Deep, In the Forest - Mark
Greetings, the inhabitants of our little forest!
This update is fully focused on expanding content and adding new characters to the game. And as a result - the expansion of the story in the game.
In addition, the characters have new mechanics, and the player has new cards. However, it is unlikely that you will be delighted to find these cards in your deck =)



Changes in version 0.255.

Opponents:
  1. Added 5 new characters for the North region.
  2. Added 3 new characters for the West region.
  3. Added 11 new characters for the Center region.
  4. Now almost all the characters are strictly attached to their regions and are united by different plot lines within these regions. However, there remain several characters wandering around the regions. This is due to their plot lines.
  5. Added 84 phrases for new characters. At the moment, 201 phrases are written in the game. Because the source of all troubles is in the royal castle, it is logical that some characters in the castle can shed light on many plot events in the game. Can you gather all the pieces of the puzzle?
  6. Added a new trait - Warlock. Characters with this trait can add Exhaustion cards to a player discard if not stopped.
  7. Added a new trait - Injuring. Characters with this trait can add ranged cards to a player's discard when dealing damage.
  8. Reorganized character abilities. Now the number of abilities for each character is determined by its level of difficulty. Normal opponents have only 1 trait, hard ones have 2, Barons have more. How many traits have the Mad King - no one knows =) The traits are thematically combined to better match the character’s image.
  9. Fixed description of the Eared trait.
Cards:
  1. New card: Exhaustion - effect, temporary, cannot be converted into energy. To get rid of it you need to play this card.
  2. New card: Wound - effect, temporary, cannot be converted into energy.
  3. New mechanics of temporary cards. Temporary cards are in your deck only until the end of the battle. In the future, it is planned to use this mechanics for cards that also benefit the player.
Interface:
  1. Added menu button for the region and battle screen.

What to expect in the following weekly updates:
  1. Plot. The victory over the barons will become more ... significant =)
  2. A smoother introduction to the game world at the beginning.
  3. New traits for the opponents. Rework for some old ones.
  4. New cards with new mechanics.
  5. New items with new features.
  6. New routes in the regions.

* Battle Introduction
Lina’s battle design is focused on spear fighting style to wipe out enemies using ‘Spear’.
Also to emphasize Lina’s strength better, we have created her with addition of Fire attribute so that she can show off her spear fighting style with flames.

* Lina’s main battle concept
Horizon Slash
‘Horizon Slash’ is a smash skill using spear that smashes the battlefront widely when it hits.
Through this skill, other spear skills can be linked and used endlessly.
If you can link ‘Horizon Slash’ on every other skills, you will see the enemies knocked out instantly.

* Overhit
‘Overhit’ is a reinforcement skill of Lina that bursts accumulated strength of fire.
This sill can be activated with TAP key by charging the gage.
It slowly charges in natural, also can be created by striking enemies with ‘Horizon Slash’
When Overhit is activated, number of strikes of basic attack and attack skill with spear increases. and basic stats of Lina increases which leads effectiveness of battle to maximum.

* Skill Manual Details

- Attack power increase
Attack power increases for Basic attack, Jump attack, Dash attack, all skills
Gains basic skillfulness automatically.

Automatically gains as character level increases.

- DASH
Moves quickly to the facing direction.
.Important and frequently used skill to attack.
Dash with direction key at the same time activates dash to the set direction.

Can be used with Shift key.

- TRIPLE ATTACK
Performs quick and delicate spear attack three times to the battlefront.

Additional input is required to perform attack three times.
Last strike can float the enemy in the air.

Lv2 – Attack speed, movement speed increases in 10% when strikes
Lv3 – Destroying super armor effect applies on the last floating strike
Lv4 – Invincibility applied during the attack

- Horizon Slash
Able to slash enemies in the battlefront.
When strikes, by right clicking in one second enables the skill
(Except Blaze strike and Horizon slash, Flip hit spin multiple-hit attack, Radius hit normal attack multiple-hit attack, jump attack, attack without spear spin)

If you strike the skill, Overhit gage can be earned.

Lv2 – When strikes, 75% damage, 50% critical chance, 15% attack speed increases for 8 seconds.
Lv3 – When strikes, apply stiff effect to the enemy for 0.25 seconds(For all tiers of monsters)
Lv4 – When skill is used, 50% damage reduction applies to your character for 5 seconds.

- Flip Hit
Spins longitudinal direction with a slight jump and cuts downwards.
Pushes monsters to direction of spin.

Lv2 – Skill count increases to two times.
Lv3 – 2 seconds cool time reduction
Lv4 - Invincibility effect applied the during the attack

- Flame Dash
Explodes strength of fire instantly and performs powerful charge.
When skill activation finishes, you will face opposite side.

Lv2 - 2 seconds cool time reduction
Lv3 - Invincibility applied the during the attack
Lv4 - Skill count increases to four times

- Rain Of Flame
Throws a giant flame spear to the sky.
Can be dropped to a set position.
Drag monsters to the center of the strike.

Lv2 – When Horizon Slash strikes, 20% cool time reduction of the skill.
Lv3 – When Overhit buff exists, 50% attack power increases
Lv4 – 100% damage increase.

- Overhit
Reinforces Lina’s physical ability by exposing powerful fire energy for 5 seconds.
Charges Overhit gage by 4 in every 5 seconds.
When gage reaches to maximum, Overhit can activate.

Critical damage increase by 20%
Movement speed increase by 5%
Fire attribute increase by 50

Lv2 – Every spear attack related multiple hit attack added
(Except Blaze Strike Hit, Over Deadly Slash, Over fleuret pierce)
Lv3 – Overhit gage increases by 4 in every 1.5 seconds
Lv4 – Overhit buff enhancement (2 times from original figure)

- Energy Hit
Wipe out close area by exposing fire energy.
When skill is used, it drags enemies to the center with condensed fire attack.

Lv2 – Dragging attack area increase by 25%
Lv3 – Fire storm occurs (Decrease fire resistance by 3, can overlap to 50 to the enemies struck by fire storm.)
Lv4 – 100% damage increase

- Fire Stamp Hit
Jumps high with power of fire, then falls to the set position and attacks.
Left click or after certain amount of time, falling attack will activate.

Lv2 – Dragging area increase by 40.
Lv3 – Fire AOA added
(Decrease fire resistance by 3, can overlap to 50 to the enemies struck by attack.)
Lv4 – 100% damage increase.

- Giant Hook Hit
Spins spear to total directional and do a powerful slash.
When strikes enemy with sweep, drags enemies to close by.

Lv2 – Dragging attack area increase by 30%
Lv3 - 10 seconds cool time reduction
Lv4 – 100% damage increase

- Weak Finder
Finds out enemy’s critical vulnerable point.
Critical damage increases.
Over Deadly Slash Activates multiple slash to the battlefront and damages enemy.
If Overhit is in activation, more powerful finish motion will activate.
(Damage of finish attack increase by 20%)

Lv2 - Invincibility effect applied the during the attack
Lv3 – If use when Overhit is still activated, attack power increase by 50%
Lv4 – 100% damage increase.

- Flame Control
Allow to control energy of fire more powerful and stable.
If Overhit is learned, amount of gaining gage and fire enhancement attribute increases.
Over fleuret Pierce Performs deadly critical pierce with spear containing fire energy .
If Overhit is in activation, more powerful finish motion will activate.
(Fire Penetration damage increase by 20%)

Lv2 - Invincibility effect applied the during the attack
Lv3 - If use when Overhit buff still exists, attack power increase by 50%
Lv4 – 100% damage increase.

- Blaze Strike Hit
Charges power of fire to the maximum and creates explosion by throwing the spear.
Effect will change depends on the skill level.

Lv2 – 60 seconds cool time reduction
Lv3 – When skill is used, initializes cool time of every skills. (Except Blaze Strike Hit, Overhit, Horizon Slash)
Lv4 – 100% damage increase

※ All active skills are Slash/Fire attribute.
※ Lina’s main ability is ‘Fighting Spriti

Level 3 of Energy Hit, Fire Stamp Hit skills enhance.

(30 counts to 60 counts)

- Super Hot Set 2
When the number of chain renews every 33 times, passion buff is created for 10 seconds.
(Has to renew based on the occurrence count.)

- When Horizon Slash is used, afterimage attack activates.
(All skills activate as afterimage except Rain Of Flame, Over Deadly Flash, Over)

Its the second patch of the year, along with many fixes from last unreal engine update. We are also opening the second PVE map, Scrap Yard - which will be open everyday on this weekends. (Gourmet Market will alternate back on Monday and Wednesday.) The remaining rainbow weapons are also here in the event shop. So don't forget to get them before they are gone. (Lunar New Year patch is coming next week.)

Last but not least, we added XunWu's last three skills, which are all attack-attack-attack type skills. He should be one of the highest damage dealer now, so watch out for fire damage if you have to go toe to toe with him.
