We recently fixed an issue affecting the timers and energy in the Butterjunk Challenge.
Any players that were missing energy have been sent a refill via the in-game mailbox. After you open the mail message to receive the refill item, you must navigate to your inventory toolbox to actually use it and apply the energy to your Challenge. The refill can be used only for this Challenge and will expire when the event ends. The refill can't take you over the energy cap, so it is recommend you not use it until you are 0 energy left.

RoboGenesis Flipside Genesis launched on Early Access today!
I should have posted this earlier, as it will probably affect a good number of you who were interested in the original game, RoboGenesis. The game is now called "Flipside Genesis" and is pretty much a completely different experience. I took over solo development of the project a few months ago and the original concept was just too much for a single developer.
If the new game looks interesting (it's a single player space shooter), check it out! If not, I apologise for not updating you sooner.
It is early access in the truest definition... many of the planned features aren't in place and the current experience is a bit shallow. I really look forward to working with the players as the game is developed, and I think you will be pleased at how quickly progress is made!

Increased the death timer base by 25%
Health Shrooms no longer start you with partial health on equip
Items that fighters were holding will now pop out on permadeath
Inventory screen now pauses the game, can be used at any time, and contains 80% less grunting.
Bugs:
Fixed a screen glitch when resuming in the tutorial
An update like this is long overdue. Thanks to all of you for reporting everything you reported. As a result, a pretty long list of issues had built up. This week, I got through all of the known and reproducible issues affecting the game engine and code. A few bigger fixes are worth mentioning specifically. If you've ever seen a "ghost" player standing there, aging, who no one else can see, the source of that problem has finally been found and fixed (it was caused by someone passing through your area, going at least 64 tiles in one go without ever stopping their walk). The issue with animals and other movable items not respawning when nature reclaims an area has been fixed. And most importantly, a server message overload that was triggered when you targeted a family member with a sword has been fixed. That overload was so extreme that it caused nearby clients to get bogged down and disconnect. A full list of the changes can be seen here:
There have been a lot of huge changes to the structure of the game over the past month, so this is a good place to take a step back and let the game breath a bit with these big changes while I focus on fixing reported issues.
