Hello guys! In this devlog I wanted to tell you about what I've been working on these past weeks.

First side quests.

I've started to work on first side quests in the game. I am still in testing approaches for quests, but so far it seems to work fine. I am trying to get away from simple kill/collect formula of the quests as much as I can, and for the most part, except for some starting quests that are supposed to be training ones, all side quests are quite complex.
I am trying to write an element of mystery to each quest, tough choices, different ways to solve them that depend on your character build, etc.
I will show you guys a couple of teasers from some of the quests I made:


I plan to have at least 15-20 side quests in each of the 7-8 game zones in the game, in addition to the main storyline and faction questlines. A lot of work to do, but I hope this will give players a few hours of very exciting gameplay.

Combat changes

I've decided to make a couple of combat changes for mage and archer builds. Now you can cast spells or shoot arrows and move at the same time. I decided to do this not really because I wanted to add more action, but more of balancing concerns, so these types of builds could easier kite enemies and escape tough situations.

I am planning an early access release sometime in 2020, probably spring/summer, so stay tuned for that. Also, I was planning some sort of alpha testing in January/February, I will tell more when the time comes.

Schedule:

Instruction:
1. Every player will receive a Lord Pass at the beginning of the season.
2. Player can earn points to level up their passes and claim the corresponding rewards.
3. Players with a Lv.11 or higher Castle are qualified to upgrade to a Royal Pass to get extra rewards.
4. Weekly quests WILL NOT be reset until they're all finished or the whole events ends.

Points:
1. Completing Royal missions will grant points.
2. Player can unlock more Royal Missions by purchasing the Royal Pass, and get extra rewards from leveling up their pass.
3. Royal missions of each week vary, and will reset on the end of the season. Please complete the tasks before they expire.

Rewards:
Player can upgrade their Lord Pass to obtain unique commander, troop appearance and castle exterior:

1. Barret, also known as Bloodbeard, is a ruthless and bloodthirsty leader of a company of mercenaries. He can lower enemies’ healing effect and increase infantry’s attribution.



2. House Reed Spearmen, the rare Spearmen troop appearance that provides buffs to Spearmen attack, health,defense, Army Carrying Capacity as well as expansion of your rallied army.



3. A permanent Season 3 exclusive castle exterior--Mint Disguise, which grants a buff of 10% to Gold Dragons Production, 10% to Gold Dragons Capacity as well as increasing Motivation Limit and Investment Amount!

4. How to Evolve Digimon to Valkyrimon
1) Valkyrimon is a Jogress form evolved once more from Silphymon, the first Jogress form of Gatomon and Hawkmon.

2) Basic Conditions
- Gatomon Lv.70 or above, Silphymon evolution slot open.
- Complete quests and obtain [Aurvandil].
- Use [Aurvandil] to open Gatomon's Valkyrimon evolution slot.
- Hawkmon Lv.70 or above, Silphymon evolution slot open.
- Obtain [Fenrir]. (Sold from Cash Shop)
