Now I am working on the cutscene cinematics, and I will extend the game story a little bit further! it will take some time.

until then I will keep the price as is, but once the game is updated I will double the price.

It is a good chance to get the game right now before I finish working on the cutscenes.

About the Linux build, it seems that Ubuntu is dropping the support for 32bit applications. I will wait for until they settle on a decision then I will work on it again soon.

MISC MULTIPLAYER FIXES

  • Increased the number of items spawned with the number of players in MP
  • Increased the frequency by which items are spawned in MP
  • Spawn pickups other than recordings back into to the map when players die
  • Made player icon ignore graphics settings for Steam so it no longer looks like NSFW image

GAMEPLAY UPDATE

  • Fixed a bug where singleplayer dolls are spawned in multiplayer
  • Made sure that repair kits are removed from player's inventory after death
  • Some beginning work on supporting more footstep sfx for males
  • Desynced the prison body bags so they look more unnatural when it moves around in the Lost Prison Room
  • Each part of “It” has their own chase texture (Please Standby)
  • Reduced the Memory requirement to open each Lost Room by -2
  • Updated various icons to be more standardized and clear for improved QoL
  • Fixed the meshes of all playable characters so their shadows will now show their cases
  • Recalibrated each part of “It” to have slightly longer chases and decreased reprieve time so players will need to be more cautious
  • Fixed some cases where there are floating dolls in the Hedge Theme (Still some rare cases, will be addressed)
  • Fixed the lighting in the Final Cutting Room so the lighting so it is always on for better clarity
  • Linked repair speed to UI spinning
  • Properly delay epilogue load screen so players can read the last chapter of the story
  • Compassnot cleaning up properly in SP (while making sure that compass should be always on in MP)
  • Now Shows a "cannot" sign over the run indicator when players fatigued out to avoid confusion
  • Updated a few words/phrases for better clarity

ACHIEVEMENT UPDATE

  • Fixed achievement triggers for the end game
  • Fixed stats tracking for the games won in MP

We fixed all the known Achievement issues in this patch for all future tracking. We are still currently working on a method to honor those that satisfied the requirements to earn the achievements.

Hi everyone,

We rolled out another patch to hotfix a few reported issues.

HOTFIXES
  • Fixed a wrong connection between Rhythm and Ascend causing the progression between levels to be incorrect
  • Average statistics in Ranked matches now display correctly instead of accumulating
  • The number in the unlock screen now represents the total lootballs instead of just the ones in the machine
  • Fixed Sol feat of strength not having an icon/description when unlocking

IMPROVEMENTS
  • Your own player icon in the end of match screen, or those of split screen players, are now visually distinct from other players when pressing rematch
  • Player that leave at the end of a match receive a visually distinct icon in the end of match screen

SERVER SIDE FIXES
  • In ranked matches, you should no longer get stuck in the respawn tube
  • The players queued and matched up in ranked matches should happen more consistently. The matchmaker would previously be too picky, this caused multiple nearly full games queuing at the same time - while matches could have easily started

Our second post-launch patch is out now! Here's a summary of the most important fixes. The full changelog can be found on GitHub and it's also included in the game folder in a file called "changelog.txt".

  • Fixed a networking problem that occasionally caused clients to get kicked out in the multiplayer campaign, usually with an error message warning about a missing item.
  • Fixed servers using a local campaign save path sent by the client setupping the campaign, preventing the campaign from starting up if the path does not exist at the server's end.
  • Fixed radio communication occasionally not working between characters in the multiplayer campaign. Characters that had made it through at least one round were not able to communicate through radio with characters that have just been spawned for the first time.
  • Kick votes persist during a multiplayer session even if the client disconnects (= disconnecting and rejoining just before you get kicked doesn't work anymore).
  • The server sends a "this client previously used the name xxx" message when a client rejoins with a different name.
  • Replaced WinForms with SDL which should resolve most of the fullscreen/resolution issues. It's also now possible to change the resolution when in fullscreen without having to restart the game.
  • Fixes to the DXGI crashes during startup.
  • Fixed an issue that caused modded character files to affect the game even when the mod was not enabled, leading to various issues such as characters failing to equip items if the mod changes the number or type of inventory slots a character has.
  • Fixed a bug in monster/item spawnpoint logic that occasionally caused perfectly valid spawnpoints to be discarded when there were floating ice chunks in the level, sometimes causing monsters to spawn very far from the submarine (which often lead to the player not running into them at all).
  • Fixed items applying their status effects twice if they're put into a container by swapping them with another item. For example, replacing a fuel rod in the reactor by dropping a new fuel rod on it caused the reactor behave as if it had two rods in it.
  • Servers only report content packages with files that cause multiplayer incompatibility to the master server. Fixes servers showing up as incompatible in the server list if they have custom sub files (or other types of files that don't cause compatibility issues) installed.
  • Dozens of smaller bugfixes; see the full changelog.

Please note that this patch includes networking changes that make the game incompatible with servers running on the old version of the game. If you're getting error messages about an incompatible game version when trying to join a server, it's most likely because the server host has not updated their game yet.

In other news, to give you a better idea of our future plans and what we're working on now, we're setting up a public Trello board with a roadmap of our plans for the Early Access period and a list of known issues (and possible workarounds). More about that in our next community announcement!
