Starbreeze Studios don’t have enough funds to keep going for the next 12 months and may run out of cold hard cash by mid-year, they warned shareholders this week. The company behind Payday and Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons have been in financial trouble for a while, and took a big hit last year when zombie FPS Overkill’s The Walking Dead flopped so hard that the series owners eventually cancelled Starbreeze’s license and had it pulled from sale. They do think they’ll be able to recover from this and plan to build their future upon Payday but oof, it’s a grim situation.
Drawing a comic book is like playing Tetris with narrative beats. You have to somehow put on a page everything the script requires you to draw, give the right amount of space to important moments, make sure the reader s gaze flows naturally from panel to panel, and all your panels must look nice and clear but also in harmony with each other.
So you, the artist, sketch little layouts first. You shuffle and rearrange the panels, trying to find the right combination before drawing the page. It s a difficult process, but it can give you the same satisfaction of playing a puzzle game — so it s no surprise to see developers turning this process into a literal game.

Fortnite’s new Fortbytes are individual challenges that unlock every few days, and require some specific conditions to unlock. Most are Battle Pass tier, match ranking, or experience-driven, but others may require you to actually go out into the world, dressed as a robot chicken, to find a chip on an island. There are a hundred in total and I will be going over all of them. Wish me luck.

Mordhau does quite a number of clever little things to progress the medieval slash-’em-up formula set by Chivalry, and today we’ll talk about one of the most important: perks. Mordhau’s perks allow you to invest your character’s “points” into something other than your equipment and weaponry, adding little (or large) bonus traits and moves to your death-dealing repertoire. Our Mordhau perks guide will walk you through which perks are worth taking and which aren’t worth your hard-earned points.
There was no diary yesterday, but today is in fact yesterday’s diary. If that makes sense. Because today I am going on holiday and I am leaving my computer behind. No diaries for a week. I hope Marty Burnham The Moon Witch will be okay. I hope the earth will be okay. Without context that sounds extremely conceited, doesn’t it?

Yes, folks, it’s that time again – Fortnite has entered into Season 9 amid a host of destructions and rebirths, and we’re here to put together exactly what’s changed in a neat little package for you. Monster Hunter: World has a couple of crossover events, but the most ambitious puts us in the shoes of Geralt of Rivia as he hunts down the monster that transported him and a Nekker to the forest. This turns out to be the Leshen who has taken up residence in the Ancient Forest and disturbed the natural order. You’ll therefore need to put it down.
Those new to hunting monsters, or if you just need to find a particular monster guide to get up to Hunter Rank 16 – needed to start this quest – should head over to our [cms-block] hub for a plethora of guides.
This article is not about microtransactions (that is, buying virtual products with small payments) within the game of Hearthstone. It is, in fact, an article about micro transactions>; specifically, it’s about how the various characters from Hearthstone would react to the initiation of transactions involving very small amounts of money, according to me and my mate Trevar. Micro transactions in the real world are situations we all face every day. As such, this article is educational, and so much more important than if it were about microtransactions. Anyway, here we go:

This year I picked/packed a better holiday game than holiday book. Although J.P. Kenyon definitely knows his onions (his onions being 17th Century England) his descriptions of the myriad squabbles between king and parliament that led to civil war are pretty dense and difficult to follow, even for someone who knows his ship money from his tonnage and poundage. Factor in glorious sunshine, post-hike weariness, and a surfeit of cakes and ale and you’ll understand why my bookmark only advanced 85 pages during my week away. While Fantasy General has its own difficulty and scrutability issues, I can’t say I ever put it aside with a puzzled frown on my face or dozed off in the middle of a turn. (more…)

Below is a list of 30 things wot you might find in the human body ( things is used in its broadest possible sense). Entries have been stripped of vowels and any inter-word spaces have been repositioned. For example, if ‘large intestine’ was present it might appear as LRGNT STN. Shrapnel would be SHRPNL.
