We released The Price of Freedom two and half years ago. Being our first VR title, we wanted to reach as many consumers as possible, and chose to release the title for free. We were overwhelmed by the positive reaction to our work and our story, and thank you for the support.
As a studio our heart is in our games, but we make our living by doing client work and other projects. We want to continue bringing you new VR Experiences, and in order to help move us towards that goal, we are electing to start charging $1.99 for The Price of Freedom.
This is only for NEW downloads - if you have already downloaded PoF you will continue to have access. As the VR market grows this will give us some new cash flow that we can put towards new game experiences - including new episodes of The Price of Freedom.
Thank you again for your support! And keep an eye out - new content is coming soon :)
We’ve got some big stuff coming up in Sansar, so hold onto your hats as we take a tour of the future. Sansar has become the go-to virtual concert venue for artists, content creators, and fans all around the world. This summer, we are launching a Live EDM concert series to bring incredible music experiences to fans all around the world.
The concept is that anyone can play every city in the world in a single night. This concert series is the doorway for users and partners alike to host their own live concerts, create insane and innovative venues, and design custom items and clothing for their fans.
We’ve partnered with renowned EDM label Monstercat, and are hosting The Glitch Mob in July. Not only are we hosting incredible events, but we’ve also worked with our partners to sell unique virtual merch (verch) for the EDM series. Users will be able to deck out avatars in Monstercat helmets, oversized paws, and virtual tour t-shirts!
July Events: 12th: Monstercat 8 Year Anniversary Concert 17th: The Glitch Mob Live in Sansar 18th-21st: Comic Con 23rd: Fnatic 15: Anniversary Party w/ Special Guests 31st: Star Trek Las Vegas
The sun is shining, the creeps are marching, and it's the perfect time to open up the proverbial windows and give the Dota world a healthy scrub. To that effect, we'll be working on an update focused on bug fixes that should help get the lanes in good shape as we head into the final stretch before The International.
To assist in our efforts, we'd love the Dota community to put on your bug-hunting hats and sound off on any bugs you've encountered during your games. While we will be primarily looking for bug reports, we are also interested in adding some quality-of-life improvements, so if you have any ideas please don't hesitate to share.
Up next for the Battle Pass, we are aiming to ship the Kid Invoker Hero Persona with next Friday's update on the 19th.
Suit Healing (Tier 1 upgrade): This powerup lets you recover health if you hold down. It works pretty slowly so it can’t be used in battle. Lets you save food so that when you are fighting a boss you can have food to recover health in the middle of the fight.
Pyro Suit (Tier 2 upgrade): This allows you to set yourself on fire at will. You can also extinguish yourself as you please. Fire does damage to you but also has some other cool interactions in the world that can be useful, from combat to getting into certain areas.
I've also mostly redone my store page. The "About This Game" fits my game so much more now and is filled with the type of dialog and humor that's actually in the game.
On Thursday, July 18 at 00:00 a.m. UTC, we will release title update 6.1, which includes the following new features and bug fixes.

Variable landing lag implemented but only light landing lag is enabled right now (fast landing lag)

Online should be working properly and players should spawn. We lost our results code to corruption which for some reason caused the whole online not spawning issue. We will be replacing/remaking our results screen and code
