We've updated the game to include French. If the version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu reads "0.5.13007" or above, you have the correct version.
This joins our existing languages of Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish, and our translators are busy working away trying to get other languages ready for full release.
If you spot any issues with the translation, we'll get them fixed up - please report them on our translations sub-forum here:
We have a lot of words in the game (over 150,000) so it is a big effort for our translators, many of whom are community members doing this in their spare time. Right now, we're hopeful German will be completed in the next few weeks, but Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Polish and Italian look like they'll be added after full release. If you wish to stay up to date on how our translations are progressing, you can do so on the post here:
Aside from the ones in the pipeline already, we're open to supporting more languages. This depends on many factors, such as the sales and wishlists from those countries, along with willing community members. If you're interested in helping out, please post on our translations sub-forum linked above. While we have your attention, a couple of things you may find interesting/useful...
You can get your name in the game as a randomly generated crew member! To do that, sign up to the newsletter here:
We're busy working away on our full release, and in the next couple of weeks we should be updating the Beta Branch with a sneak preview of this for people who can't wait to jump in. That'll be a great time to help give feedback on bugs and balancing, and all being well we'll release this Autumn!
If you like the game, don't forget to leave a review :)

Despawn darts that hit low-LOD capsules of dinosaurs as this can make dart appear to float in air instead of hitting dinosaur

If you’ve been following us, you may remember that in our last news blast we told you that we’ll be doing a write up of the events that we’ve been at.
The time has come and this week we’re looking at Gamescom and EGX Rezzed!
EGX Rezzed
Earlier this year in April, thanks to ID@Xbox, Raji: An Ancient Epictraveledd over to London, UK, to be a part of EGX Rezzed!
The event was a great success, with everyone from players to the other event hosts noticing Raji and the amount of attention that it attracted!
Gamescom 2019
Gamescom, held annually in Koln, Germany, is the biggest gaming expo in Europe, so it is only natural that we really wanted to be a part of it. Once again, our great friends at ID@Xbox picked us up and brought Raji to Germany!
The Raji team themselves were not able to attend this event in person as they were extremely hard at work on the game’s development, but here is a quick video of what the event looked like:
A Look at the Game
This particular news blast has been rather short, so we’ve got an extra video of the game to share.
What is special about this video clip? Well, it shows two very important parts of the game. Firstly, this video is taken from our upcoming new demo so it will be new for most of you. Here you can see that we’ve given Raji a new way to cross over broken paths. At the same time, we’ve worked on improving the art and visuals of the game, from the fantasticly detailed background to smaller more subtle additions such as hidden art that you can only really notice if you slow down and look closely at the game!
That’s it for now, we hope that you’ve enjoyed this! We’ll be back next week with a round-up of our final two events - ID@Xbox Open House and PAX - MIX!
