[Issue Summary] An issue has been discovered where the save data would not convert to the new file format if the save data and the game haven't been updated after October 30, 2018 (UTC 23:00), the day when Kulve Taroth had been added to the game via Title Update.
We will be releasing a patch in the coming days that will address this issue.
For those affected by this issue, please shut down the game when the following in-game message is displayed:
Failed to read saved data for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Create new save data?
Yes / No
*For those with save data timestamped before October 30, 2018 (UTC 23:00), any customization done to the key configuration will be reset to its default value after applying the new patch.

Bugfixes: -Fixed blobs. -Fixed a couple softlocks involving certain enemies sneaking out of rooms with you. -Fixed issues with a certain boss' eyesight. -Fixed half of the salvage weapon prompt on map screen appearing as Skully. -Shortened the extended tooltip for Plating so it doesn't creep the edge of the screen. -Scope now works as Skully before you've taken a weapon. -Fixed an issue where care package wouldn't be consumed if you closed the game. -Buttons in Boss Practice should be better behaved. -Arcades no longer give bombs to Arena Blaster. -Fixed a rare bug that could break upgrade terminals. -Sound effects in Bestiary are now centered.
Balance Changes -Cavalier has received better training on shield use. -Enigma Blessing rooms have been reworked. -Quickening now revives you with a bonus 20% damage. -The Warden's staff phase is slightly easier. -Shrapnel is buffed. -Ringshot Razors now use more ammo when fired.
Miscellaneous: -Hacking minigame in tutorial is now more explicit.
We will have an update at around 6:00 AM (GMT) on Jan 15th to fix a few bugs and make several improvements. The server maintenance will last for 3 hours or more. During the maintenance, you will be unable to enter game. We suggest all royal lords use a 4 Hrs or higher level Truce in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Here are the contents of this update:
1. New Features - Added new event "Army of the Dead", Royal Lords and Ladies will be able to fight alongside other alliances against Night King and the great army of White Walkers. - Added the second Dragon – "Shadowmoon". For more information about the way to obtain related materials, please stay tuned for upcoming event "Dragon Hunt". - Added new feature "Activity Calendar", from the menu within "Benefit" icon in main screen, Royal Lords and Ladies will be able to check the upcoming events from the calendar.
2. Improvements - Mails in "Notice" category now supports Copy and Translate features. - Improved multi-language translation in some of the text in-game. - Improved some other game experience and GUI.
