Conan Exiles - Ignasis (Community Team)
Greetings Exiles,

We’re starting the year with a new patch focusing on bringing many fixes into the game, addressing exploits, general and UI issues among other things. We’re also laying down the first layer of quality fixes for NPCs and followers, which will be the focus for our next patch in a few weeks.

With this patch we will also enable on official servers a feature introduced with the December update which limits the visibility of players in the player list. By default, players will be listed as invisible unless they choose to participate in chat. At that moment, they will be visible in the player list for the next 5 minutes.

Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.




  • Fixed an issue where some assets were taking up too much memory.
  • Fixed a number of crashing issues.



  • Fixed a number of building exploits.
  • Fixed an exploit regarding logging out while climbing.
  • Fixed an exploit regarding attribute points.
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to loot bases that had yet not been loaded on the client.
  • Fixed a number of undermesh locations and methods.
  • Added fuse time to explosive jars to limit the abuse of some macros.
  • Fixed an exploit which would allow Javelins and Orbs being thrown through walls and surfaces.
  • Fixed an issue where stacks of glitched arrows could be refilled.
  • Fixed an exploit that would allow the construction of floating bases.



  • Doors are now aligned to Stable Fence Gate Frame and Stable Fence Gate Frame (Pillars) correctly.



  • Fixed an issue where the Great-sword 3rd heavy attack would not hit reliably.
  • Fixed an issue where the player’s character cannot attack after unequipping a torch while performing directional attack with a one-handed weapon.
  • Battle Standard no longer loses functionality for the player who re-joined the session in the Proving Grounds zone.
  • Killing your own pet no longer grants experience points.
  • Accuracy 40 perk now correctly works when shooting both players and NPCs.



  • Followers should now correctly consume food on listen servers.
  • Thralls and pets should now consume food at a slower rate.
  • Fixed an issue where mods would break the hunger system and prevent pets and thralls from eating.
  • Fixed an issue where a Rocknose King spawned inside a rock and was unable to move from there.
  • Frost Giant Bodyguard can no longer access Accuracy related perks.
  • Horses can no longer dive.
  • Ownerless thralls will now decay over time as intended.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed certain NPC’s to be killed without retaliation in the Wine Cellar dungeon.
  • Blood stains should now be removed correctly from pets.
  • Fixed an additional issue where Pets’ level may reset after dedicated sever restart.
  • Fixed an issue where followers would sometimes equip the weapon of the owning player.



  • Rusted Chestpiece now provides the same cold resistance as other parts of the Rusted set.
  • Rebalanced (increased) damage for Quivering Arrows.



  • In-game lootchests should now replenish correctly for other players. This would occur if a player stops interacting by pressing the “ESC” button.
  • Some in-game assets had white textures - this should now be fixed.
  • Night-vision potions and equipment should now work correctly again.
  • Fixed an issue where falling damage would not reduce the mount’s endurance.
  • Fixed a few instances where players could ride a Horse in First Person Perspective camera.
  • The “Explore the entire Exiled Lands” Journey Step should now unlock properly.
  • Stables collision now more accurately reflects the model.
  • All seeds and flowers should now correctly have the same stack-size.
  • Fixed an issue where the Khari Soldier mail had visible gaps between the textures on the chest area of the female character.
  • Fixed a skinning issue with Poitain Heavy Armor.



  • Fixed a missing water volume in the underwater passage leading to the Undergate.



  • Fixed an issue where corpses would T-pose on spawn and/or death.
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to interrupt the dismounting animation.
  • Added mounted weapon-equipping animations.
  • Fixed an issue where players would always see other players only mount from the left side of the horse.
  • Certain character customization options are no longer reset to default while mounted.
  • Using a sword while mounted should no longer stutter on dedicated servers.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause flickering of body parts when creating a female character.



  • Interacting player armors should no longer be presented in unconscious player inventories when interacting with them.
  • Fixed an issue where “Clear Keybinding” option became non-functional after clearing few keybindings when using a controller.
  • Fixed an inconsistency between functionality and keywords of building Pieces from the Riders of Hyboria DLC.
  • Added contextual information regarding combat while riding a mount.
  • Fixed a case where a redundant horse health bar would display on receiving damage from its rider.
  • Fixed an issue where follower diet tabs would be empty.
  • Fixed additional issues with keybindings.
  • Pet and Thrall Strength attribute bonus is now accurately reflected in the Attribute section of the companion Stats.
  • Our #spellchekker team fixed various typos and grammar. As a result, they’ve been allowed to experience sunlight for a whooping half an hour.
  • Putting a food item that is about to expire into a slot on the shortcutbar no longer permanently dyes the text in that slot orange.
  • Clarified a message about trying to equip unsupported mount weapons while mounted.
  • Doors in The Warmaker Dungeon should now have information about interaction.
  • Server list should no longer show 0.0 Population for all servers.
  • Fixed an issue that would impede normally scrolling through the crafting options in the Armorer's bench while using a controller.



  • The audio for death by lava should now be more audible. #hastalavistababy
  • Fixed missing death vocal and dismember sounds.
  • Rain Sound Effects are no longer present without a rainy weather inside the “Flooded City” dungeon.


Separate TestLive Product on Steam

We heard your input regarding the inconvenience with having to switch back and forth between the main game and our TestLive servers. To make it easier for you and because we really value your testing and feedback, we added a separate product for the TestLive server on Steam.

If you own Conan Exiles on Steam, you should now see a separate Product called “Conan Exiles - Testlive Client” in your library which gives you the option to install an additional instance of the game specifically for the TestLive servers. Please be aware that this will prompt you for a full additional installation.

We are aware that not everyone wants install or has space for two full installations. For those of you who don’t want to play through the additional TestLive Client, you can still access the TestLive servers through our old method.

With the recent Queen update, territory control is no longer determined via 5v5 battles, and is instead decided via open-world fights. We've created this guide to explain how to launch an attack, claim an enemy territory or defend your own territory.



First off, territories have the following benefits and defenses:
  • Siphoning Mages which generate Season Points and Siphoned Energy for the guild
  • NPC guards that defend the territory from enemy guilds
  • A tower armed with a devastating lightning beam, providing a fallback position when outnumbered in the open world
  • Guild owning the territory may receive a daily Silver tribute from Hideout owners in the same zone
  • Only territory owners can attack fully established Hideouts within the same zone
  • Higher enchantment rates of surrounding resources and better resource yield
  • Some territories provide farm plots in the open world
Open-World Territory Control
In former seasons, outside of Invasion Days, territory control could be contested by enemy guilds via 5v5 "GvG" battles. Under the new territory control system introduced with the Queen update, all territory control fights, including those outside of Invasion Days, take place in the open world. This means that multiple guilds, as well as non-affiliated players, may show up during the battle.

Declaring an Attack on an Enemy Territory

Attack Declarations can be made at any time at the territory tower, independent of a cluster’s prime time. In order to declare an attack:
  • you need to first take out the Sentry Mage, located in front of the tower.
  • When the Sentry Mage is defeated, the tower’s lightning beam is disabled. Now you can go to the tower and declare an attack. (Note: The Sentry Mage will respawn after 20 minutes)
  • Declaring an attack costs 2 million silver, paid from your guild account, and you must have the “Attack Territory” permission in the guild. A 10-second channel will begin, which is not interrupted by damage - only "hard CC" spells like Wind Wall or Knockback will interrupt the channel.
  • A territory can be attacked by multiple guilds at once. All guilds who declare an attack will join the same battle.
  • The territory battle will take place at the beginning of the next primetime after a minimum of 20 hours since the attack has been declared


Rules of Battle
  • The Sentry Mage despawns 15 minutes before the battle (disabling the tower’s lightning beam)
  • The battle begins at primetime.
  • The battleground is directly at the territory in the open world (not in an instanced location as with prior seasons).
  • Any player can enter the cluster or cluster queue and take part in the fight.
  • As soon as the attack starts, guilds who have declared an attack in advance (see above) can claim the territory by channeling the tower:
    • The channel lasts 30 seconds, and as with attack declarations, is not interrupted by damage. Other than killing the channeling player, only "hard CC" can interrupt the channel.
    • Guilds without attack declarations in advance cannot interact with the tower.
    • The first guild to channel the tower wins the fight
    • The tower can also be channeled by the defending guild to end the attack.
    • If after 30 minutes no one has channeled the tower, the defender wins by default.

Invasion Day
Guild seasons begin with an Invasion Day, where ownership of all territories is reset and they can be claimed in the open world by any eligible guild. Throughout the course of the season, there are two additional territory resets. For exact days and times of these events, see the Guild Season 8 schedule.

Here’s a quick guide to claiming a territory on Invasion Day:
  • During the invasion, the territory is overrun by Vengeful Guardians
  • Defeat the Elite Vengeful Guardian Lord, which spawns at the territory tower and is designed for a group of 5-10 players
  • Once the boss is defeated, you may begin channeling the tower to claim the territory. To claim it, you must meet the following requirements:
    • Pay 2 million Silver from the Guild account
    • Must have ‘Claim Territory’ permission in the Guild
    • Your guild must have at least 1,000,000 Fame in total

Let's get down to basics and meet one of the most basic unit types in the game. SPEARMAN!

They are usually recruits from the common people with a low level of training and inexpensive equipment. They serve as guards, protect trade routes, and serve as cannon fodder on the battlefield during the war.

They rely on their trusty spear and shield (as spiermen should), wearing Nostrian helmet, chain mail and infantry uniform.

Oh and yeah, we do have leveling of units with changing appearence and abilities but more on that later...

Hello Heroes!

After over two years, spanning 30 seasons with 6 Heroes, we sadly announce that our adventures are coming to an end.

Fable Fortune will be shutting down servers on March 4th 2020.

The in game store is now disabled which means you will no longer be able to purchase card packs. If you have any outstanding card packs in your inventory, you will still be able to open them throughout the remainder of January, February and March until the game closes down.
