We managed to find another cosplayer replace the missing content. If by any chance the missing cosplayer send us the photo in the future, we will also add to the cosplay DLC as free extra update.
And we will be looking for people to work on the Spanish localization as well.
FAN'CIE VEER! (Fish Are Nasty, Cake Is Excellent Vektor Evading Emblazed Rapture) - ZaxtorGameS
In this update, several changes were made...
* Smaller rocks (Vektoroids) were added and they are worth more points when shot and way more points when crashed through with your ship!
* Your bullets that bounce off of Vektor fish and Vektoroids because your bullet was not the correct color to destroy them will now KILL YOU if your own bullet hits your ship! ..You'll also see the reason for death after you die state that you shot yourself.
* Added enhanced movement trail effects from your player ship that fades and narrows over time to create a more appealing look. This new effect comes with no performance loss at all, and I believe only adds to the overall appeal of the game.
* Eating cake and being over 100% in size will now give you "Fat and Happy"points every second that you are alive and over 100% in size. The bigger you are, the more points you'll score every single second!
* Added a Time Bonus counter with bars that show you how much time you have to score a time bonus by clearing a level as well as how many bonus points you'll score. Seeing your time bonus points going down as time passed on each level seems to add an element of urgency to the game!
* Added smaller sized Vektoroids (rocks) that behave exactly as their larger kin. You still need to be the opposite color to shoot or crash through them but they are worth more points!
* Adjusted the wrap around on the Vektoroids so that they will mostly disappear off one side of the screen completely before wrapping around to the other side (Before you would see half of a Vektorid on each side of the screen as it wrapped around)
* Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause your bullets to not bounce off of Vektoroids when your bullet was the incorrect color to destroy it and instead your bullet would just vanish. This has now been fixed and all incorrect colored bullets to destroy a Vektoroid will now bounce off properly.
* Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause your bullet to hang up on a Vektor fish and not bounce or vanish and also cause the Vektor fish to get stuck in position.
* Having time left when you clear a level has been increased to about 5x the previous rates to reward you better to clearing levels in fast times. The faster you clear a level, the bigger the time bonus.
I think these changes are all solid and good changes that help make "FAN'CIE VEER!" both more fun and more rewarding to play! ..But be sure and let me know your thoughts and especially if you come across any new bugs or problems caused by this update!
Living in the 1970s must've been an experience in itself. All the world around us was changing. So many reforms and change - Social - Technological - Economical - Borders just to name a few.
Radio was a big part of everyone's life in the 1970s. They had hand radios, radios in their bicycles, cars everywhere. I had to put a radio system in the game so here it is.
During the 1970s music was huge, bigger than television if I may say so. The top genre were Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Jazz Blues, Disco, Funk.
During this time two new genres were rising : Rock and Hip-Hop(in the USA).
The radio plays 2 stations and 1 station needs to be unlocked in game. Stations :
- Jezzy Station tuned at 93.5 (Jazz and Blues)
- Disco 99 Station tuned at 99 (Disco and Funk)
- Rolla 104 Station tuned at 104 (Rock and Roll)
I wish to put in some voice acting but they are pretty expensive, so right now its just music tracks.
Yes, the new and improved Puzzle Island VR version should be released within a week. But we've also setup a page for WEJAM, our casual multiplayer music application. Take a look and wishlist:
