Oggdo Bogdo appears to be giving a lot of new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order players quite a bit of trouble. As the first true boss that Cal comes across during his journey (not including his brief tangle with the Second Sister in the opening mission), Oggdo Bogdo quickly ramps up the difficulty with some devastating lunge and tongue attacks. Microsoft whammed out a surprising amout of news this week at XO19, including announcing new games from Obsidian, Dontnod, and the makers of Virginia. This was also the week Human Head Studio shut down then joined Bethesda, Epic released a bad new game, and the hacks in Hollywood bowed to so-called ‘fans’ seeking to censor the Sonic The Hedgehog movie. Some big updates, ports to new platforms, and expanded mod support are coming to Dicey Dungeons, lead developer Terry Cavanagh has announced, laying out his plans for the deckbuilding roguelike’s future. Our Brendy said the game was quite good in our Dicey Dungeons review when it launched three months ago, not just because you can power through episodes as furry bearlike dice, and the devs have since given it six updates and a Halloween event. Soon players will be able to make even more of an impact on Dicey Dungeons themselves, thanks to the upcoming mod-focused update 1.7.

This is one of the many questions that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order asks, placing you in the shoes of Jedi Cal Kestis, whose past has left his connection with the Force damaged. As you progress through the game’s impressive and extensive campaign, you’ll begin to heal Cal’s connection with the Force and unlock more and more ways to use it.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that BioWare are leaving Anthem to slowly rot, considering Fort Tarsis is filled with bones, and there has been little in the way of new content outside of the recent Halloween event, Season of Skulls. But a new rumour now suggests that BioWare are planning a revival. Much more than the upcoming Christmas event, Icetide, and more akin to “a game-changing expansion like Destiny’s critically acclaimed Taken King,” sources close to BioWare have described the update as Anthem 2.0 or Anthem Next. A report from Kotaku claims that the update will completely overhaul the game, bringing it more in line with player desires.
