Let’s start the year with some liberal freedom distribution in the form of three epic North-American vehicles, including the epic M1A1 Storm Tier 7 Premium MBT! The other currently discounted items include:
  • MBT-70 Tier 6 Premium Main Battle Tank
  • M1134 Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer
  • Canadian camouflages
Between January 2 and January 9, 2020, the following items will be available (along with 50% bonus to Experience to Reputation conversion):


M1A1 Storm


In 1985, the Abrams was upgraded with, amongst other things, the 120mm M256 smoothbore cannon. Over 5000 M1A1 tanks were produced until 1992. This tank participated in Operation Desert Storm, which forged its legendary reputation.



In Armored Warfare, the M1A1 Storm is a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank. The M1A1 Storm look was inspired by Operation Desert Storm, including a gorgeous camouflage net model. But, more importantly, this tank is equipped with a massive frontal dozer blade, adding extra armor and ramming damage to the long list of its advantages.






Canadian Camouflages


We’ve prepared three historical Canadian camouflages for you that are based on real life patterns. You can read more about them in our dedicated article.



Please note that each of these camouflages can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available (any vehicle with the exception of vehicles with permanent skins) and that each of these camouflages can be used in all three environments.






M1134


The M1134 is an advanced missile Tank Destroyer based on the Stryker chassis, used in the U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams to enhance the unit’s firepower against enemy armor. While only lightly protected, its main strength light in the advanced model of the BGM-71 TOW missile launcher, allowing it to knock out practically every armored target it encounters on the battlefield.



In Armored Warfare, the M1134 is a Tier 8 Tank Destroyer. Its main and only weapon is the dual-shot missile launcher. As such, the vehicle is mostly defenseless at close ranges, but can take out any enemy it encounters at long distances thanks to its powerful guided missiles. Mastering it requires patient gameplay and clever use of cover, making it more suitable for experienced players.






MBT-70


Germany and the United States cooperated in the 1960s and 70s to create the ultimate Main Battle Tank to replace the aging Patton tank series in service. The MBT-70 prototype tank was the U.S. result of the development program. It was exceptionally well armed with a 152mm gun, capable of firing guided missiles and equipped with cutting edge technology, but high costs and endless delays in development led to the cancellation of this project and the subsequent adoption of a more reasonable design – the Abrams.



In Armored Warfare, the MBT-70 is a Tier 6 Premium Main Battle Tank. Several features make it quite unique – it has a large caliber gun that, while slow to reload, delivers tremendous damage with each shot. It can also fire devastating guided missiles and while its mobility levels aren’t the best, it can devastate its opponents with well-timed shots, relying on its armor to keep it alive while it reloads. And last but not least, this vehicle has a hydraulic suspension available, allowing it to tilt its hull to improve its gun depression and elevation.

Story of a Gladiator - Brain Seal Entertainment
Added new game mode, the colosseum tournament.
- The tournament has 15 waves
- At the end of each wave you automatically heal, restock consumables and have 1 point to
upgrade your items or skills
- Choose from 1 of the 3 classes (Murmillo, Retiarius, Bestiarius)
- You can manually taunt the crowd to receive help based on your crowd energy
- If the crowd doesn't favor you and you call them, they will stone you
- Calling upon the crowd with high energy has a chance that they will throw a god statue to activate their power
- Roguelike, if you die you have to start over
- Use the Bestiarius unique "release pet" ability to send your pets to attack the nearest enemy
- Added 5 new achievements for the tournament
- Beating the boss at wave 5 and 9 will give you an extra upgrade point
- Play co-op with a friend

Game changes and fixes
- Jump attack now deals 50% damage, no longer pierces block and deals 50% damage when running.
- If you have shield bash, you are running and hit the block button you will bash enemies and throw them to the ground.
- Kick is a pierce block attack.
- Fixed an issue with the Spartan attack triggering multiple times.
- Improved hitbox detection when you are on top of each other, if an enemy is slightly behind you it’s still considered as being as in front of you and qualifies for a hit.
- Made some adjustments in the formation AI
- When becoming exhausted you now lose 8-14% of the crowd energy
- Reduced stun length when becoming exhausted
- Removed level 2 decapitation damage
- Decapitation level 2 and 3 now give even more crowd favor
- Unbreakable now reduces incoming damage by 20%/50%/80%
- Unbreakable now also triggers when you get stunned, previously it would trigger only on attack hits.
- Fixed a bug with unbreakable not triggering on ranged attacks
- Pit hole deaths now excite the crowd
- When you have 3 sword icons, the next attack will also pierce block
- Run level 2 now runs until you stop.
- Added run level 3, making an attack while running will pierce block
- Fixed an issue with ranged attacks not triggering the pet tiger attack
- It’s no longer possible to bind the enter key to any other button in the options.
- Run is a starting ability when you play a new save/game
- Intro cutscene now has subtitles
- Fixed a bug with the colliders on items thrown from the arena
- Stamina now recovers a little faster
- Kick has now a little more range
- Faster attack speed skill now has an extra level and adjusted the bonus in each level
- When a gladiator shield bashes a gladiator who is shield blocking, the stun will also get blocked but will get pushed back.
- Each pet has a different purchase price

* 11 January Update *
- Fixed somed visual issues with the retiarius back and net not showing when attacking
- Fixed an animation issue with the temple NPC that would cause it to freeze.
- Fixed an issue with panther entering a looped state of idle/attack when no enemies are around to attack.
- Slightly increased the hitbox range on the vertical axis for gladiators
- Fixed a rare crash with the afrikan gladiator when he would counter attack
- Removed the level text UI in the game arena UI
- Maximum level is now 20
- Fixed an issue where the game would lag if multiple enemies died at the same time
- Pet stuns reduced to 0.5 from 1 second

Happy new year everybody! We hope you had a good time in the festivities!

We just launched a new update of the game with many bug fixes and putting back the simplified Chinese language support!

Some players were experiencing bugs in the first stage of the game when trying to play it again. Other bugs in the map navigation. But we fixed it all.

The simplified Chinese translation is still missing the game controls screen, but we will add it really soon.
