The dust has now settled on E3 and Cyberpunk 2077 has garnered a lot of attention the past week. Not least because John Wick himself Keanu Reeves has now been confirmed as having a large part in the game, but also the various previews that have surfaced about the game. We’ll be rounding up what we know about Cyberpunk 277, trailers, and that all-important release date information.

Brassheart - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

Upcoming point and click adventure game Brassheart is presumably named for its many sentient robots, made from shiny metal tech spun off from 1920s sensibilities. These AI can be pals, like the chirpy Pascal who accompanies our protagonist Pola, or not so friendly, like the out of control invention that kidnapped its own creator, Pola s father. Whoops. You can listen to Pola explain it herself in the trailer below.

Solace State: Emotional Cyberpunk Stories - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

Stylish 3D visual novel Solace State takes place in a locked-down surveillance society, but I suspect those in power don t quite see our hero Claire coming. She s a resistance hacker searching for her lost best friend Rebekah, who will I m sure get inevitably tangled up in something bigger. Plug into the trailer below, which mostly features her making jokes at the expense of her ex-boyfriend.

E3 might be over, but the great turning wheel of game development never pauses. These developers might not get the glitz/grime combo of the big show, but they do have Screenshot Saturday, a lovely Twitter tag to share some peeks at in-progress work. This week: some lonely foxes, a handful of very helpful party decorations, and a wonderful collection of scrap.

Etherborn - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

The space-bending puzzle game Etherborn will be winding its way onto PC next month. You ll need to puzzle your way through its lack of up as a concept in order to progress through the levels, which is bad news for me as my brain utterly does not work that way, but I like the idea regardless. Take a peek at its latest trailer below, which manages to be both very lovely and to hurt my brain to look at.

Overcooked! 2 - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

Halloween seems to come earlier and earlier every year, and this year it s co-op kitchen chaos simulator Overcooked 2 beating the rest of the pack to getting the vampires and ghosts out from the back of the cupboard. Night Of The Hangry Horde is a DLC that introduces a wave-based attack by the game s ravenous zombie loaves, the unbread, along with new recipes, chefs, and kitchens. Pretend it s October and take a peek at the creepy trailer below.

Spiritfarer®: Farewell Edition - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

I wouldn t blame you for having missed Spiritfarer s trailer at E3 this week, which came right after Keanu Reeves surprise appearance at the Microsoft press conference. But still, now that it s the weekend and things are calming down a bit, it s the perfect time to take a look at its pleasant management-y-ness and beautiful skybox. According to its trailer, which you can see below, its key verbs are build, care, explore, which are all lovely. And you can hug a deer, a long term ambition of mine.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Jay Castello)

Bethesda announced at E3 this week that Fallout 76 would be getting a battle royale mode, called Nuclear Winter, with a sneak peek already available to play. I tried it. I had a truly horrible experience with a nuke. And I concluded that this is just what Bethesda Fallouts are now: nihilistic romps through destroyed wastelands that care little for examining the societies that created them in the way other Fallouts have been careful to.
