Warface: Clutch - E.D.Warface_CM
Soldiers!

Global update "Mars" will soon land on Warface servers. Here is some latest info about it. Today we will talk about brand new features of Special Operation "Mars". It is time to learn what secrets the Red Planet keeps!

1. GOOD BYE, SWEET HOME!

For the first time in its history the game will feature extraterrestrial battles. You will be able to contemplate breath-taking Martian landscapes and pay a visit to colonists’ research station towering above a vast wasteland. Feel like shooting a sci-fi movie?

2. GO HOME, GRAVITY, YOU ARE DRUNK!

A weaker gravity of the Red Planet will contribute to otherworldly experience as well. Enjoy picturesque scenery jumping high and far. It might take you a while to get used to the unusual movement system.

3. HUMANS ARE OBSOLETE!

During the Spec Op you will get a unique opportunity to adopt the role of your enemy manipulating a SED 2.0. Feel the real power of destruction! Be on high alert as it is easy to hijack a SED. Guard your back!

4. ENERGY WEAPONS FROM A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY...

Martian SEDs 2.0 come equipped with energy guns of the ARCUS series. You do not have to bother about reloading but do prevent it from overheating or you will need to change power cells. And it will take you far more time than a normal reload!

5. THE FIRE MODES OF ARCUS.

Since ARCUS is a modular gun, you can switch fire modes. There are three of them at your disposal: automatic assault, semi-automatic tactical and an incredibly powerful one dealing devastating damage. Swap combat roles with a keystroke!

6. FACE NEW ENEMIES!

In the Special Operation "Mars" you will face a new type of enemies: homing spider-mines, a heavy droid "Antei-6", and a gigantic boss the likes of which you have never seen in the game before. The outcome of the whole mission will depend on your tactics and cooperation.

7. MOVE SHELTERS!

At one of the stages you will have to duck for cover to avoid fierce enemy fire. No minute to spare! Use a huge moving container to protect yourselves and advance forward.

8. SOLO STAND.

To emerge victorious in the final showdown you will need an incredibly powerful ARCUS module obtainable in a special individual mission. Put your combat skills to the test in a face-to-face standoff!

9. LASER DISCO!

"Mars" will pose yet another challenge. Beware of powerful laser beams! If you happen to touch one of these, the mission might be over for the whole squad. It's a good idea to stay the hell away from them! At some stages lasers will form lethal obstacles and will be deactivated at regular intervals while in other cases they will move along a set path.

10. GODS OF WAR.

"Ares" series is a line-up of weapons with "Ares" specific attachments that drastically change not only the weapons’ looks but also their stats (damage, rate of fire, range, magazine capacity etc.). The series includes one gun for each class. You can get your hands on them by completing the Special Operation "Mars".

The new Special Operation offers tons of one-off features. Brace up and see you on Mars!

Captain Starshot - DoubleDoor Games
Welcome back, Captain.
The team has been hard at work on the finishing touches for most of the games features. Here is a little bit of what you can expect to play very soon.

Upgrades! Augment your captain and crew with various items of human and alien origin.
https://youtu.be/w2W_xhp_dP4
Upgrades are split into two categories: Modifiers that alter your weapon statistics and Abilities that perform an action once you have satisfied their requirements. The latter proved a difficult design challenge for us to overcome.
Encouraging players to min-max their gameplay to optimizing the activation of their abilities is not an easy task. Several things played into this: tieing requirements to sensible actions, the affordance of the item visually in terms of the icon and vfx and written in the form of the description.
In the last two weeks we have focused on theming and affordance.

On-foot Combat! We have been tweaking the enemies and adding to the game feel in as many subtle ways as we could.
https://youtu.be/VUGeAxHQYJg
We’ve revised the color coding on projectiles for you to better be able to focus better on enemy projectiles, altered the camera to be able to see more in the direction in which you are aiming, reworked the camera kick to feel better while moving and introduced a slow down upon completing rooms to signal to the player that the combat is over.
All of these, in addition to behaviour and balance changes for most enemies to make them more unique and fairer are the changes you can look forward to.
Development wasn’t without its issues. Managing difficulty and difficulty scaling is an ongoing issue that we are currently looking to solve by perhaps creating enemy variety by combining existing elements, introducing new ways to spawn enemies, and adjusting enemy health.

Comms! What use is roaming the galaxy with no one to talk to. Pick up communications from both friend and foe.
https://youtu.be/JFF14xEM2L8
Our comms system is working dual purpose, both to provide useful hints and guidance to the player and to give the world flavour.
We’ve gone through several iterations of this system to finally get to something you can look forward to every time you play.

This and more will be coming to early access, which is just around the corner!

Stay tuned,
Double D.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad - BlackSix
Dear friends,

Today's Dev Blog is really short - we're working on finishing the update 3.101 full time. This update will be very huge, its change list consists of more than 70 points already. Be warned by the way - because of the critical amount of changes, the track and mission format will be changed, so if you have interesting tracks convert them to videos beforehand. If you're an author of a custom mission or campaign, be prepared to resave your creation after the release (it can be done quickly using 'Convert missions to binary in folder' in the Mission editor). So, we have a lot of work on our hands at the moment, but it's not very exciting to tell about it. However, we have an interesting thing we can show you today.
................................

The plan is to have the external textures of all Bodenplatte aircraft in 4K quality. This is possible thanks to new texturing techniques and the help from our community members =ICDP= and =BlackHellHound1=. For instance, today we can show you the Me 262 as you'll see it in the coming update - in all 4K glory.
................................

See the world combat debut of our Me-262 at FS Expo 2019 in Orlando, FL June 8-9 Booth #505. Jason will be there putting it through its paces with a 6DOF motion-sim by Gforcefactory and VR.

Stormworks: Build and Rescue - Deltars

Dear Stormworkers,

This week's minor update brings a new type of laser sensor!

The laser point sensor will detect a laser light within it's vision upto 2000m away. There is also a new laser beacon component that emits a detectable light on the component. The new sensor acts like a camera, sensitive only to specifically laser light. It will output if a laser is detected, and the XY position of the point most central to it's field of vision.

This new component will help players build AI systems, helping accurately position and coordinate drones, create laser guided missile behavior, or other such systems.

The full patch notes can be found below.

Much Love <3

The new model has been requested by our user: Berdan-2 rifle!

The Berdan rifle is a Russian rifle created by the American firearms expert and inventor Hiram Berdan in 1868. It was standard issue in the Russian army from 1870 to 1891, when it was replaced by the Mosin–Nagant rifle. It was widely used in Russia as a hunting weapon, and sporting variants, including shotguns, were produced until the mid-1930s.

The Russian Berdan I (M1868) and Berdan II (M1870) rifles of .42 caliber are distinct from the Spanish Berdan 15mm (.58+ cal) conversion rifles adopted by Spain as the M1857/67 Berdan (and related engineer, artillery & short rifles).

Hello!

MUSEUM VOLUME I - Wreck Tangle Games

Wreck Tangle Games has released the second instalment in the ‘Museum’ series, titled ‘Museum Volume II’. The second part of our journey follows straight on from the first, where our protagonist, the security guard at the ‘The Royal Foyer Museum’ in London, must solve the mysteries surrounding his Museum.

In Volume II, four new exhibits are now open for us to explore. Straying away from ancient history this time round, the museum has opened up to a more random selection of exhibitions. The exhibits are as follows: Plymouth (Plymouth Rock), Medieval (A Medieval Village), Church (An Historic Church) and Victorian (Victorian London). Exhibits are much bigger in Volume II, with a different selection of puzzles, some of which are more difficult than that found in Volume I. There has also been a definite graphical overhaul from the first Volume, and WTG’s previous games, as this solo developer starts to fine tune his abilities.
