One of the best things about DCS is the powerful Mission Editor, it can be daunting when first looking at mission creating, but there are many great tutorials out there for the Mission Editor, as well, work is on going for improving documentation to include the many new features that have been added over time.

Hello Fellow Rulers! Small update to the previous beta build. Now that we've tackled some of the more difficult issues and the big winter changes we've starting getting towards the pace of new updates. Beware though, these are for the more adventurous to test and will at times have new features in an incomplete state. You'll also typically need to delete all campaign saves between updates. If this sounds exciting to you the reward is a sneak peek into what is coming. :)
Features: These will be very vague to get feedback from a blind perspective.
Dock Greed is less passive

Fixes: Would love to get feedback if these are fixed for players experiencing these in the Winter Update

With the EA release coming soon, I think it's a good time, that you all know my plans for the Early Access and my overall philosophy of what this development phase means to me, so there won't be any miscommunications or disappointments and make an informed decision whether to get involved in it, or not.
For me the EA phase is where the true development of Erannorth Reborn begins, as now, we (you and I), can actually work together and build something beautiful. I am a firm believer that what makes a game truly great is its community; and my focus so far has been to provide a complete and easy framework, that will allow modders and creative players to create and add their own content to the game. To really get involved; and do so easily with ZERO coding experience, by editing plain text files. I already added a guide covering modding basics in the Community page so make sure to check it out!
I am also a firm believer that when developers do waterfall development, completely disregarding their audience, 90% of the cases is an unmitigated disaster!
So aside for overall polishing, Bugfixes, Typo/Grammar Corrections (I'll really need your help with that: English isn't my native language) and acting on (or at least considering) your own feedback on both planned & unplanned features, this is what I have in mind of doing during EA:
Erannorth Reborn EA Roadmap
Game Balance & Difficulty
Top Priority
Adjust Difficulty to what most of the game community considers as 'Normal' Difficulty.
Balance the Actions, Enemies & Enemies' abilities accordingly.
New Content
High Priority
New Enemy AI Behaviors & Enemies
New Action Effects & Actions
Random Events to Spice up the Gaunlet
Improved Tutorial (categorized in sections) covering more (and advanced) Game concepts (Based on your feedback)
New Features
High Priority
Add Difficulty setting to let users decide between Easy, Normal & Hard modes, and the overall amount of Gaunlet Stages (before completing their run).
Quality of Life Improvements based on your feedback
Story Mode
Medium Priority
User Leaderboards with Best Completion Time, Runs etc. for the Gaunlet
Personal Records, Best Completion Times, Runs etc. for the Gaunlet
Graphics & Visuals
High Priority
Extra PC Characters, Outfits and other Cosmetics based on your feedback
Modding Support
High Priority
Quality of Modding Improvements based on your feedback
Medium Priority
Users & modders can edit & override the Localization file
Mods are self-contained in their own folders
User-friendly in-game Manager or Utility to Install/Uninstall Mods (from .ZIP files)
Low Priority - If everything else is done
Steam Workshop support (Requires me to first complete the Medium Priority items)
Users & Modders can edit/create & add new Stories for the Story Mode
Once everything in this list is done hopefully within the next 3 to 6 months, Erannorth Reborn will be ready for wide Release. Will this be the end? Hopefully not, but just another beginning. If all go well, I will keep supporting the game and the community, with additional content, dlc & expansions.
But while dreaming the future is always a good thing, talking about it not necessarily so. :lunar2019grinningpig:
That's all I wanted to say for now. Looking forward to see you in the Discussion board!
