Akane is loud, bitchy and tough and will drop kick any guy who dares to even glance flirtatiously at her. She is strictly a tomboy and has no desire whatsoever to be anything close to a "girlie-girl". As captain of Hanami University's women's soccer team, Akane has very strong leadership skills which she uses to command her team to absolutely dominate the field. She also excels at many other sports, including track and field and can usually be found running laps around the track well before sunrise. She is extremely competitive and loves a good challenge, she particularly enjoys playing beach volleyball against Iromi, who is almost as fiercely competitive. Akane's greatest desire is to win a gold medal for Japan as captain of the national women's soccer team and she will annihilate any obstacle to achieve that goal.
Akane's Play Style
Akane's play style is aggressive and so you should always apply pressure onto the opponent as much as possible. However, don't shoot off her super randomly as it can be easily blocked if the other opponent is paying attention. Timing her super just right will allow you to inflict quick and decisive damage while leaving a gaping hole in your opponent's wall.

Hi storm chasers! First of all, I would like to thank you all for your support and interest. It is very motivating to see that the game is followed by the gamers.
As I said in the last post, I'm working on a relatively small update to solve some issues and add simple but important features.
I think it's essential, for an Early Access game, that players can keep an eye on the evolution of development.
So, to keep you inform of the tasks I am working on, I have created a Trello board with the features and bug fixing that will be in the next update of the game and to track features that will be added later.
There are three columns that represent the state of the tasks that will be added in the next version and I have added a fourth column to list interesting features that will be added later.
In case of bug fixing, if I mark a task as Done, it could be because I have fixed it or because I can't reproduce it.
The name of the board includes the version number of the next update. I will change it anytime I upload a new update.
I have seen that many of you would like to know the exact upload date of the next update, but I can't give you more info as I am working on tasks one by one and getting an exact estimate is impossible.
I prefer to not give any date to avoid disappointments, but with this Trello board you will be well informed of the next update's progress.
That's all for today, don't doubt to post suggestions because even if I don't comment, I read every post.
Thank you so much for being here, see you in the game! ːsteamhappyː
We found a rare cooldown bug when the server was shut down a certain way. It was enough of a bug to work this weekend and get it done. We got some others along the way too.
Changes: Cooldown bug fix. Lightning elementals name text bug fix. New nature zones and respawn points. Teleporters in Suzerain are no longer elemental locked.
The teleporter change allows full access to the world map. Eventually these will be rep and/or server quest locked. So enjoy them while you can and explore the world.
Thanks for all the support and don't forget to talk to us!
Main highlight of this update is the scheduler. You can now give your survivors some downtime so they are not unhappy all of the time! With this update you can only set a schedule for the whole colony. However in the near future you will be able change the schedules of each survivor independently. Lots of other minor tweaks to make happiness not be such a killer in the early game and general bug fixes made it in as well!

The Paradox Comic Book is available in our Merch store!
A few years ago fanartist Lau Kwong Shing (@cowcowtony) made a 16-pages comic version of Rusty Lake: Roots, we were amazed by its quality and this piece eventually lead to the Paradox Comic book.
Thank you so much Lau for your amazing talent, hard work and dedication to translate the Paradox story into such a beautiful comic. We couldn’t happier with our collaboration :) Also big thanks to zbfghk for their help editing and printing the comic in the best way possible.
Today in the spotlight is "Security Shamblers" by Roadman 1 (pvpbendy), which combin̵̸̷̕es the titular zombies with one of the most feared, infamous, and challenging enemies in the game - zombie cameras!
When combined, t̡hey pose a serious threat - the hanging heads now act as shambler heads, meaning they can seeandshoot you as well as screaming to alert the entire level if you get too close. If that's not enough, they've also got grenades attached to thei҉̶͘r heads, so don't shoot them from too close if you don't want to be caught in the blast! Thankfully, put toget̛͢͞͏̸her with a generously placed 10mm, killing the shamblers results in plenty̵͝͏̷͡ of ammo being dropped, more than enough to deal with every enemy in the level.
While fun and challenging, one issue I have with this level are the abundance of indestructible lights. While it's understandable that they're there to make the shamblers more deadly - their vision wouldn't extend far past the standard zombie cam vision cone otherwise - but I still wish the solution wasn't to axe shooting out lights entirely.
Despite that, the map's still a great deal of fun. While the grenades may be traps meant for you, you can still use them against your enemies, made easier by the 10mm Pistol provided right at the start of the stage. In the end, Security Shamblers is a pretty decent map with a cool concept from a newcoming mapmaker that’s a lot of fun.
