Just gonna do more frequent but smaller patches for a bit

Changes

  • Crouching hides nametag and minimap icon perfectly now
  • Butterflies no longer send repetitive errors making the game slower
  • Hammocks no longer mess with size
  • Hammock capybara now speaks (when not sleeping that is)
  • Special tails now properly turn off when switching to a multi tail character

Small update with a few fixes.



  • Added support for Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Scores don't register on leaderboards if you don't beat the qualification time.

  • Removed a few developer features that allowed for exploits.

Also includes plenty of internal changes to set up the game for future content updates.

大家好!追加的音量控制功能终于调测完毕了~于是这次更新的主要内容包括:
1、加入音量控制功能,可以在“环境设置”里自由调节音量了
2、修正在某些情况下无法获得成就“空虚的追寻”的隐藏bug
3、修正通关特典与正篇中新发现的少量错误
4、在沙漠寻宝事件中加入闪光提示以降低难度
5、追加好孩子画册全阅读奖励,九本全部看过的情况下看最后一本时茜斯卡MaxHP提升
6、解除对幻则攻击力的999上限限制

此外近期有几位玩家反馈了疑似由于steam云存档出错或杀毒软件误杀造成的进程文件损坏问题,所以如果不需要用到云存档的话建议暂且关闭此功能。
万一遇到这个错误(典型表现:进入游戏时突然报错“脚本Scene_Title的229行发生了TypeError”,或游戏中已获得的成就/人物档案等Extra数据莫名丢失),可以到Q群【826914079】联系我们手动修复损坏的进程文件

(云存档功能关闭方法:在steam主页面上选择“库”,再在左边游戏列表里的“沉睡的法则”上点击鼠标右键打开设置窗口,切换到“更新”标签页,取消“为沉睡的法则启用steam云同步”上的打勾)
Stratus: Battle For The Sky - nate
We have recently brought on more to the Storm Isle team to move the unreal4 build of Stratus forward at a faster development pace, the new coding team has taken our tech build we put together in unreal4 and have redone the bridging system to more closely follow the original NS games mechanics.. The coding team is making rapid progress on finalizing the bridging system and will be turning attention to the island capture and linking up of bridges to islands..

Once the bridging update is completed the following will be worked on.


Combat and further unit implementation of ranges and attacks.
Mulitplayer join and host.
We are also laying the ground work for adding in basic AI

If all all goes well we will be updating the unreal4 build of Stratus on steam with the latest build that has all currently implemented features.

We look forwards to getting the new build out to testers and players.

  • added the Ion beam controller to the game. Blueprint drops in green zone from T2.5 ships as temporal source before dedicated ship is introduced.

  • added a new Pike variant with Energy turrets and ECM
  • energy turrets should now be obtainable outside of green zone
  • new modules were integrated into the design screen
  • activating debug mode from the ingame menu via Konami code will now also activate design screen debugging options
    Bug Fixes
  • your targeting computer will no longer draw target brackets for ships that are still targeted but outside of your view and in another sector since they draw at the wrong spot and look like a bug
  • added more null reference checks to some EVA boarding code that should never have crashed in the first place because none of these things can ever be null but apparently one of them was anyhow
  • fixed a crash in the debug spawn menu caused by trying to teleport yourself into a new design which has no airlocks
  • fixed a bug where drone launchers were not synchronizing their ready state if they were created on a ship which already has ready drones
  • fixed some code that might have been causing visual artifacts when switching between ship interiors on occasion. We suspect a thread timing issue so we weren't able to reproduce the problem reliably but we fixed some code that looked really suspicious and we're hoping to never talk about it again

These patch notes belong to patch deployed few days ago, they are just slightly delayed. Patch 0.8.4.02 is already in work. In meantime, before trying to summon Budd, please make sure you have both "kill Greg" and "kill Budd" missions. We suspect, that having only one may lead to quest bugging out.
