Nowhere Prophet - Demozilla
A lot of bugfixes and tweaks to the AI and balance here we are with the first sizable update to the game outside the preview branch.

Version 1.00.011
After the initial hotfixes that just helped make the game more stable, this one will make it feel different. The AI has regained its smarts and the enemy decks have been tweaked to be more even across the different factions, and also to ramp up more smoothly without punishing you too much (it's still a dangerous world) in map 1.

Thank you to everyone who played in the PREVIEW branch and helped me finetune this. Double thanks for those who filled out the form.

Speaking of: I'd still love to hear your feedback on the difficulty changes. So if you play, wether in PREVIEW or not, please do take some time to fill out the difficulty form. Your collective experience will help me make the game play even better in the future.

Continuous balance
So now, with what feels like the first solid update out of the door, what's next?

I'm obviously not naive enough to think the game is now perfectly balanced so I'm planning to spend more time on this, which is why the form will be really helpful.

I've also already noted down a bunch of cards and effects that may be too strong (I'm looking at you Stim Set!) or too weak (Hello Sabotage), so if you have some thoughts, please let me know!

Next steps
And in the meantime I will finally have to the time to look at some of the pesky bugs that have been popping up. A number of people have experienced the game soft-locking: It stops responding and no longer works as it should. Usually quitting and loading the game solves that issue so these bugs weren't super high priority right away, but they are too annoying to not take a closer look.

Then beyond those I'm looking at some quality of life improvements. Improved filter and sorting options in your follower screen for one. And I've also scoured the forums and my brain for more useful suggestions.

And beyond that, I'm already thinking about new content for the game, possibly some new cards and convoys? I'm not making any promises yet, the stability and quality of the game comes first since anything new will disrupt the status quo so I want to be careful.

But there's more to come! So thank you everyone for playing!

- Martin

AUDICA: Rhythm Shooter - HMXMudry
Hey everyone!

AUDICA update v0.3.2 has arrived, bringing with it the most challenging track in AUDICA history - a brand new single from DragonForce that is not for the faint of heart.

Playable in AUDICA the same day it was released to the world, DragonForce’s new single, “Highway to Oblivion”, will be a true test of your skills and endurance. Clocking in at just under 7 minutes, this brutal track will test the limits for players of all difficulty levels. If seven minutes of blasting beats is too challenging for you, no need to worry, there's also a standard AUDICA length version available.

Here’s the full list of what’s included in this update:

  • New song:
    • DragonForce – “Highway to Oblivion”
      • Standard version can be found in the song list.
      • Full-length album version can be found in the "Extras" section of the song list. The full-length version does not contribute to your Total Leaderboard score.
  • Gameplay tweaks and adjustments:
    • For players who use the Valve Index Controllers or Vive Wands - we added the ability to set your trigger threshold to "click." You can use the click button at the end of the trigger to fire.
    • Added multi-tempo authoring support for the DragonForce track.
    • Improved performance while songs are loading.
    • General performance improvements during gameplay.

As always, thank you all for your continued support! See you on the leaderboards.

Dead Monarchy - Dead Monarchy Studios

Build 4.1 Patch Notes:

A small update that mainly addresses the UI issues related to the perks system/arena menu. I spent most of this week transferring things from the Steam builds over to the main project build (dev builds not playable steam builds) now that things seem stable. For the rest of this week and going into early next week, I'll be working on getting the basic perks set up for melee abilities.

Build 4.1 has been uploaded to the experimental branch. The next few updates will continue to be uploaded there.

Instructions to opt into the beta/experimental branch:

1. Within the Steam library list, right click 'Dead Monarchy", then select "Properties".
2. Towards the top of the window that pops up, click the "Betas" tab.
3. A dropdown menu list will then appear, select "experimental - Experimental branch".
4. The game should then automatically download and update to this build.
5. Once you have booted up the game, if you see "Build 4" in the main menu, then you are good to go.

UI Updates:

- Cooldowns for abilities are now displayed properly in ability tooltips.

- The use limits/charges of ranged abilities now show up in tooltips prior to acquiring the ability from the perks tree as opposed to only appearing when you have acquired the ability.

- Active abilities are now marked properly as "Active Abilities" in ability tooltips when viewing them within the perks tree.

- The cooldown UI fix is now also applied to abilities that you view on the shortcut bar during combat. So cooldowns will now show up properly in tooltips.

- Perks that improve active abilities are now marked properly as "Passive Perks" in ability tooltips.
Differently Fast - nessuno
It's a mystery build.
Outside the Lines - DecadeDecaf
So, within the past year I've become a much better programmer, and I started to dislike working on Outside the Lines because of how messy the code was. That being said, I spent the last few days cleaning up ALL of the code in the game. While doing so, I actually made a lot of changes that I think improve the game as a whole.
  • Most paint lasts MUCH longer, but smaller splatters clump together. This should hopefully make the game feel fuller and reduce any lag people may have been getting. Paint Bucket's alt fire is the only thing that still has a low duration.
  • Added three new achievements! Not letting you get a perfect game that easily!
  • Changed the font to a pixel art font so it's easier to read.
  • Changed the in-game logo to better match the promotional logo.
  • Player coverage and gun coverage now matters with all of the weapons. Before, some weapons would only consider one or none of the stats.
  • Wide Paintbrush's right click was toned down.
  • Increased the spawn rate of Erasers.
  • Increased the chance for the Thin Paintbrush to convert chalks.

Dream team: Laby and Nisha

‘We can do it all together, Nisha! We’ll make everyone happy!’
Laby's second class change path tells the most adorable story of the friendship between a girl and her mirror.
As Laby noticed that her mirror Nisha was gathering negative emotions whilst she was enjoying a care-free and joyful life, the girl decided to share everything with Nisha, both good and bad. Laby is completely convinced that this is the best way to help Nisha and all others as well as making the world a better place.
Selfless and full of good intentions, Laby uses the powerful bond between her and Nisha as a source of strength. Both make a promise of eternal friendship.
As Twinkle Child. Shining Romantica and Radiant Soul, Laby swirls with positive emotions in her second class change path. She pulls in her foes to surround them in a hail of colourful reeds, bright starlight or in a bombastic firework together with Nisha. Laby and Nisha’s attacks are strongest and most colourful when they find themselves in complete harmony.

Further Improvements

  • The battle starts as soon as you enter the dungeon (no wait period).
  • Battle logs have been removed. A window will appear instead that displays the battle results once the dungeon has been completed.

Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition - Adam

Hello skyfarers! We've got a small update for you today, and news of the next one.

Here's what you can expect in today's update:
  • Several creatures and locomotives have gained new attacks, improved AI, or visual updates. Here's a quick look at the new, much more menacing Scrive-Spinsters:

More details on the specific changes are in the patch notes below.

  • A horn for your locomotive. This has, bafflingly, been the second most requested feature since launch, and the number one source of creative gifts and submissions, including a chocolate train, an actual whistle, and a slideshow:

The horn has no gameplay effects whatsoever, but we think it sounds quite nice. You're, umm, welcome.

  • More variety for agent encounters in Eleutheria, bringing it up to the standards of the game's other regions.

  • Many other fixes and improvements – see the patch notes below for the full list.
We're also ready to announce the next major update: Hoarder.

Here's what to expect:
  • A new officer: the Chiropterous Hoarder! Recruit a winged horror of profound cunning and unreliable manners. Rumoured to have once been one of the Masters of old London, this peddlar of immortality has fallen on hard times. Take it on a macabre journey to perfect a new method of prolonging life. Perhaps you might become friends on the way. Perhaps you might become more...

  • Engine upgrades. Your locomotive will receive a new slot for engine equipment. When equipped – and when you have enough crew members to take full advantage of a superior engine – your locomotive will be able to travel faster, at a premium in fuel...

  • An opportunity to construct an additional transit relay. This will be a substantial undertaking, but once complete, it will provide captains with a quick and convenient route between two previously unconnected regions of the Skies.

  • Probably, various other features and improvements we're not ready to talk about just yet.
All being well, the Hoarder update will be with you in September. If you'd like to hear from us when it's out, you can follow us here on Steam or on Twitter, or join us on Discord. And as always, thanks for playing!

Patch notes for the Horn Update
  • Empyrean Outriders, Curators, Scrive Spinsters, Senior Scriveners and the Undeparted have had their movement and AI adjusted.
  • Scrive Spinsters and Senior Scriveners have new models and attacks.
  • The Empyrean Outrider no longer uses barrel bombs.
  • The Curator's scream attack is faster, but no longer arcs towards targets. Its close range attack has been replaced with an area-of-effect attack.
  • The Undeparted have a new attack.
  • Nearly 100 new ambient messages have been added and another 40 or so have been updated.
  • Blue Kingdom spawns have been adjusted for difficulty.
  • Some enemies in the Blue Kingdom have had their stats adjusted for balance reasons.
  • Active wells now exert gravity and damage engines that stray too close to their centre. A warning klaxon will sound if you are taking damage.
  • The Incautious Driver will no longer speak on approach to the Fragment's Refuge if they have been seconded somewhere.
  • Abandoned structures now have a chance of spawning Guest Dreadnoughts.
  • Vitrified Structures will sometimes now reward captains with Condemned Experiments.
  • Wrecks and Windswept Habitations now always display appropriate ambient messages.
  • The ambient messages for the Shadow of the Sun platform in The Blue Kingdom now appear in the appropriate location.
  • Several interaction prompts and messages on transient discoveries have been corrected.
  • Resurrectionists are no longer referred to as Grave Robbers.
  • Reach Marauders are no longer implausibly restrained when shot.
  • There are no more invisible rocks around Polmear and Plenty's.
  • The Empyrean Outrider's projectiles no longer shed hair.
  • It is no longer possible to sell more items than you possess.
  • Ratbite will now leave your engine at the end of her quest.
  • Dining with the Deathless will now properly unlock new bargains at the Most Serene Mausoleum.
  • The Ozymandias and the Orphean have now received the italics that were their due.
  • Unidentifiable Squirmings will now direct captains correctly to St Anthony's Lighthouse.
  • Captains may no longer visit the New Somerset Hunting Club if they have worn out their welcome in Port Avon.
  • Interlocutors at Regent's Tears will no longer shift identities in the middle of a conversation.
  • Several more quests are now marked complete in the journal when they should be.
  • The Collective Conclusion is now tracked under events, rather than as a quest.
  • The Researcher's Crusade is now tracked under Peculiarities rather than in the journal, since there is always something you can do for them.
  • The time before you can learn the outcome of your efforts when meeting the Researcher's requests is no longer affected by how many of them you complete.
  • A number of time delays that could be unreasonably long will now consistently last for 15 days.
  • You will no longer receive messages about changing areas.
  • There are now fewer extraneous full stops.

GraveRun - Vlad Dae

🍳 Few people know, but GraveRun has an online map editor:
http://gredactor.graverun.ru/

This fact was not particularly highlighted anywhere, except in a pair of streams, and this is why:
In order to save server resources, cloud storage was cut down and the use of the editor resembled a cartridge with Zelda without a battery — either do it all at once or start over again each time...

However, the hearts demanded a change and the save system was reworked, also the local save ability was added. Now, in the best traditions of DIY, you will be able to create a map in a few clicks, on which you can play and change it at any time by uploading it back to the editor 👍
