In the upcoming Rock and Metal update, all elder gods will be able to access the Aspect of Vengeance. You will need an Avatar Trophy to unlock its bonuses and new features. The gold node, for instance, will allow characters to use the ether essence of distortion generals to upgrade their equipment!

If your Temple of Deeds is not fully unlocked yet, we have good news for you: in the new update, you can get up to 6 trophies from the training version of an avatar, which will unlock all divine specializations. You will need trophies from the champion version to learn Aspects.


 
Aspect Abilities
The Aspect of Vengeance is armed with a bow which transforms into a cannon and can summon lightnings that strike enemies. If enemies get too close, you can create a barrier of arrows and then use it to boost your abilities.

 
Ability
Description
Piercing Flare
Shoots an assault bow in the selected direction and deals damage to all enemies in the area of effect.

A target affected by Storm Charge takes extra damage and creates a damage wave with a range of 5 yards around them. The effect is removed, and the god gains 2 charges for the Astral Cannon ability.

If they take damage from this ability, the target also takes damage from the arrows of Thunder Barrier if they are less than 5 yards away.
Storm Charge
Deals damage in the area around the selected target and to all enemies near the arrows of Thunder Barrier. Applies Storm Charge to the target which deals damage over time for 5 seconds.
Thunder Barrier
Fires 6 arrows into the sky that form a line when they fall. The line exists for 15 seconds and deals damage to all enemies that cross it, paralyzing them for 2 seconds. Strong enemies are also affected by the paralysis. When it runs out, the enemy becomes immune to this paralyzing effect for 20 seconds.
Astral Cannon
Turns the bow into a cannon that rapidly fires energy charges.
Melting Shot
Fires a powerful plasma projectile in the selected direction that deals damage to all enemies in the area of effect. Consumes 1 plasma cannon charge.

If the projectile crosses Thunder Barrier, its damage and area of effect are increased.
God's Fury
A huge weapon appears in the sky and fires 4 shots at enemies within 30 yards, hitting targets with the most amount of health. After that, the weapon falls on the enemy surrounded by the biggest number of enemies and explodes, dealing damage to everyone within 30 yards.
 

Aspect Nodes
The best part comes when you unlock the nodes of the new aspect. They grant the character several nice bonuses and extra mobility – after unlocking the gold node, you will be able to use special sparks to upgrade your equipment. They are unique for each invasion army. You can get them in the third distortion – one spark is guaranteed when you successfully complete your first run of the day. The rest drop with a certain chance.

 
 
The duration of paralysis applied by Thunder Barrier is increased by 1/2/3/4 second(s).
Three subsequent projectiles fired by Astral Cannon increase the damage of all subsequent shots by 10%. The effect stacks up to 4 times depending on the level of the talent.
Each rank of this bonus improves a symbol in the Emergency Maneuver category:

• Emergency Maneuver: Trap. Increases damage dealt by traps spawned by this symbol.
• Emergency Maneuver: Shock Wave. Makes the shock wave twice as powerful.
• Emergency Maneuver: Breakout. Stuns enemies in a wider area.
• Emergency Maneuver: Dodge. Increases the duration of immunity to control effects from 4 to 7 seconds.
Storm Charge deals 10/20/30/40% more damage.
Increases damage dealt by the aspect by 5/10/15/20%.
Increases damage dealt by the following abilities by 7/14/21/28%:

• Rapid Fire (Gunner),
• Lead Carousel (Outlaw),
• Arrow Storm (Archer).
Increases damage dealt by the following abilities by 9/18/27%:

• Pulse Shot (Gunner),
• Sureshot (Outlaw),
• Piercing Shot (Archer).
Increases the following stats by 1/2/3:

• Mobility when dashing,
• Mobility after healing,
• Mobility when wounded.
Astral Cannon deals 15/30/45% more damage to enemies affected by Storm Charge. The duration of Storm Charge on them will be refreshed.
Increases all damage by 4/8/12%.
If the target takes damage from Piercing Flare, the range of Thunder Barrier will be increased by 2/4/6 yards.
If Piercing Flare hits enemies in an awakened sphere of the Aspect of Magic, it grants the god 1/2/3 Astral Cannon charge(s).
Allows you to modify artifacts and add attributes that increase damage to an invasion army.

When you unlock this node, you will be able to gain sparks of the army in the third distortion of each series. Each spark type adds a bonus to the artifact that increases damage to the respective invasion army. Applying the same spark again will increase that bonus.

An artifact can have up to 3 attributes. There is a special spark that changes attributes. You can get one from each distortion during a single invasion.

Increases the amount of Cognition you gain by 20%.


 
These sparks add unique attributes, increasing damage to enemies of the corresponding army. Minimum bonus is 2%, maximum is 9%. When applied again, sparks increase the bonus by 1%. One legendary artifact can have 3 different attributes, meaning you can deal increased damage to three different invasion armies. Epic and rare artifacts can have 2 and 1 attribute(s) respectively. Keep in mind that modifying the artifact – adding, upgrading, or replacing attributes – costs credits.

Artifact attributes are not the only way you can increase your damage to invaders. Flavius's laboratory offers a few bonuses. To save you the effort of calculating the combined bonus of all the nodes and attributes, we added these attributes (damage to army) to the stat list.

If you want to change an attribute, you can use a Spark of Potential. You can get only four per invasion – one for each completed distortion. When applied, it can replace the selected attribute with a bonus to damage to another army. Using this spark will reduce the stat value by 1-3 points. For example, during an Oceanid invasion, you upgraded the bonus to damage to them to 9%. But when the enemy left Aelion, you decided to change this bonus. When you apply a Spark of Potential, damage to another army will be boosted instead, but the new bonus will be 6, 7, or 8%.



The new aspect will be available to all PC players on December 17!

Hello Martians,

We just pushed a patch live that contains a lot of nice changes. We worked quite hard to push out a final big patch before our Christmas break and this is it. Please be sure to carefully read the full changelog below, there are some big changes you should be aware of.

Changelog for Season 8 Patch 9

Changes and big additions:
- We added a progress bar to the loading screens and optimized general spawning behaviour
- From now on the behaviour for buildings and PVP areas is as follows: Every building part that touches or is inside a PVP area will be treated as destructible. Any building part outside will be safe.
- We added a lot of logs and debug output in this release to find some of the trickier bugs out there. We might ask some of you to run the game with special arguments to enable the outputs.
- Increased durability of armor pieces
- First small batch of rebalance of loot distribution. You will find some deuterium being lootable without devices in the Ice Area and you will find power cores in more locations than just the Juggernaut.
- The amount of scrapped resources now depend on the durability of the scrapped items
- We added rank-based device access to the game. You can now lock/secure devices via the interaction wheel and only people with permission to open secured devices will be able to use them. You can specify this permission per rank.
- We added AI loot protection to the game as well. When an AI dies, only the player who dealt the most damage to it (and their alliance) will be able to loot the AI remains for the first 3 minutes. Afterwards it's available to everyone like before. This should greatly reduce the chances of "loot thieves" at the Juggernaut for example.
- It's winter holiday season in the Ice Area again! Merry Christmas!

- Fixed issues resulting from button mashing during interactions like vaulting

- Yet another protocol fix
- Fix for building devices being not interactable
- Fix for Exosuit Achievement not unlocking
- Fix for the EULA not being scrollable with gamepads and controllers
- Fix for AI not despawning when losing their target
- Fix for AI following the player indefinitely
- Fix for the Memory Capsule protocol (it will not be unlocked the moment you press the "Launch" button)
- Fixes for AI spawners
- Fix for the tutorial cutscene running in an endless loop
- Optimized ingame world map
- General Localization update
- Fixed button prompts in multiple parts of the UI
- Fixed not being able to upgrade a base
- Fixed some bugs related to achievement stat tracking
- Fixes for the Juggernaut walking out of the crater (it can reach the top of the crater but not much further - still buildings in shooting range can be damaged by it, so keep it in mind!)

This is most likely the last patch this year. Some of us (me (Das_Emu) included) will be on our holidays starting next week and not be back until next year. Some of us are still around next week, but we will most likely only push out a quick hotfix for potential new critical issues.

Please be aware that community mangement feedback will also be greatly reduced over the holidays. We try to keep an eye on the servers and answer the occasional question here and there, but we will not be able to give the full-on support we give usually.

For next early year we plan on continueing our quest for proper fixes for some of the outstanding issues, like the private servers, the inventory issues and potentially some more rebalancing.

Hey, guys!

Finally it's time! Beyond Senses launches into Early Access. By "Early Access" we don't mean that the game is incomplete and that problems can be expected, but that we still haven't implemented the content we want in the "finished" version. Theoretically the game cannot be finished at all, because we aimed for a modular structure.

Unlike other multiplayer horror games on the market, Beyond Senses has more than one game mode. This makes Beyond Senses not just a game, but many games in one game! You can level your characters and monsters, improve your skills and items, and constantly unlock new elements! Multiplayer mode is not compulsory - you can also play against Artificial Intelligence if you prefer (also possible in Multiplayer)!

We are open for criticism, improvement suggestions and ideas. Beyond Senses is the seed of a potentially gigantic tree and you are the water and the sunlight!

As a little thank you for the first supporters, you can redeem the following codes in the main menu!

The upcoming game modes can differ completely from the current game modes and make the gameplay feel completely different! BANISHMENT is constructed completely different from the currently available game modes HUNT and EGOIST.

Unfortunately due the ban of the Rock Path Collective partner on Steamworks we are no longer able to push any updates for our games. If you really enjoyed to play I recommend to wait for Remastered versions of our games that now will published under different publisher that now responsible for games distribution.

What does it mean for unpublished Indie Game titles or your previous titles?
All previously published games will get Remastered game versions and pushed under Hase Games publishment. And all unpublished games will also got their own release chance on Steam Store.
