It has been an incredible launch week for the team and we are so glad to see that you are enjoying Crying Suns. All your comments, reviews, and even videos, give us a lot of motivation to go forward and improve our game everyday!

Updates
To sum up this first new update, we mainly worked on:
  • correcting blocking problems and crashes
  • achievements unlocking problems
  • rewriting, correcting typos, improving texts globally
  • improving interface, graphics and sounds
  • and of course correcting a few other minor bugs

At the end of this post, you will find the whole detailed list of corrections we made thanks to your valuable feedbacks.

Don't hesitate to use the Steam forum or our discord channel to report any problem you might encounter in the game. Your feedbacks are crucial for us to improve the game experience.

Story and events
  • [FR] Lots of rewrites, typos corrections and overall text improvements in both interface and events
  • [EN] A few typos fixes and Breeder drones were renamed Krafter

Interface, Graphics and Sounds
  • Added a video option to control the framerate in the option menu, players should now be able to choose among 30, 60, 120 and uncapped FPS
  • Added hover information for units with absorb shields or on asteroid cells
  • Added a few new npc pictures for pirates and civilian children
  • Improved the health bar colors for squadrons to hint at health state
  • Improved the quality of some graphic assets (NPC)

BugFix Major
  • Fixed an issue where some players were stuck without any interface after loading their game
  • Fixed an issue where in some "undeploying" situation the dock would get "stuck" and unable to deploy anything for the remaining of the fight
  • Fixed an issue where players who did some shenanigans with their save files could face the wrong boss for the current chapter
  • Fixed an issue where the Okonkwo achievement was not triggered. Will be retroactively awarded to player who missed it
  • Removed the "Jeef Merkk" achievement as for now it was a bit tedious to unlock without being able to replay the chapter

BugFix Minor
  • Fixed an issue where the regen indicator on squadrons was still displayed while in command center
  • Fixed an issue where units that were in the pushed back zone after hull bar explosion were engaging adjacent units and slowing them down
  • Fixed an issue where the electromagnetic storm duration was not properly translated
  • Fixed an issue where the quantity of reinforcement in mother "call to arms" ability was wrong in easy
  • Fixed an issue where some ambushed enemies were not deploying weapons in all their available docks
  • Fixed an issue where buying the pirate transponder while on a shop was not updating local shop prices
Skybolt Zack - GMGMarketing
We are really excited to announce our "Crowd Scored Demo" for Skybolt Zack!

How does it work? I hear you ask, all players who participate in the demo will have their scores recorded which will go towards a total community score unlocking rewards at every milestone reached! The first of the 4 tiers of reward is a 5% discount on all purchases made during launch week!

The Wild Eight - DeadRich
The Wild Eight is well on its way to come out of Early Access - and while we're slaving away at the game's final version, here's a patch to hold you guys over - featuring some bug and error fixes.


  • Fixed several issues related to animal behaviour
  • Fixed an issue in which quest marks did not update upon completing a quest
  • Fixed an issue in which player’s custom mark set on the zoomed-in map was increased in size



....There's a lot of fixes included in this update that we can't disclose yet - but a lot of them have to do with Act 2, so stay tuned for more info on that.

Last Oasis - Avalanche
Dear Nomads,

After collecting lots of feedback from our beta testers, we came to the conclusion that Last Oasis has not yet reached the level of quality we want to offer to you.

Because of that, we are postponing the Early Access release to the first quarter of 2020. A specific new date will be announced when we will be 200% confident with it.

We are going to use the next months to improve the quality of the gameplay and add more content to keep you engaged with Last Oasis. This means more mechanics, items, creatures, buildings, features and end-game activities to please both the PVE and PVP crowds. And, of course, a lot of refinements to the existing features.

Our community will always be the first place to announce any new update and keep you included in the conversation about the game. On our Discord server you can expect to get important information before anyone else, see sneak peeks, get exclusive contents and goodies. We are also working on implementing in-game rewards for everyone that engaged in this community before the release. And without further ado, we would like to present you our latest teaser to show how much the game has progressed so far - and it will only get better from now on.

Greetings fellow earthlings!

In case you were wondering, nope, we haven't dropped dead after Early Access release run, nor have we been abducted by you-know-who sporting big black eyes and the skin tan of a full ashtray. We’re still here, live ‘n kickin’, firing missiles, mowing down enemy fighters… as people usually do. Today however, we wanted to share some details on what we’ve been up to lately.

If you've looked at our planned roadmap, the next big milestone, appropriately named Skillshot, and everything for that oh-jolly-what-a-most-festive occasion is still going according to plan. In our internal version we're already very „skilled“, our missiles are as blind as bats (we might tweak that a bit…) and critical failures plague our ship.

We're preparing lots of goodies for this upcoming update: dumbfire missiles, CSF mechanics, entire skill system, new ship modules, new equipment... and a big bundle of Tough love bug-spray for all the bugs you guys reported!

Thank you for providing all the awesome feedback! The upcoming update will be better thanks to you! And that one is just the first of many.

See you with the new update in a little while. In the meantime, I made a bet I can make a mid-flight precise strike against a small moving enemy fighter using only an unguided capital ship busting torpedo, so I really should get back to that…
Warlander - Clock Drive Games
Greetings all!

We talked a lot about Warlander in the past months and presented you with the most important aspect of the game - combat and its features. We also showed you the Shrine of Seers as one of the many environments of the game (you can check the other environments in the video here). Now, we need to talk about the future of Warlander - where it is now and where it will be in the months to come...

Warlander was initially conceived as an ambitious project. When the original concept was presented, the whole team was quite eager to jump into it and be a part of something as great as this game. However, the scope of the project turned a little too huge for an indie team, even one as highly motivated as ours is. We are sure that we created a unique take on stamina-based combat and an interesting setting that has all the hallmarks of a great IP. In order to avoid doing wrong by it, we decided to take a streamlined route to finish the game. To do that, Warlander is in the process of genre pivoting. While the main gameplay features - tactical combat, slicing, aiming - will stay the same, the form of the game is going to be changed. It will become a roguelike combat-focused action game set in a procedurally generated world. We believe that this shift represents a perfect match for what we want to make in terms of gameplay. Also, this is something that is both achievable and more importantly completely keeps the focus on the main feature of Warlander - combat.



The Procedurally generated map is divided into three thematic tiers, each with its own perils and mysteries. Arenas will be quite different - in most of them, Bruce is attacked by the members of the Techno Order and must kill all the enemies by using combat and environment. In others, Bruce will have the opportunity to approach the Devouring Tree (aka the Tree from the Trailer) and offer pieces of enemies to it to obtain access to new combat powers. And of course, you will also have the opportunity to fight with different bosses. If Bruce fails and is killed at any point during the run, the Forest resurrects him, but at the cost of the player needs to start the new run.

As you can see, this structure offers a unique experience for each playthrough, since no two runs are alike and thus every player is granted with a special - personal, so to speak - adventure each time a game begins. Arenas with combat will have randomly generated enemies so the players may try different strategies and the battles are never the same. Random setup of the environment which players can use to kill enemies makes every arena feel different and memorable - “Do you remember that time when I squashed Technos under a ton of rocks?!” All this is in line with our (and we believe yours, too) idea to make Warlander a unique and challenging game, where players will have the opportunity to test their swordsmanship.



Second, our goal is to make a game that will test your skills. Making a challenging and engaging game is never an easy task. Numerous rounds of testing are needed in order to balance it properly, especially a roguelike type of game. That's why we decided to pursue the Early Access way. Our initial timeline remains the same, with small adaptation - the release of EA version in early 2020, and full release later that year. That’s why we kindly ask you to support us in EA and give us the much-appreciated feedback that we plan to use in order to make Warlander an engaging experience. Now, we know that a lot of people don’t like the EA or had a bad experience with it (or great, and thus have quite high expectations of games in EA). Still, we love Warlander and we decided to do all that it takes to deliver it to our community. That’s why we’ll keep you informed and updated about the progress regularly, so you can see our commitment for yourself. By being part of the EA community, you will be giving us invaluable feedback and influence the development of the game in the right direction.

Rules
1. The minimum required participants for this Premier Constructed Tournament is 32 players. If there are not enough players present, the Tournament will sill be held, but the announced Cash prize will instead be added to the prize pool of the next big Tournament we organize.

3. Each participant with highest Mythology rank of Gold or lower will be granted 3 Card Packs as a participation prize.

4. Each Constructed Tournament will be played in Standard Swiss Rounds + Final Cut (Direct Eliminations) based on the number of participants.

5. All matches during the Swiss Rounds will be best of 1. The Cut and the Final match will be best of 3.

You will be able to make changes to your deck during the Tournament. This includes individual cards and wholesale swapping to a different deck.

6. You will have 5 min to join your match after a new Round starts. If you do not check-in in time, you will receive a loss for that Round, but can still play in the next one unless you were eliminated.

7. All standard rules of our online tournament system apply.

To participate in the Tournament simply select the Tournament Mode from the play screen and Join. The Tournament will be available to join at least 1 hour prior the start time.
