MXGP 2019 - The Official Motocross Videogame - Milestone Community Manager


Here we are again with a new patch. It fixes some bugs of the game like the official team bikes audio while playing as a custom rider and some minor bugs on online spectator mode.
But let's move on to the most important improvement of this patch: the "too fast" error on time attack is finally fixed.

Chernobylite Complete Edition - Chernobylite Team
Hi everyone!

Another week of work in the studio is behind us. We are working hard, in order to prepare new patches to fix some issues reported. Also we are making progress with the content for the next Mega-Patch. In addition, since the last report, we fixed the problems with the storage system and the shotgun you reported to us. Thank you for that!

We see that the changes we make and the content we add are the things which you like. We recently received a large number of positive reviews, and we are grateful for that.

Remember that everything we are working on, is to diversify and lengthen your gameplay. We want to give you freedom in terms of gameplay style.

The Red Forest

The preparation of the new level, The Red Forest, is at a really advanced stage. Our Level Designers are working hard on many aspects and are refining the elements of the map so you will see the effects of their work soon. In the meantime, we’ll show you a couple of screenshots of it to arouse your curiosity:





Food Ration Splitting




The Red Forest is not the only thing we are currently working on. The current system of sharing food with companions got a lot of mixed opinions, so we are testing new ways of making it more transparent both in terms of how it works, and the appearance of the interface. You can expect the refreshed version of this system in the next Mega-Patch.


Weapon Upgrade System



Our Community liked the Weapon Upgrade System, that was added in the previous Mega-Patch. Thank you very much for the really large amount of feedback. That leads us to the fact that in the near future we want to add more elements to it, so the possibilities of personalizing your weapon during the gameplay will be much greater. In addition, we are still improving the readability of the elements, and we want to introduce a system of indicators in the form of stripes, that will show you more precisely how your weapon parameters change in a given configuration.

BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO CHERNOBYLITE



On our Twitter account, you could see the first episode of the series called "Beginner’s Guide to Chernobylite" - a weekly dose of simple information about what to expect during gameplay and about some game elements. Expect various surprises too!


BEHIND THE SCENES



We also returned to revealing the trivia about our project, in the form of "Behind the scenes". Every week on Facebook you will be able to learn something that you may not have had a clue about, or what you accidentally missed on our social media. Furthermore, you can ask questions and comment about this matter, which will allow us to create this type of content ahead of time to satisfy your curiosity.


DEV STREAMS ON STEAM



Also last week, we conducted a number of activities on Steam, in the form of Developer Live Streams, and our brave Devs played the game and answered Community Questions. During these struggles you could see, among others:

You can now check-out the newly prepared features in the Experimental branch.

We've rearranged blocks into new categories, added some new blocks and a new view for the Tech Tree. There are also some changes in Creative Mode to allow building "unfinished" blocks and use other tools.

Here is the full list of changes in 1.0.6.0:
  • New features - Blocks
    • added new blocks - armor and glass pieces
    • rearranged all blocks into more cateogories, according to their intended usage (bases, vehicles, cargo,...)
    • added a Tech Tree view (switch button in top right corner in the Block Catalog) - displays all in-game blocks, even locked ones with the lock reason (ie. by quest etc.)

  • New features - Creative
    • added welding & cutting of blocks into the Creative Mode - with Multitool you can create "unfinished" states of blocks, with a block equipped, you delete blocks by one click (as you are used to)
    • possible to use other tools - Block Mover, Weapon, Scanner - you need to set them to some key in keybinding in options, as there are no inventory in Creative

  • New features - Building
    • added keyboard modifier for building "in the air" - it's now possible to build ungrounded blocks
    • faster block coloring (mainly in Creative)

  • Bugfixes
    • temporary switch from 1st person to 3rd person close-up if camera is behind the wall - to prevent looking "through the wall"
    • fixed colliders on Hinge joints - reduced unnecessary vibrations in extreme positions
    • fixed graphical glitch with weather - roofing does not influence fog appearance anymore
    • fixed some overflows in HDR post-processing - hopefully eliminated the "black ink smearing" bug
    • fixed blocked Quests functionality (in case player exited the Drop Pod too early)
    • tutorial: removed direct block equip of a block without using Hotbar (a little advanced feature for newcomers, could lead to deadlock in tutorial)
    • tutorial: removed altimeter from cockpit UI
Imperator: Rome - Para_Rod
Starting with version 1.3 Livy, Music Modding is now available on Imperator!

If you want to try it out yourself, a new mod has been uploaded to Steam today that adds all the soundtrack from
"Europa Universalis Rome" and changes the main track to be the one that shipped with the 2008 version. It should automatically extract itself on the “Documents > Paradox Interactive > Imperator > mod” folder, and from there you just need to enable it through the PDX launcher on Steam and then make sure the build is 1.3+ .

It’s been a while! Hope you still remember me. I am that guy who made the Loading Screen thingy.

A couple of years ago I announced Seven: Reboot and was expecting to finish it in under a year. But as it turns out making games is hard! I’ve spent the past 2 years making this game and adding something new almost every day. What was expected to be a quick and easy game turned into the most interesting project I’ve ever worked on.

And it is not done. Not even close!

But now I can show you this!
It is the first public gameplay for the game. It is not a final trailer, just a little teaser for you.

That is all I can show for now but if you want more, you can join the Seven: Reboot discord server and follow the development of the game. There I post weekly free form game-dev logs. We often discuss the changes and design choices. We are a small community but everybody is welcome to join!

Soon (or not) there will be a short public beta test of the game.
It will be announced in this discord server. If you want to try the game at its current state then join to be informed. No need to solve ARG puzzles anymore, Hehe! Everybody can play!

The previous private test went fine.
People who have managed to solve the puzzles joined the server and played through the game together. Most of them said that the game is good and gave a lot of useful feedback.

Here are some quotes from the testers:

LongingRhombus9: "It is a puzzle game that requires quite the bit of thinking in which almost everything there is, is relevant to the solutions in one way or another, and the satisfaction of completing is so good. Hehe."

SidSef: “It's a puzzle game where you don't require any cryptography skills to play or enjoy. I like that it contains a vast amount of secrets and always feels like there is more to be unlocked as even after the credits of the game I was still hooked and interested wanting to go back and play more. I'm sure there is stuff I haven't even found yet!”

Rito141: “I would describe it as a simple, yet complicated at the same time, really enjoyable puzzle game, which has a nice atmosphere. And I’d suggest it to pretty much anyone who likes a good challenge”

The game is slowly taking shape
and it was such an adventure making it. I am learning skills I didn’t ever know existed! When it will be done, it is going to be something nobody has ever played before.

I can’t give an estimated release date.
"I don't want to rush this, I want to make it the best it can be. It may take 1 or 2 or 3 or god knows how many years until I am satisfied with what I’ve made. So, don’t expect it to be out soon. join the discord, and let’s make this game together!
