Another update just went live! Celebrate as you see fit! I suggest dancing or whistling. The update is not super meaty, but it contains various fixes and improvements that I'm sure some of you will appreciate.

Here's a rundown of what the update contains:

There’s a huge update incoming, but before it lands, you still have chance to pick up some fantastic items in special quests and the login event!

Event

You receive the one-time login reward for being logged in for at least 60 minutes!
If you don’t collect your reward from the letter box by 19th February 2020, if will be deleted.

Login Event: 14th December 2019 (from midnight CET) until 14th December 2019 (11:59 PM CET)

Daily Quest

Your daily dungeon training will be extra worthwhile during the event from 9th December 2019 (from 9:00 AM CET) until 16th December 2019 (8:59 AM CET)! Pick up 20x Luriel’s Magic Stone of the Wise every day simply by completing 3 dungeons of the right level.
Weekly Quest

In addition, you can get your hands on 2x Luriel’s Poru Seal (gold) for the weekly event quest.If you’re already taking on the daily quest, you’ll complete the weekly one at the same time!

Period: 9th December 2019 (from 9:00 AM CET) until 16th December 2019 (8:59 AM CET)

Unfortunately, the game did not score the expected number of players, so updates will rarely come out, but do not worry, the game will be updated and maintained.

Joke! Here is what has changed and improved (by the way, this update will allow us to introduce a lot of content and new mechanics very soon):

Bug fixes:
- Improved server stability
- Improved network stability
- Fixed shooter NPCs aiming. NPC bandits with firearms have vertical aiming
- NPCs always have extra loot along with default weapon and ammo
- Body armor affects whole body

New features:
- Completely new building system (build preview follows camera view, new rules for blocks placement)
- Weapons dropped by NPC bandits now half broken
- Toolbox now can be dropped by NPC bandits

Gameplay rebalancing:
- Headshot damage received by NPC bandits increased
- Limbs damage received by NPC bandits slightly increased
- NPC's lost enemy search time increased

Guidelines about new building system
Foundation is base building block. Foundation required to place walls (door frames and window frames as well), pillars and stairs including foundation stairs. Foundation placement height can be aligned manually. It's not allowed to place foundation to deep in the ground. If one of the sides of foundation covered by landscape you still can place walls or pillars on it.
Floor placement requires at least 3 corners to be supported by walls or pillars. Floor blocks can't hold each other. Pillars placement recommended to make wider constructions. Foundation stairs required foundation block support and ground support as well.
To build second floor or higher floor blocks required. Floor also can support walls, pillars and stairs. If stairs placed instead of floor you can place walls and pillars above. Building destruction follows same rules as building placement.

Attention! With this global update, all previous game progress has been reset.

Note: before play we strongly recommend to delete following folder C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\RuinsSurvival to prevent unpredictable issues with game client.

The Scottish Open online tournament is now live in Snooker 19! Head online and take your best shot for a chance to claim the Highlander reward pack at the end of the tournament.

ICARUS Online Transfer

Icarus Online (Brazil Server) will open the migration on December 11th, 2019. Maintenance will take 13 Hours or less for this matter. We will be adding new server called Parna on the NA Region for the Icaurs Online players.

Ranger’s Compensation

Players experienced issue with the Ranger’s Quest that NPC Kurubo is giving. For this, we will compensate every Ranger class in NA and EU region by sending the Exchange item to all the players’ Ellora’s Storage.

Silent night, holy night… not in NosTale! The wild cats are back once more, trying to take over in our Winter Event. What’s more, you have the special chance to create a reindeer-drawn sleigh – this sleek ride would make even Santa Claus turn green with envy, though at this festive time of year he can’t keep a merry smile off of his face at seeing you ride it.

Magic Sleigh with Red-nosed Reindeer
The NPC Santa Claus has something very special in store for you. In exchange for a Red-nosed Reindeer Bead (available from quests and the Winter Event raids listed below) and a Magic Sleigh (available in the NosMall), Santa Claus will create a super-fast Magic Sleigh with Red-nosed Reindeer for you.

Specialist Partners
With Maru’s Specialist Partner Card you can transform Tom and Kliff into the Millennial Tiger.
With the second Specialist Partner Card ‘Maru in Mother’s Fur’ you can transform Tom and Kliff into a tiger disguised as the siblings’ caring mother.
The partner has three razor-sharp skills: Hi-yah!, Spin Up and Tiger Power

Raid against Maru the Millennial Tiger
Challenge Maru and his followers in the raid! Simply use Maru’s Raid Seal to take him on. If you’re successful, you’ll be rewarded with his special Tiger Chest, possibly containing the ‘Doppelgänger’ title amongst other things.

Note: You can neither make yourself invisible, nor summon miniatures as Jajamaru in this raid.

You can earn Maru’s Raid Seal and Brass Coins as your reward for completing the daily quests.

Event Quest
Talk to the Wanderer NPC to exchange Brass Coins for the Wanderer’s Chest and the great items hidden inside.

Red Bean Rice Cakes and Sesame Oil
Collect Red Bean Rice Cakes and Sesame Oil by hunting monsters, then exchange the items for a reward or use them yourself. The cakes restore you and your NosMate’s HP and MP, while the Sesame Oil is useful in the raid.

Snowman Raid
Once you’ve completed the quest and mastered the Time-Space, you can get your revenge on the Snow Monster in the Vikings’ name. Grab your friends and bring it the heat! In reward you’ll earn a Raid Box containing awesome specialist partner cards, the ‘Sleepy Head’ title and other wintry event items.

Daily Quests from Six NPCs in NosVille
Meet good and evil reindeer, let the bells ring out, watch how scarves are made from magical wool and knitting needles and much more. Collect colourful stockings for completing quests and exchange them for a Christmas Gift Box.

Happy New Year… Literally!
Collect golden letters (H, A, P, Y) and white letters (N, E, W, Y, A, R) that are dropped by monsters. Once you have enough to spell the words HAPPY NEW YEAR, you can exchange them for a Happy New Year Box and/or a Happy New Year Golden Box. If fortune’s smiling, you’ll find a Movement Scroll, fancy costumes or a variety of fireworks inside.
