The Earth did not send up any seed. Demeter, she with the beautiful garlands in her hair, kept them covered underground. Many a curved plough was dragged along the fields by many an oxβall in vain. ~Homeric Hymn to Demeter (Anonymous; G. Nagy translation)

Patch Notes & Discord
Full patch notes are available here on Steam, in the game client, and our official Discord, where we invite you to join a welcoming, international community of Hades players and Supergiant fans.
Thank you so much for playing! Player feedback heavily informs our updates and is always on our mind. We're excited to press onward in development with you, and wish you good luck getting out of hell!
It has been almost a month since the last update, so we have a ton of stuff for you in this one.
Scenarios & Steam Workshop
The largest part of this update is scenarios you can not only play yourself, but make for others to play.
We have made a nifty guide for anyone who would like to learn how to make and share one Here No programming knowledge or technical knowledge required!
So you don't have to wait for your friends to make scenarios we have included two pre-built scenarios you can play though. 'Overpopulation' where you start with a large amount of survivors in a small area and have to build a colony to sustain and grow them even further, And 'The Wrong Side of Town' where you find yourself berated by raiders for multiple nights in a row and must find a way to live 10 days before they kill you.
New and improved modes
In order to help in the creation of scenarios we have expanded Sandbox mode to let you summon new survivors and trigger events. As we are transitioning sandbox mode to a more of a 'god mode' experience we wanted to also add a easier game mode than survival were you still have to work for your survivors. We have added a 'Leisure' mode that is basically a easier version of survival. Your survivors will need less food and water and you will be attacked by fewer raids and zims.
Manual jobs
For those of you that have been around awhile you know that a few updates back we added the ability to manually give jobs to survivors. Well the problem was the interface was confusing and really the only way you would find it was by accident or if you read the post. So we have made it simper by adding a button on the survivor dropdown menu
Improvements and bug fixes from you guys!
As always we spent a lot of time watching you guys play and listening to feedback you had about the game and we managed to fix a lot of bugs reported by you guys. Such as people getting stuck on high priority jobs that couldn't be accomplished or small things like the metal ore looking too much like the stone and scraps. As well usability things such as the hover effect being the same as the selected effect on the science menu. Overall I love interacting with you guys and seeing what you have to say about Rekindling. Keep it coming.
Next weeks update
There will be another update on the 28th of February with whatever feedback you guys give on Scenarios and the other new things, as well as some long awaited crafting queue reworks & job priorities per survivor. Hope to see you then, Let us know what you want to see in the game, and I am excited to see what scenarios you guys create and put on the Steam workshop!

Hello everyone, we hope you're all having a great week!
This weeks developer briefing is here and we have some new updates to share with you regarding the UI and how Production Lines have been improved.
Catchup
Since our last Devbrief we've been busy working on the background functionality for the new Shipyards, Refineries, Mines & Farms.
Each category will have its own manageable "production line" capable of producing a wide variety of products that the Empire deems fit for its needs.
These will be included in the next major patch around about 2 weeks time.
On to the news...
Planet Factory List & Star Information UI Improvements
One of the key aspects of Galactic Management revolves around the Production Lines and their management. We have now added a new screen to the Star Info display and add some additional cosmetic improvements to help management each Planets factories.
Here we have the new Star Info display with the "Factory Control" button used to access the list of factories assigned to that planet.
This will help improve the process of managing the many Planets & Production Lines you will need to keep growing your sector.
Player feedback & Production Output
We've had some great feedback from players that has really helped to drive the list of 'player requested changes' applied to each update, either through identifying any bugs (not many!) or through feature/functionality suggestions that were already on our list but not fully flushed out yet.
One of the key points we agreed should take priority is how Production Lines work and how they are implemented. The current drawback of the first EA releases was that it was difficult to plan your production lines appropriately and that is why we are focusing more attention on this area to help players make informed decisions easier than ever.
Below is the latest UI for the Production Line configuration, this will provide Players with an overview of the impact their changes will make to their planets production.
That concludes DevBrief#2 and we hope you have a great rest of the week! CSD
