event. Anyone with bookings to TwitchCon EU or MATS 2020 should reach out directly to the organizers for more information regarding their tickets.
For the safety and well-being of our team and the community, we will be carefully considering our plans for upcoming future events such as Truck World Canada (which has been recently rescheduled) and Truckfest Peterborough. We will post an announcement here on our blog or on our social media channels on any further changes to our travel plans.
Unfortunately we also regret to inform you that the SCS E-Shop will no longer be accepting any new orders and will be closed until further notice. Any orders that have been made and paid up until today will still be processed. If you any further questions regarding orders, please contact eshop@scssoft.com
We thank you for your understanding, and we apologise to our community who may have made plans to meet us at any of the cancelled events. We will continue to keep you posted in the coming months.

Firstly, we hope you’re all safe and healthy during what is undoubtedly a very challenging and tumultuous time.
As far as A Place in the West is concerned, we’re still committed to seeing our plans through to fruition for a summer release. Chapter 1 and 1.5 have both been completed, and production on Chapter 2 will begin in a week’s time.
Given summer is so far away and we haven’t been able to release any content since Chapter 6, we wanted to get something into your hands sooner rather than later. So, we’ve made the first ten pages of the Chapter 1 – "Following Portents" remake available on the app! We hope you like them; the art team have done an incredible job and we couldn’t be prouder of the final result.
We also have an update on the latest Russian translations! Our very talented translation team, Vsevolod Stepanov and Pavel Lapinsky, have completed full translations of Chapter 6 and the new prologue! They’re now available on the app. We know this is something our Russian readers have wanted for a long time, and we’re excited to finally have them out there.
I’m sure we don’t have to remind anyone that we are one week away from the release of a brand-new Half-Life game. Alyx is coming, and we at APW cannot wait. We imagine you’re in the same boat. Stay abreast of our Twitter feed for some Alyx-related content!
First, about Dig or Die discounts: I'll try to increase the discount by 5% every six months (-30% at last winter sales, 35% for next summer sales, etc). And so I just set up week long discount at -32%.
Now, what about Dig or Die future? Thousands of things could be improved and added to the game, but I cannot seriously work on two games at the same time. So after working for 5 years on this game (and 4 years since early access), I have chosen to work on my new project. If you know of a company that would like to take over Dig or Die and continue its updates, and/or port it to console, please let me know.
I might make a mistake... but I think that I really have to develop this new game, that its concept is worth it. It's too early to present it, except to say that it will be very different from Dig or Die (another game genre). But if you like innovative and unique games I think that when I explain its concept you'll agree with me that it's worth it. Now my task is to manage to make it, and make it fun and nice to play!
And this time I'll not be alone, as I've hired an artist that will work full time with me on the project! And there will also be an original sountrack for the game. Now I go back to work... I'm so eager to progress and present it to you! :-)
Spring is almost here, and just in time comes the brand new Seasonal Slots! With a theme that changes with the season and a progressive jackpot, this is our biggest slot yet.
Progressive Jackpot
All Seasonal Slot machines share a progressive jackpot, which is prominently displayed over each machine. A percentage (1%) of each bet made by any player will go towards the jackpot. Players can win the Progressive Jackpot by making a max bet spin and landing on 5 of the special seasonal symbols - the Butterfly/Sandcastle/Turkey/Cabin, depending on the current season.
The longer it takes for a player to win the jackpot, the bigger it will grow, so we're excited to see just how high the Progressive Jackpot can get!
Alongside the new slot machine comes four matching rewards and three achievements, plus a variety of bug fixes!
